I had typed in SharkClean.com, guess what came up: askcrew.com! Didn't pay attention(mybad), gave them my debit card ino & voila, charged me $42. Immediately realized my stupid mistake, cancelled the subscription & asked for a refund. I received $21 (half of what they charged!). Plead my case and told them, I had not used their service and made an error. All to no avail. I find out they have a 1.8 out of 5 rating (not to my surprise) and that is on me and I hope no one else makes the same mistake!

In my first review on this crew I forgot to mention that as I had paid via PayPal so I thought I had better check my Pay Pal account. Well, these people made my payment recurring and did so without my knowledge - through this way they were able to (I believe unethically) charge my Pay Pall account.
If you have fallen for this trap make sure you cancel any ongoing payments whether it be through Pay Pal or your bank or any other charge card because I have no reason to believe that they will cancel any ongoing payments and of course you're stuck with trying to get your money back. Also, I think you will find that they are not in your country, my last contact showed them as being in Cyprus even though they showed a local phone number.

I didn't even subscribe to them. I just seen the charge on my account so I disputed it. Then I contacted them as well. They told me that since I disputed it through PayPal they wouldn't refund my money. They were beyond rude to me on top of it. PayPal can't prove that I didn't order it so they were no help.

This site invites nothing but Help that isn't worth a penny in your pocket. They charge your acct. $46 per month and you don't even know you have a membership for asking them one question, two and a half months ago. Any person that doesn't have any knowledge or gets mixed up can ask them a question and they get your financial information and tell you that the question is only going to cost you $1, then your signed up for a $46 A MONTH AUTO CHARGE.
So essentially I have been charged at least $92 for two months and one question, a question that did not even help my situation. I then I ask for a refund for two months and they turn it over to their internal team, who you don't get to converse with, and they refund you only $23. That's really a crock of dark brown pudding. Please don't fall for this site it should be taken down by the BBB

They require them for site access. DO NOT DO IT. This site is fraudulent. It will start taking money from your account even if you never use the site.
I did so. An online chat bot told me they had nobody available to answer legal or housing related issues.
I quit the site again. I never filled iny details or signed up to any subscription in any way. I did not even fill in my name or email.
A week later they charged me £24 and set up a direct debit to continue taking it weekly.
AskCrewe requested my email to respond to this review. The review stands. I have no subscription to their site. I have no login either. My bank is recovering the money they stole from me.
The site says that you must enter card details to access it at all. With a notice declaring you may be charged £1 temporarily but it will be repaid if you choose not to sign up. All of which is a lie. It charges and returns a pound yes. But then starts charging monthly, even though I never entered my details or created a login.

Ask crew.com ripped me off.They didn't answer my question. They fed me a whole lot of questions I didn't want and didn't have any answers to and when I asked for a refund, which should have been just the dollar I had paid, they took another 71.66 AUD instead.
