Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I went to the verizon store to activate my sim card on my new phone. I had to wait a bit, and the guy there tapped a bit on my phone and told me that it would take some time and it would work. I got all the way back home before my phone told me it couldn't activate. I really didn't want to drive all the way back, so i tried customer support without expecting much.

Bought an expensive vacuum cleaner from Sears which came with a warranty; also bought Asurion coverage which was to kick in once the Sears warranty expired. The hose broke in just three months, Sears wouldn't honor their warranty. Called Asurion, explained that Sears was being awful about this, and Asurion replaced the broken hose even though they weren't yet obligated. Months later the vacuum power switch broke. Called Asurion, quickly got friendly service and a return label, and the repaired vacuum came back in about a week. I highly recommend Asurion, not so much Sears, and even less the vacuum cleaners that are being made today.
Within seconds of my text I received confirmation that it had been received. A UPS shipping label & free UPS pickup of my printer followed. Upon their receipt & verification of my printer I received a check. I couldn't be happier that I spent the money for the insurance. Highly recommend it!
It was an extreme pain to file a simple claim online. I couldn't do it online and I had to spend valuable time to chat with someone. After finally submitting the claim with the agent, He made me go to UPS store to return the defective item. My time is valuable. I have to spend time and gas to drive to UPS and return the item. If this is how Asurion plans work, this is the worst, simply horrible!
If they get hold of your email you will never be able to stop their spam. After the first click on the unsubscribe on the link, the link will not work again and they will keep spamming you every 2 to 3 days. Even if you call them or write to them, they will not remove you from their spam. I have ask them over and over again and they keep refusing.

Frank did a great job. He was very professional and friendly. He told me right away if the phone could be fixed or if i needed a new phone. I was super busy the day I damaged my phone (I burnt the screen) and knowing my options ritght away was very helpful to me. He fixed my phone the same day and that was very convenient.
I was told I would receive a replacement phone on the same day on Saturday 7-9pm. I waited at home. It did not arrive. I was told it would come the next day by courier on Sunday, between 5-7pm, or I could choose Fed-Ex on Monday. I chose Sunday. I waited at home again. It did not come. I called, and they said, they did not show any information about it arriving Sunday, but they would put the order in and have it an expedited to me on Tuesday!?! What?
I asked why they could not have it to me Monday by Fed Ex? They said, they only have UPS, and do not have Fed Ex… and my only option was to get it Tuesday by UPS - after I was told, I would receive it Saturday. They also did not have any management available to discuss the situation further. If I could give zero stars I would!

It would’ve been helpful to know, they are not honest. They told me, my replacement phone would be delivered same day… now it’s 4 days later.

Went to an AT&T store as it opened at noon. Advised to file the claim quickly so that I could have it fixed today. Did so and was directed to a repair center near by. Walked in at 2:00pm and was home by 2:45pm.
The insurance phones they provide you with are glitchy reassembled phones. The process to file a claim is easy but the phones they send you are terrible. The one they sent me quit working after a week and they sent me another one that now constantly glitches every time I use it.
The process to claim for my iPhone was very efficient, rapid and without "red-tape"

I was dreading this phone fix but your team in Midtown East by Grand Central in NYC (I believe his name is Jonathan) was absolutely fantastic. He made sure I understood the process comfortably and made the whole experience so seamless.
I bought a desk chair from Staples and bought the insurance which was thru Asurion. 3 weeks before the insurance expired, the chair broke. I was expecting the process of dealing with the I surance company to be long and drawn out. I was so surprised when I called Asurion. The rep was super helpful. The process went so fast and in a 2 day.period, I received my virtual gift card to replace the chair. So easy.
When I logged onto the Asurion website to file a claim for my lost Google Pixel 6a phone, I expected a somewhat long online experience, and having to go from one window to another. But NOT with Asurion. The online experience with Asurion was a quick and easy experience. Asurion is #1 and ready to assist and help. Thank you Asurion.

There really are no tips to offer others except to just follow the online process that Asurion asks. Asurion is a very user friendly website to navigate.

