Aspen Dental' s Dr. Radovan was simply amazing! He took the time to explain my procedure thoroughly and put me at ease immediately. The staff was very compassionate. I highly recommend Aspen Dental for your dental care needs.
3 teeth pulled at one time...which resulted in infection that required two rounds of antibiotics.,.ill fitting dentures that fall out; decayed teeth fell out instead of dentist filling or removing. I have pictures that I will send to corporate office. I cannot chew food; missing teeth; dentist in Brenham Texas was awful. I want everything fixed and done properly.
ASPEN DENTAL COOKEVILLE, TN. HAD A TOOTH REMOVED AND THE DENTIST THAT DID THE WORK WAS GREAT. I HAD DENTAL INSURANCE THAT WOULD PAY 100% BUT ASPEN DENTAL ASKED FOR ME TO PAY FIRST. ASPEN DENTAL RECEIVED FULL PAYMENT FOR THE WORK DONE BUT WILL NOT RETURN THE MONEY TO ME THAT I PAID. SO IT LOOKS LIKE ASPEN DENTAL GETS PAID TWO TIMES FOR WORK ONLY DONE ONCE. AT THE TIME I HAD THIS WORK DONE ANOTHER MAN TOLD ME HE ALSO PAID AND HIS INSURANCE PAID ALSO. I GUESS THIS IS THW WAY ASPEN DENTAL WORKS!
Tip for consumers:
ASPEN DENTAL NOT A HONEST PLACE TO VISIT. THEY LIKE TO GET YOUR MONEY THAN ALSO GET PAID FROM AN INSURANCE COMPANY, AND DO NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY YOU PAID.

Went to Aspen Dental in Anderson SC for a toothache and replacement dentures and was told that I had to have a tooth extraction. It was the right bottom back tooth. Wisdom? I agreed and had it extracted. It didn't bleed which I thought was a little strange. I've had a lot of teeth pulled and that has never happened. When I got home my lip was swollen and bruised…I had paid close attention to not bite it! That night after the Novocain wore off it felt like I still had the toothache so I called and was common and told to take Advil as well as Tylenol. Did that but in the morning it was still throbbing so I went down there and they were at a meeting so we're closed for the day! I explained my problem and was told to call in the morning. WHAT?! Well, that was it. Not going back there. I got a call a couple of days later asking if I wanted the Dr to take a look at it. Reluctantly I went back because it was still throbbing. The Dr said it was a dry socket and packed it. That didn't help, it still hurt after Novocain wore off. It's been 3-4 weeks and I'm still having discomfort from it. I did some research and found that if a tooth doesn't bleed when pulled that it most likely is a dry socket. I fell that he should've known that was a big possibility. They tried to blame the swollen, bruised lip and the dry socket on something that I had done.
This is not the same place pre pandemic was. Everything is changed, including the staff.

Live in Southern York County, Take my Son to work in west Kings Mt, NC drive all the way to there parking lot, where their open at 7 am. Rather then hurting their fingers pressing buttons on a telephone, calling all customers, with daily appointment for today, waisting Joe Biddens Gas prices and being put off for 3 weeks already, deside when you walk in for a 9am appointment being told, yet put off another day, and having to repeat that process yet again, and wasiting even more Joe Bidden gas prices. Location of aspen dental. Highway 35 ocean township New Jersey
I have been looking for a dentist for a few months. Nothing critical, just need general upkeep and cleaning twice a year. I thought I would try Aspen dental. I watched the online presentations and it seemed quite positive. Therefore January 5,2023 I called to make an appointment. Friendly person on the phone, gathered my information and set an appointment for tomorrow January 6 at noon. I'm handicapped and asked about handicap parking. She said we have plenty. Got a call back about an hour later from Laura who asked me the same questions and asked me to come in 10 minutes earlier just to get checked in properly. She said there's no charge for the first visit, x-rays are free, a treatment plan will then be discussed before proceeding beyond day 1.
In general I am anxious about seeing a dentist. Therefore I'm nervous about the visit. So I arrived 15 minutes early and completed the check-in. Parking lot is packed and the plentiful handicap parking is all consumed by other cars. The waiting room contained about eight people who have yet to be served. I spoke to the woman next to me and said she's been waiting with her mother about an hour and that she's there only because her handicapped mother has Medicare and this is the only place that will see her. I said to myself that if I'm not served in 10 minutes, I'm leaving. At 12:11 PM I got up and told the receptionist that I'm leaving. She asked if I'd like to reschedule. I said no, this is unacceptable, something is very broken here. My appointment was at noon and there's no sign of me getting in for another hour. Something that was not told me on the telephone when I made the appointment yesterday. I would avoid this place unless there's absolutely no other place to go.
Tip for consumers:
Go elsewhere

