Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
I received a total of two telephones and neither one I could be heard when talking. I'm pretty certain that I'll be taken care of properly and accordingly.
We have called about 5 times and they either always hang up our calls or they make us wait forever and never come back on the call, it's the worst customer service ever. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this insurance plan unless you want bad service.
Entered the store called UBreakIFix in Tulsa. Met with very kind and knowledgeable staff. I thought my phone was doomed but these guys are miracle workers. Fast service. Just dropped off, went to late breakfast and hit a store or two and it was ready! Thank you!
I pay a montly premium fee and also paid $230 for my phone to get here same day or next day. Because they didn't ship it out on time, its coming in two days. Their customer support was less than helpful. Just another company gouging money out of customers.
Although when scheduling for the initial service call, they wouldn't narrow down a time frame. Tech did call to let me know when he could be at my house. Courteous, knowledgeable and even fixed a problem that was overlooked by another service company ( several times)

The GE washer purchased 4 plus years ago developed bad bearing noise a job that wouldn't be worth fixing but having the extended warranty made it worth fixing.The technician was fast and had it fixed in an hour nice to have 39 years of experience under your belt if I blinked I might of missed him. Than you Asurion!

Bought a new phone last night and the salesman was not helpful in user info. Got into tech coach this morning and Armonie was wonderful. He walked me through setting up home screens, finding old text conversations, and new icons. I feel so much better about my purchase now.
My grandaughters keyboard stopped working. I made a claim expecting to be hassled for an hour. Instead, your return/claim process was so easy and fast. Keep up the great customer service. It was a pleasure dealing with Edward.
I purchased an air mattress and also purchased protection for it thru asurion. My air mattress had a small leak which continued to get worse. I submitted a claim for it and it was so simple to do. They took care of everything. They're sending UPS to come pick up the defective mattress and they're covering the shipping cost. Once they receive it back, they'll send me an electronic gift card to replace it. It was very easy to do.
I was really skeptical about whether or not Asurion would be able to repair my 2010 model Mac Book Pro, but they went above and beyond. They even replaced the battery, which I hadn't even mentioned as being a problem. My 12 year old laptop is working like new again!
I have few devices needing service lately (literally like jinxed or something, lol) and Asurion has been there for my account with good service and explanations of it all, in btwn stressful dates (holidays, short staff everywhere a days, etc., etc.,) anything but a BIG Thank you!
Great customer service with Maricris, filed my claim in less than 5 minutes answered all my questions. I purchased the asurion plan never thought I would have to use it, but so far it's legitimate, remember always insurance your investments.
I purchased the new Samsung Gallaxy Z Fold 4. Brought it home, followed all the directions to transfer information, data, texts, calendar, emails, etc. from my Samsung S9+ using a corded tether. All went well - except I could make calls out. Facebook and other apps were working fine. I called Verizon Tech support and was give a fabulous representative who had great knowledge, patience, customer service and a sense of humor. After sending several chat messages back and forth - she finally figured out the problem, I followed her lead and boom - made my 1st phone call. Wonderful. An overall great experience. Thank you Verizon.
9/29 I called to get my replacement activated I was phone for about 30 minutes was late for work and was lied to was told the system was having an update and it will be activated in 15 minutes never did (9/30 I called and kept getting hung up on the text app was a waste of time for a bit because it would direct me to a dead end., finally 30 minutes after., John came into my life and in 6 minutes took care of everything I was starting to feel disappointed but John did such a fast and amazing job. Thank you John you where great 20 out of 10 simply outstanding
After a few years our electric piano needed repairs from mishandling. Asurion protection plan cover all the repairs completely. The costumer service was super pleasant, extremely kind, they made my many calls easy to handle.
I lost my Fold 4, expected a massive hassle, but far from it! GET INSURANCE! And dont lose sight of your $2000 phone, that also helps...but not as much as Asurion's customer service! Thanks again Sabrina!
My experience with Asurion was a very smooth process. My phone was damaged and I called to see what options I had and they really made it a great experience. After explaining what happened to my phone, they immediately took my information and told me that I was covered and would receive a new phone. To my surprise it only took a short period of time and I received a new updated phone the next day. I really appreciate the help and support

Insurance is supposed to be able to act as a safeguard against catastrophe, however, with Asurion's policies you will always come out behind. The deductible will always be higher than purchasing the same refurb phone directly from the handset maker. Also, don't get fooled by $29 screen repairs. The water proof phones require the back glass be fully intact (to maintain the water proof quality), though that is specifically considered out of pocket. This means even the repair option is a lose-lose for the consumer.
Take your $10 per month (or whatever you are paying to insure the phone) and self-insure by putting it into your savings account. In two years, that's $250, which is a helluva chunk toward your next new toy.
Terrible customer service. They don't understand the concept of speed. They aren't knowledgeable of previous conversions that you may have had with other agent throughout the week. I'm not sure why amazon or At&t would choose them for insurance.
Cancelled my applecare to move to insurance with Verizon. Device is damaged and they wont replace or repair it. The worst experience ever. Make you jump through hoops. Will never deal with this company again. Better off having no insurance.

If you have children & grandchildren, having a protection plan is a must. I purchased a protection plan after purchasing game consoles for my twin grandchildren. After a few months, one got wet and became disabled. One quick chat with Asurion and my worries were over! Repair, labor and shipping all free! It's worth the purchase!
The worst experience of my life. Spent 4 hours being transferred from different representatives. Needed to explain issue to all of them, without any record of my case! Finally got to someone that could help me and they still sent me the wrong phone twice!

Don't waste your money, they reschedule every appointment they set up. Each reschedule is 2 weeks out. Over and over. I've had this plan for 5 years and I've been unhappy the entire time. I'm cancelling my plan with asurion. It would be cheaper and more convenient to just pay for a new screen out of pocket. Worst I Durance type plan I've ever had. If you sign up for this after seeing that they have 1.7% satisfied customers, you are asking for it. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I wish I could give zero stars.
I bought Asurion plan a 13 months ago, when I purchase 75" TV via Amazon. So glad I did! Just after manufacture warranty expired, screen experienced problems. Now Asurion has scheduled a Tech visit for the same week. Fast, and Asurion is doing exactly what they said they would do. No gotchas, gimmicks, or grief.
Denise is a skilled, patient, and helpful advisor, who helped me install VPN on my phone this evening. She made the experience painless and uncomplicated. Three cheers for the Verizon tech team.