Google Pixel 6a android phone from AT&T. The phone was lost (and probably stolen), and AT&T agreed to send me a replacement after paying my deductible. AT&T was (and is) reasonable.
It would have been nice if they'd have shown up after I took time off work to be there. Not even so much as a phone call to assure me that they'd be there... then they NEVER SHOWED UP AT ALL. I called the dispatcher and she was the most unsympathetic person you could imagine! The repair was scheduled between 1-5 PM, I called at 5:30 to ask if they were on their way, she said yes. I called again at 7:00 and she said they'd be there at 8:00, at 8:30 I gave up.

My daughters tablet broke, so I sent it in to get fixed I had waited for about 3 months just for a response and I never got one I had to call them up several times. They hung up on me over 40 times, and I legit am not joking. They finally after forever of waiting they just said to me that they couldn't fix product and that they would call me about giving me my money back for the product. They never called on the dates we scheduled, and they emailed me, and cause I don't like emails I didn't check it. So they wouldn't pick up their phone, were completely rude and didn't even send me my item back or the money that they said they would, and then they tried to accuse me of not being responsible enough for my own product. So honestly I would recommend you to not trust them and spend your time elsewhere.
I am having a nightmare experience with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I received a replacement from insurance. Due to multiple malfunctions on my iPhone 12, I couldn't get my data transferred. She stayed on the chat with me for a very long time. She figured to what was causing me problems. Shebremained kind and caring throughout the long ordeal.
Summer resolved my issues quickly and easily. She answered all of my questions knowledgably. I'm so grateful she was here to help me, even at 8pm on a Friday. If you ever need help, you should hope to get someone as friendly and as fantastic as Summer! Thank you!
Logged into asurion webpage and chose to "chat" with someone to process my claim. She was very effiecient. Asurion will send a prepaid shipping label so I can return my defective product, then they will issue a refund after receiving the defective product.
So this is an initial review assuming they follow through with the label and refund
If you file a claim they will do everything they can to get you to drop the claim, they will deny the claim without real reason and not be forthcoming in fixing it they will tell you the deductable is $99 and charge more for service and bs. They really suck. For good phone insurance get a good AMEX card and use it to auto pay, if it is a high enough up the line card you will be covered. These guys suck.

do not waste your money, if you have a high end AMEX card coverage might be included.

I was frustrated why I could no longer retrieve my voice messages. Anthony in tech service helped me with resetting my network and voicemail as well as reseting my pin. Within 30 minutes my issue was resolved. Anthony was patient while I performed the necessary steps on my end.
CSR L was very calm n thorough. I was a bit fried due to heat. N bummed old A51 up and fried daughter board, no comms :(. . CSR was Xtra nice in coming up with a time saving backup setup process. 11/10!
The repairman stuck it out to the end. I thought the soap dispenser wasn't opening, so the dishes were not getting clean. He replaced the board and that didn't solve the problem, so he replaced the dispenser. That still didn't solve it. So I had finally noticed that it wasn't completing a cycle. It would shut down. When the repairman and I were talking while it was running it shut off, so then he knew what the problem was and the mother board had to be replaced. That solved the problem.
I was quite frustrated trying to go through the website and find my product, Apple AirPods. I could not find them anywhere and I searched through most of the site.
When I clicked on the chat now button, I was able to talk to a person quickly and he was able to help me with my claim! Plus he was a lot of fun to talk to!
My Android phone yes I said Android! Love my droid! Lol! I could not use my phone by finger touch had to use my styllus or S-pen to operate. While I looked dashing and sophisticated it was annoying. I did drop phone previously but that was months ago. I took my phone to At&t they worked up a ticket and directed me to a local shop, "UbreakIFix," store. Met TJ, he was all smiles asked what was wrong, got my order form and said come back in an hour to hour and a half. I returned in two hours to a phone fixed, my one Crack gone, and new battery. Good as new. Service was phenomenal and I would highly recommend to anyone that need a phone fixed. TJ was polite and knowledgeable.
I brought my HP PC into Ausrion to have the battery repalced. They insisted they needed the password in order to do the repair. I would not give it to them but did allow them to replace the battery whcih took two weeks. Piece of crap service. The replacement battery would only charge to 51%. So I brought the PC into Best Buy. BestBuy was able to to open BIOS with out providing password. Asuion wanted password to my PC which had way too much financial information on it. Best Buy created a new user account and completely repaired my PC. Asurion was a complete and total rip off!