I was traveling. Broke off about 1/4 of the back top of a bottom front tooth. No pain but was afraid if I didn't get it strengthened the front might break before I got home to my own dentist,
I called and explained the situation. Made an appointment for that afternoon at an office about 1.5 hours away. I was in a remote location.
I was 2 minutes away from their office and received a call welcoming me and informing me that my appointment would be 2 hours long. When I objected, they explained it was their policy. I'd have paperwork to fill out, x-rays and a hygienist before anything could be done. I had not been told this in my earlier call.
I decided to go in and try to persuade them this was not necessary as I'd been to my own dentist less than a month before. Upon entering, there was a man at the desk complaining he'd been charged for work on 4 teeth and he claimed it was only 2 teeth. They were disagreeing with him. I explained again my situation and that I'd just driven 1.5 hours to get my tooth fixed. (I'd had this happen before to another tooth and know it's about a 20 minute fix). They argued with me and refused to budge as it was their "policy" to put me through the rigors. As I was discussing all this another lady approached the counter, and complained she just had a rough spot on a tooth that needed a bit of filing. She, also, did not want x-rays, a hygienist, etc. Again they would not budge. Both the lady and myself wound up walking out.
They also had informed me on the phone (upon finding out I had no Dental Insurance) that the "good news" was that the initial office visit was only $19. I didn't really care just wanted my tooth fixed but after my visit I wondered what the final cost would have been after the x-ray, hygienist and repair had been done.

Terrible service. I made an appointment for a first time cleaning. They did a 1 hr 45 minute Xray series and gum poking for which I gave permission. After the dentist looked at the results, the hygenist suggested a deep cleaning. I say OK not knowing it would be a $265 charge that insurance would not cover and that I would have to schedule another appointment. My husband's was $1200. There was no mention of an extra cost. I called to change this appointment to a regular cleaning. They said I should drop in to see the hygenist to change it. When I did, the girl at the front desk said the hygenist could explain it, but not change the appointment to a regular cleaning. I got angry and argued that I should be able to change it. I left. As I was leaving the girl at the front desk asked if I was coming to the appointmen, I shrugged. I was still angry and was not sure. She canceled the appointment without informing me. I found out when I went back to keep it. Don't go! They will try to add extra unnecessary treatments without fulling informing patients of costs.

