I have Assurance Wireless Schok phone. This phone always drops my calls and every time I call up for a new phone they send me another Schok phone. I know I seen their new phones but I can't get one because they have me down for the Schok phone. If I wanted their new phone I was told it would cost me approximately $150.00. I have been with them for about 20 years and every time my phone goes down they send me another Schok phone and that phone breaks down on me in about a month. To me the Schok phones are lousy!
We need a lawfirm to represent all that have been emotionally abused by the practices of assurance wireless and t mobil they are continuing with the practices that got them a ******* million fine.I want to sue for the emotionnal distress they have caused not to mention the loss of service and complete disregard for the settelment reached with the fcc in 2021.they need to be held accountable.
I had received a letter saying I was eligible for new phone so I called in to claim the phone. Waited 2 weeks for the phone to arrive and nothing. I called in again was told the phone order would be sped up I should receive it immediately. Waited 7 more days called in again and was told I wasn't approved for new phone. Beware they lie and it's pointless trying to get this resolved. If I could rate them 0 I would.
You can't bring your own phone and they will not sell you a phone. You have to take whatever phone they send you and it will be 16 GB ROM if you are lucky it will be 32 GB. If that is enough memory for you and don't care what random brand they send you then your good
Once a week, I have to call customer service to troubleshoot my phone, and this last time, that did no good at all. This service is terrible! Next month, I will have to spend money I do not really have just to get phone service
I call assurance wireless a week ago told them to turn off my service. I can't use the phone to much junk keep downloading and a no good phone wiko. A lady call and left a voice mail message saying if I were still interested in my service being disconnected give them a call, I wouldn't have call in the first place if I didn't want my service off The man I talk to said he was going to take care of that for me, The service is still on. Can someone tell me who is over these people?
I can make+send calls and txts no issues or delays. What I love most is that I can watch the reels on Facebook, Instagram, snap chat etc. and no lag or waiting for loading. Literally this is the best FREE government phone experience I've ever experienced (thank God) and I've been getting my government free phone for about 6 years and have been bouncing from one service to the next for 6 YEARS. Man as long as they keep this up I'm never switching
Trust me I'm an ex employee so I know about their fraudulent ways so you know I need everyone to complain about this company their thief's and saving the customers info and docs to get credit cards and reprocess them without their consent just to activate other phones to sell them. Ask Talin Boho
I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a representative who was troubleshooting issues that I was not having. I explained multiple times my issue and then he stated to hard reset my phone which I told him that wasn't necessary and I didn't want to do that. I asked if that was a to switch my phone service to another phone and he dismissed my question several times. I told him I was not satisfied being that he could not resolve my issue and I will report this on the survey. The representative didn't transfer me to the survey line. This was on purpose! I've talked to many representatives previously and I was transferred to the the survey line every time. The representative did nothing but waste my time.
So so phones, so so connectivity, horrible customer service. I had a distinct sense that i was being shined on when i was talking to customer service. Also been disconnected or hung up on twice while trying to contact these people. I'd say stay away from this company.
Minutes ran out.
Called customer service. Customer service said we would need to apply for a new phone. Once approved we will get a new phone within week ( by Friday).
For the past three months, every Friday, we have the same conversation and still no phone.
Every time we speak to someone we get same script and run around.
Every time we ask to speak to supervisor we get told they will call us within 30min. No supervisor ever calls.
Again still no phone… horrible horrible horrible
I received a new phone when I renewed my service. Within about four weeks the port came out of the phone and was stuck in my charger. I received a new identical replacement phone. The port came out again and ruined another charger. I am canceling this service and using the connectivity funds on another service with my own new phone.
Phone freezes all the time, can barley get service in ten percent of the areas, can't get service in the other 90 percent. Customer service is a joke. Phone is the cheapest piece of dog Dotty there is. They said they would send me an upgraded phone. The idiots sent the the same phone and it is worse than the last one. Go get a rotary dial land line it will be much better than this company. Get a root canal with no novicaine that would be better than this company.
I gave everything they asked for twice the first time they lost all my info and then the 2nd time i got denied, stay away from them because now i have to worry what they will do with all my info they got from me now?
They lied to me twice. I am still waiting for a replacement phone all the while lifeline is paying for a phone service I can't use. I am a disabled senior that is homebound. They are putting me in danger.
Assurance wireless sent me a replacement phone because the original phone they sent me wasn't compatible with the laundry app I needed at my apartment complex. The replacement phone they sent me, the screen keeps getting dark, to where I can barely see anything on the screen. I contacted Assurance wireless a week ago to have the phone replaced, but they told me I would be required to pay a shipping fee of $20.00 for the replacement phone. I explained that I was very low income and was the reason why I chose to become a customer in the first place, and that I couldn't afford the $20.00 shipping fee. They pretty much told me "oh well, no $20.00, no replacement phone". I have been an Assurance wireless customer for around 4 years now, but I guess I'll be looking for a different low income phone service now. Extremely disappointing.
The phone they send is garbage. Screen is horrible and sound quality is subpar.they will tell you that they'll send a new one and just send the same. There is no option to purchase a different one although they will tell you there is.you will not be happy. I promise you
Their options for clients are:
1_ Replace your broken phone with the used one.
2- If you do not like the phone, send it back to them and wait for a period without warranty of time; in addition to calling them from time to time to make sure the phone is available, note that there is no guarantee for a new phone. I mean, you wait for indefinitely time to get a pre-used phone or
3- They will Return your deductable, and continue to use your broken or damaged phone.
In the conclusion either you use the phone they send to you according to thier availability or continue to use your broken phone.

And $ 99 deductable. They don't have my phone type then they sent me a different type phone that was used and without a charger or phone info sheet and when I didn't like it they gave me the options I mentioned earlier.
I can say A Lot but I'm thankful to have free phone services. Unfortunately, I brought a phone from them that didn't work. They sent a replacement (same type phone), SAME PROBLEMS. They didn't allow me to pick my phone, they just sent me a Shock. Now that I need another replacement I'm getting the run around, the customer service crew lie to me constantly, and when I asked to speak with management, they transferred me to T-mobile! It's been 40 minutes. I've been on hold for 34 of those minutes. All I want is a tracking number to my 3rd new phone that was supposed to be here by now.
The service is pretty bad. I will go 2 hours without notifications then I'll make a call and all of a sudden I'll get 10 notifications that I shouldve gotten hours ago.
The phone is horrible. Extremely laggy and low response. When I'm on the phone people cant hear me unless I hold the phone a certain way.
Right now it says i have no service. I cant send texts but i can make calls. I turned wifi on and it then said i had service but i couldnt send texts still and the wifi wouldnt even work.
I am switching to safelink wireless in a few days where I can use my own phone. There are literally dozens of issues every day with my phone and service. I guess I should be thankful because it's all free. But I do not recommend

Answer: No they only have 1 phone, a UMX. They don't work you can't even call Costomer Service with it.
