Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

In the last 24 hours, I have been on hold for 2 hours with these people. They were supposed to come to my house in a two hour window and never showed up. Turns out they cancelled and refunded me and didn't even notify me as I was patiently waiting on them to arrive at my house. None of the representatives (I have spoken with 3 in the last 24 hours) sound like they know what they're talking about nor do they seem like they even listen to what I am trying to explain. It is the most inefficient and annoying company I have ever had to deal with. If you can afford it just buy a new phone because the amount of time I have wasted with this company is absolutely ridiculous.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that even though the scratches on my screen from months ago were caused by my own negligence, they were still covered. I brought my phone in and in a matter of hours it was given to me like brand new even the back which I had not asked for.

Worth the $ for peace of mind. I bought the plan for an air rifle. It broke and Asurion sent me an Amazon gift card for another one; awesome!
Had one minor glitch. When I went through the initial process I got a denial "not covered," It was an issue with the registration I was told by the chat agent. So…if you get a denial just open up the chat. Once I did that it was easy as pie; and who doesn't like pie.

While I'm unsure about using Asurion, where the value:$ ratio doesn't seem to even out personally, I highly appreciated and recommend their service team! She was wonderful!

Tip for consumers:
It seemed like a good idea initially, however monthly costs vs. claim prices ratio may not feel good overall. I believe we could've found local mechanics to fix our electronics for the same cost as the service fees without paying a monthly fee as well. Hope this helps!

I have used Asurion for many years more from Home Depot, Verizon Wireless too many more. They have been so fast to get things fixed. To the best of their ability that is. They don't always have control over a repairman. But they fixed that problem fast. This last situation was not like them at all.

I brought my phone due to degradation of the battery. I thought I'd have to wait a day since I brought it at around 6pm and they close at 7. The place was hidden away in the back and once I found it, I quickly realized what a hidden little gem this was. They replaced my battery with genuine OEM parts and guaranteed it for a full 60-day return if not satisfied. They had my phone ready in 18 minutes! I was so pleased. Definitely will take all my devices to them!

He was courteous and called to inform me that he was May be running late but that didn't happen…he was right on time! It was quick and easy and my phone looks great! I felt terrible after he left my home because I realized I didn't at least offer a tip (not sure this is allowed) but he definitely deserved one!

I purchased two electric bicycles from $#*!'s Sporting Goods. Bicycles typically require maintenance, so I purchased an Asurion two-year protection plan for each bicycle. One of the bicycles had an issue with its brakes being very noisy. The other bicycle got a flat inner tube in its rear tire. Filing a claim required jumping through hoops to send images of: 1) the sales receipt for the protection plan, 2) the sales receipt for the bicycle, 3) the serial number plate of the bicycle, the front and back of the bicycle showing any damage or documenting the problem. Both claims were immediately denied, saying the issues were not covered by the protection plans. The plan brochures specifically mention coverage for defects in workmanship and materials and inner tube replacement. I will be cancelling both plans and seeking a refund. Don't be fooled. These plans are garbage.

Asurian promised my replacement
phone on a Monday. Wednesday night 9pm...still no phone! I called them about some kind of compensation for staying home for 3 days waiting for the replacement *229.00 deductible phone and talked to Brie who was rude and unhelpful. They blamed FedEx. It was supposed to be OVERNIGHT Shipping. 3 days later...no phone

When you call asurion (*******248), hold times range from 30-45 minutes. Even if you ask for a manager in customer service, the guy I dealt with has no idea what customer service is. I had to ask him to call me back and when he never did 10 days later, I called again. The first warranty claim I had, my laptop came back missing screws in the back, or the screws were only screen half way in. This warranty company is the worst.

Problem after problem just trying to delay and scam you every chance they get. 1 to 3 business days they said it's been two weeks and my new phone hasn't left the other side of the country. But if I don't return my broken phone on 4 days they will charge me 450.

This is a typical trash insurance company. They do anything they can to delay your claim. They treat everyone like a criminal. Hold times are crazy. There procedure is meant to delay delay delay. There customer service reps will hang up on you. Oh and good luck with the survey. When you try to leave one, the system hangs up on you. We have about 60 lines insured with them. We cancelled all insurance after this experience.

The Colombian lady that handled my case was laughing all the time, I cannot believe her lack of seriousness during her work hours.
Not only she laughed the whole time I was with her on the phone but also started to ask personal questions about me and it made me feel very uncomfortable.

Everything else went great from claiming the file to going into the store and employee was very polite and easy to talk to, but after picking up my son's phone we found out shortly after that the screen issue he was having with the phone was not resolved and we couldn't go back right away as we were headed out of town for Thanksgiving. Now we have to go through this again.

Just say no. You will pay $9.00 per month and when your screen needs fixed, you will have to drive 1.5 hours away and wait 2 hours for the repair for a total of 5 hours of your life you will never get back. *****Better yet, they will schedule a mobile repair and cancel on you 3 times without any reason***** Lastly they offer you the total phone replacement which costs 200 dollars. Real sorry sir... Nasty uncaring customer service