I first went to Aspen Dental for a partial exam due to suspecting a root canal in the near future. They are in my network and are said to employ endodontists. I have never had any work or dealings with them before now. Upon entering, the receptionist rather rudely told me to sit down, and she would be with me shortly. My appointment was at 7:30 am; there were no other patients in the office.
I waited about ten minutes and was asked for my insurance cards, given paperwork to fill out, and told to SIT. Finally got to the exam room, the dentist that came in was less than interested in anything I had to say and seemed bored even. When I asked questions regarding my treatment, he never gave me a straight answer and seemed annoyed, and told me to go wait to speak to financial.
I waited some more, then as luck would have it, financial was the hateful woman from the front desk. She was actually a little nicer than earlier when explaining the insurance but quickly became irritated the minute I said I wanted to talk to my insurance company first.
The following week, I went into the office to pay the money required and schedule an appointment for the root canal. The same lady was plain hateful and rude. She said she had other patients and to SIT DOWN AND WAIT, and she would get to me. This was after waiting ten minutes to be acknowledged, and so I asked if this was something I could do online or over the phone? I left and will not ever go back! These people really need to learn some customer service skills! I have never been spoken to so rudely in any medical office ever before. This woman spoke to me as if I was her misbehaving child and had absolutely no regret or fear of reprimand from supervisors. Truly shocking.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! ASPEN DENTAL IS THE MCDONALD'S OF DENTISTRY I STARTED IN APRIL OF 2021 WE'RE JUST A WEEK SHORT OF ONE YEAR AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A FINISHED PRODUCT. THE WHOLE OFFICE IS INCOMPETENT, THE REGIONAL MANAGER MATT IS VERY INCOMPETENT AND CHILDISH AND JOSH TRACY THE SALES DIRECTOR HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. AT THIS POINT I'M TALKING WITH ATTORNEYS, OREGON BOARD OF DENTISTRY AND I'VE CONTACTED AND FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF OREGON. YOU CANNOT NEGOTIATE WITH ASPEN THEY WILL SCREW YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN! THEY HAVE SINCE TERMINATED ME AS A PATIENT BECAUSE THEY CANNOT CREATE A PRODUCT THAT FITS MY MOUTH. THIS IS WHERE THEY'RE INCOMPETENCE LIES I'VE NEVER SEEN THE SAME DOCTOR TWICE BECAUSE THEY'RE FLYING IN DOCTORS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY TO FILL TEMPORARY POSITIONS. THEY ARE TRYING TO STAY AFLOAT. I PRAY AND HOPE AND CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE ASPEN DENTAL OFFICE DOORS ARE CLOSED PERMANENTLY IN ROSEBURG OREGON. MY BEST ADVICE TO ANYONE IS DON'T GO, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, DON'T WASTE YOUR ENERGY BECAUSE YOU WILL BE 100% DISAPPOINTED. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

I did not even get the chance to be seen; first it took nearly 3 months to get the first new patient appointment available with them - I do understanding that everyone is backed up and it is difficult to get to see MOST specialty doctors however, I got sick unfortunately around the time that I had the appointment set - when I called to reschedule my appointment they told me that their next available is not until October - this was back in June; the beginning of June! I told them to cancel my appointment and I would call around to other doctors offices to find a sooner appointment the rep on the phone said Okay and hung up. Then I receive an email that I did not show up for my appointment. That told me on many levels the professionalism and how petty the staff is at aspen dental. It is NOT okay for you NOT to cancel my appointment even though I had called to r/s and because I wanted to call around to other dental offices to find out something sooner you chose to just No Show my appointment. No that is NOT okay.

My normal dentist was no longer in network so I tried out Aspen dental since they accepted my insurance. They did some x-rays and measured my the spacing of my teeth (which I do not believe was accurate). There scanner was broken (so they say) so they did hand measurements.
They recommended a "deep cleaning" based on the 4 and 5mm spaces they recorded on a couple teeth. The deep clean consists of them spraying water between my teeth and applying an antibiotic called ARESTIN. I declined the antibiotic as it had a pretty alarming warning disclaimer in the brochure they handed me.
They took me to billing and told me my insurance was great and it would actually cover a good amount. The total charge for the deep cleaning was going to be $1,700 but insurance would cover all but $700 that I would need to pay out of pocket for. I asked for a regular cleaning and told the woman I was not comfortable with the antibiotic and I did not want to pay that price for them to just spray water in between my teeth. The woman told me that because I'm at risk for gum disease (based on there hand measurements) they can not do a regular cleaning it must be a deep cleaning or they are at risk for neglecting the patient.
I will never go back to this Chain in my life and I will never take my children there and will advise against anyone going there. It felt as though they were initially screwing numbers and trying to lead me into fear. My regular dentist had always told me I had healthy teeth and gums so I was suspicious from the beginning.
I'm will be returning to my regular dentist and paying there $50 cleaning fee for out of network.

