Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
My son-in-law is on my ATT account. He bought a new phone, got the Asurion insurance. The phone slide of the seat of the truck just a day later and cracked up. He filed the claim on line. They then claimed they needed my photo ID since I was the account holder. We uploaded that to them. This went on 5 times. First they would say they didn't get the upload, or it was fuzzy, resubmit, etc. I sent a certified signed return receipt with all the info. My daughter called about it. They claim my photo was not with it. It was. They canceled the claim. This was because I also sent with it I was filing a claim with the attorney general of Oregon. Of course ATT can do nothing about it.
I was very happy with my experience dealing with an issue getting my printer to be recognized on my Wifi network by the technician, Norman. I actually spoke to him twice and both times he worked diligently to resolve the issue, and it was not a quick solution. After going through rebooting the router and diagnosing the printer driver installation he worked for an additional twenty or so minutes to figure out why the printer wasn't working. It really reinforced why I bought this additional warranty, truthfully I thought it was a waste of money but JUST IN CASE, I used a little caution that was well worth the $49.
Had the best person helping me out setting up my phone. The person that helped needs a promotion for sure deserves it
After discussions with an Asurion claim rep they relayed that that the only thing they really cover for structural damage is the screen. The back of my wifes phone had been cracked and they related they could not fix it. They later related that we could submit a requesst to replace it but only after the damage caused the phone to malfunction. They only offered that option relunctly with of course a significant deductible. Do not get the Verizon sponsored Asurion insurance, it is far too expensive for the service it porvides, unless of course you plan on losing you phone. I will never purchase this insurance again.

If your looking for a good insurance to protect any and all devices and other Electronics then look no further, Asurions customer care friendliness and attentiveness is better than any other insurance I have used, and their self service system to file your own claim is also very easy to navigate through, I highly recommend them.
This experience was an absolute nightmare. I noticed on 1/2/24 that my screen had somehow popped out of the right side of the phone. It wasn't dropped, scratched, or cracked but the battery wouldn't hold a charge and kept turning off. I was told it was more than likely a battery issue. I had to pay $99 to get a refurbished phone when I did absolutely nothing wrong to this brand new Iphone that is barely 6 months old. When the phone arrived, there weren't any clear instructions in or on the box that showed me clearly how to get the refurbished new device set up and working. I had to call the customer service number and spoke to about 4 or 5 other people who all told me different things on how to activate the phone! At one point both phones were in SOS and i couldn't make any calls. Imagine if i lived alone and didn't have access to another phone to call the customer service number again! Then as i try to get it working, i'm constantly interrogated about getting the device protection plan and then they all have the nerve to ask me why I don't want it. It would have been much less stressful to go through apple. I actually had to reach out to THEIR customer service and they were able to help me more than Asurion.
I was unable to resolve my problem at Staples store in Olean NY, I was glad I found a phone number to call for assistance. That ended up in the Philippines, but the man who helped me, got my refund in 10 days, took care of our problem. I still think the store could have replaced the chair in house, took me awhile to solve this problem, but DONE.

Walked intelligently at the counter when I was experience with my phone screen not working or being responsive to the touch she asked if I had insurance and told her yes she gave me a quote I got a claim number I brought the claim number back in the process started to fix my phone and walked out with a new screen
Mine worked for a year or so. Then tried to pump my tire up. It worked for 5 minutes then it quit! That was it! GOOD THING I BOUGHT THE 3 YEAR ONE!

Love that the replacement was delivered to my home in a few hours by a rep named Angelo and he set it up and was in and out in less than 15 minutes.
Cracked screen repair between 9 and 11 1230 still no show. Call and I'm told they are not coming because nobody came to work all the tech got drunk the night before and forgot where they worked

HAVING TO DOWNLOAD THE CLAIM FORM IS VERY OLD, THIS FORM SHOULD BE ABLE TO FILL OUT ONLINE AND IF I AM ALREADY IN MY ACCOUNT, TAKE MY DATA BASICS. NAME, TELEPHONE. EMAIL AND CLAIM NUMBER. I CAN ADD THE PRODUCT INFORMATION. IT IS A VERY OUTDATED PROCESS AS THEY HAVE IT RIGHT NOW AND MORE BEING A TECHNOLOGY SERVICE
