Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

I am an extremely happy customer with Asurion. I had issues with a printer that I purchased, and I am happy that I chose Asurion as my insurance protection. I did not have any issues with receiving my insurance claim nor filing my insurance claim. I will definitely use Asurion in the future.

My son broke his Nintendo switch joy stick after 2 hours been on the phone no repair I canceled my account. Scamers I was a member for a year don't waste you money the joy stick is only 8 dollar in Amazon.

$#*!s Sporting Goods sold me the Asurin insurance stating it would cover a baseball bat when my child out grew bat. That is not false. They won't cover it. They wouldn't even cover wear and tear on current bat either. Rip off

Called asurion to file a claim. They claim that my passcode doesn't work but when in the att store it worked. They reset my passcode 3 times with not being able to submit my claim because I have a unified account. They also hung up on me. They also keep transferring me around to att to reset my passcode. Eventually you just get frustrated and hang up. I spent hours on the phone and still didn't get a claim submitted.

So this is the 2nd time in the last few years I have had to use My insurance to replace my phone and both times the rebuilt phone I get is an absolute piece of $#*!. Very slow and I have to restart it daily. On top of that there was a $230 deductible. When the Bluetooth connects in my truck it says the previous owners name on the screen. I have been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years and I pay $120 a month for 1 phone and I don't have unlimited data. My girlfriend has smart talk and pays less then $50 a month and has unlimited data and much better service so guess what Verizon, you just lost a long time customer. Pretty sad that they offer much better deals and options to brand new customers and the loyal customers that have been with them for 20 years literally gets screwed

I purchase the Heyo.Ja Portable Baby Playard, 4 in 1 Pack and Play for my granddaughter, back in November 2022. She used it five times, and the handrail broke. I spoke to the customer service rep. And was told the refund would go back to the card I used to buy the product. Instead, I received a gift card for $188. I called Asurion, who informed me they could not do anything about this. If you purchase a product with your credit card, the refund should go back to that card unless you request a gift card. If they do not have the information for the credit card, ask, and I can provide it. What will I do with this gift card? I WANT my money back. These companies are ripping people off. In this day and time, companies like Asurion need to get with the time and be flexible. You can't tell me you do not have the option to send my money back any other way besides a gift card. That is not what I used to purchase my products. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER! Will not use them again.

I don't know how they have such high reviews. They denied a laptop claim for the battery, no explanation. Also they are denying a claim for a PS5 controller because they don't have a clear picture of the serial number. I can't get a clear picture. It's tiny, silver and in between the handles. I have called twice, filled out their forms 4 times, sent in the requested pictures twice and given them all of the numbers they requested 4 times but they still can't process it? This is a scam. Clearly they will deny claims and keep requesting information no matter how many times you provide the information so they can blame you for not following their policies and they can justify not processing the claim. I worked in insurance for 12 years. This is a very obvious tactic.

Absolute crap company. Have been fighting for 2 months to get my playstation fixed.

The guys couldn't fix it, actually broke it more, now instead of getting a full buyback I'm only getting $350 when you made it unusable!

I started with one broken USB port, After two months of sending it to your hub and them saying it is fine I brought it to a local shop and watched them open it.

The local shop verified the previous repair destroyed my playstation, it looked like the inside was hit with a hammer. $#*!ing horrible company, DO NOT USE THEM!

We purchased an office chair at Staples and were told that Asurion would cover almost anything that could happen to the chair, including pet damage, so we purchased the 2 year plan. 1 year in, our cat decided to scratch the chair and we decided to see if the salesperson was lying and tried to get another product. The claim process was very simple, just keep your receipt, take pictures of your product, upload them to the site, and viola! It took 2 days! Definitely recommend this to everyone!

I was recently enjoying a wonderful cruise vacation. On the return to port my phone was stolen from the ladies restroom. I realized I didn't have it about five minutes after my friend and I left the restroom. We hurried back to get it from a shelf in a stall, and it was already gone. We went to guest services to report it missing, but no one turned it in before we got back to port. I made several stops at guest services but nothing turned up. The only good thing was that I had insurance that replaced my loss. If you don't have your phone insured I highly recommend that you consider doing that.

This company is not insurance. It's a replacement program. Where most companies would insure your device and help you repair it, they will only replace it. If you want to keep your device or have your device repaired, that's an out-of-pocket cost only. Also - don't take it to their Asurion UBreakIFix store... that is also out-of-pocket. The only option you have is to replace your phone. If you want to fix it vs. getting some refurbished phone through the mail, check out a company like Upsie or others who are actual insurance.

Tip for consumers:
Don't get an Asurion policy through your carrier - get it through a third party like Upsie... otherwise a phone you need to repair 30 days after buying it can be replaced with a year old refurbished piece of sh*t

Absolute waste of thousands of dollars over the past 8 years! Tried to file a claim and got stuck in "groundhog day" filing the same thing day after day and not moving forward. Then, so frustrated, couldn't wait any longer, so just went and got a new phone. It was a total waste of money and time with asurion!