Worst experience at this business. Requested X-rays due to a pending appointment at different dentist, and it was requested by the provider —came in to fill out the patient release form and was told seven days- ten business days by the receptionist with the Afro-ponytail, no explanation or reasoning. I'm not a rocket scientist but I knew for a fact that didn't sound like customary practice, so I asked for the corporate information, she stated" she didn't have the information". Mind you she works there, when her check is funny who does she call for assistance!? Called corporate and they transferred me back to her. She stated, I can take photos of the slides from a computer. I also, asked would it be possible to take them from a computer in the front, she said "yes", I hang up and arrived there totally different story and the reasoning was patient privacy, which is fine but as we head back she utters something to her employee roles her eyes and proceeds to laugh loudly with her coworker, so people who were either coming in or out knew they were referring to me. She's lucky I'm
Not a confrontational person —cause anyone else would have given her a physical, verbal; horizontal workout. Some folks won't allow to carry on for too long before it either gets verbal or even worse. I have too much to lose than argue w/a receptionist about a service I paid for. But I'm glad I won't be coming back. A simple communication would have solved this whole ordeal I had to read the Cybersecurity issue, while I was leaning on the counter waiting to take photos of my X-rays from my phone. Strange world we live but even worse, when people would rather find a reason to label difficult than just communicating the issue.

NO, but when crying voices work together to help spread the word, then change is likely to occur. Leaving a review is good, but what else can be done? Social media is a great place to start. Creating your own Facebook page is free, so why not? There's a contest happening now: $500 grand prize for the best Facebook page about how Aspen Dental hurt you! I'm the founder of this contest. I've worked very hard to try to help people without a voice get heard. I've invested a few thousand dollars of my own money to try to help. Obviously my voice isn't loud enough because look at all of these recent reviews saying the same thing. Over-billing, up selling, doing work needlessly and the unpardonable sin, causing damage to unsuspecting victims in the name of greed. Please stop going to Aspen Dental. How will they suffer any consequences if people continue to enter those blue doors? On Site Jabber they claim they are democrat, but do a quick search, is Aspen Dental a WOKE company to find that no not really. Why more lies TAG (The Aspen Group)? Why is deceit your calling card Robert Fontana?
Also keep in mind ( many) of the kind reviews you read may be bought and paid for. Don't believe me? Do a search to learn just how many companies out there are willing to plant deceptive reviews for a fee. Aspen Dental uses your money to pay for reviews that are intended to deceive. Please stop going to Aspen Dental or else TAG you're it, and don't forget about that FB contest: $500 to the lucky winner! Thank you Site Jabber for allowing real negative reviews on your site. Not many places left like Site Jabber.

Have used the Columbus, GA Aspen office for nearly a decade. The change in office staff is noticable. The most recent issues stem from a failure to communicate on the part of the office staff or provide timely service. Had to wait one week to schedule an appointment due to corporate errors with the account (we resolved directly with corporate as neither Aspen office was helpful). Then get an appointment, only to have only x-rays done and deferred another week in spite of the Aspen office scheduling the appointment for the work that was described. Arrive for scheduled appointment, only to be told they cannot see us because they are short dentists. Then seek to push us further out. When this is protested, we get an appointment for the following day. During all of this, we have an issue with an outstanding debt that is apparently 4 1/2 years old (not paid by insurance) that we were completely unaware of until told, "hey you have a balance due"... and then mumble that it dates back to 2018. Who the hell waits 4 1/2 years to identify that there is an unpaid debt? When I ask to speak with someone about it, I get "deer in the headlights" look and handed a printout of office visit history that I sort through to figure out what insurance paid and what we paid; and, am promised that on the third office visit, nevermind we take off work to make the appointments and would be charged for an office visit if we failed to show up for a scheduled appoint, but no consequences for the office? Three appointments to be seen for the one issue of a filling fix we tried to get fixed weeks ago, wait 1 1/2 hours to still not be seen until I walk out of the office along with at least three other customers with the same issue of not being able to speak with someone about an issue. This office has not been right since Daniel left the office before the pandemic.
