Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.

Asurion exceeded my expectations! During the first report call to Asurion regarding my Home Depot Whirlpool dryer 5-year extended warranty, I explained potentially faulty parts had been installed by another warranty repair company for my dryer (heating element and cut-off fuse), which had failed after only a couple of months. Rather than wasting time with an initial diagnostic visit by a tech to confirm my suspected diagnosis, Asurion immediately "next-day" shipped the implicated machine parts in anticipation of the tech service call, which had been expedited by Asurion only a couple of days out. The tech was extremely professional, confirmed that my suspected diagnosis was correct and installed the already shipped parts on the spot so that only one service visit was required to enable me to use my broken dryer in a matter of days after failure rather than weeks! I was extremely impressed by the associates in the Asurion call center who logged my complaint, pre-ordered the broken machine parts and scheduled the service call on an expedited basis, as well as the professionalism of Asurion's technical experts who completed the repairs onsite. Great job Asurion!

Fire destroyed my phone, and all my IDs, and they wouldn't verify my ID any other way, so that was a 2 week wait. After, I received my ID resumed my claim, NO ONE ASKED FOR MY ID.

They sent me a new phone, with a screen cover that was clearly not designed for the phone (smaller, not centered, and had bubbles in it). Had to dig through the rubble to find my burned phone to return it, then they called me and said they needed me to return the phone. I checked my tracking number and it had been delivered a day before, do they not have the tracking number, because I had to read it to them. Took plenty of pics and video of dropping the phone off, because I know how these kinds of businesses work.

All in all, I got a phone, but worst experience ever.

Tip for consumers:
Document everything, and take a picture of your ID front and back NOW for use if it is lost, stolen or destroyed.

So I bought I Google Pixel 2XL. I know. A long time ago. As soon as I got it I smashed it and paid the deductible. Why? Because I wanted Asurion to be responsible for it not Verizon. Now here is the key. Every 9 months I call Asurion and report the phone doesn't charge any longer. They sent me a new 2XL. 9 months later they send a new 3XL. 9 months later they send another new 3XL. 9 months later they send a brand new Galaxy S10 plus. 9 months later another Galaxy S10 plus. 9 months later they get tired of me doing this and told me to go buy whatever phone I wanted and they would reimburse me cash. Now I have a brand new Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5G when I originally started out with a Pixel 2XL and guess what? I didn't have to return the Galaxy S10. It's all about how you go about it.

I originally tried to file a warranty claim but the phone was returned, and I was charged $1000.00 for the refurbished replacement. I then was told that I needed to file an insurance claim. I was then told I couldn't return the replacement phone because it had been more than 30 days which was not the case. After talking to another person I was finally able to get the label to return the replacement. Phone. I then had to call another number for the insurance claim. I stayed on the phone with those people for another 2 hours trying to upload items and file the claim. I was told I was going to receive a return label for the insurance claim. Have YET TO RECEIVE IT. I was on the phone from10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Then was held hostage asking me to pay more money for insurance for items in home, Give me a Break!

I got disconnected from the first 1 but he was very help full. But the second one was super amazing they took care of all my phone needs they could! They are a real trooper.!Wish I had them every time!
My phone now reads 5G, I know how to access my HULU, DISNEY+, and ESPN. My hotspot has also returned. My account won't let me in but the TECH BOSS took care of leaving a message for the LEVEL 2 TECH'S.

I hope their just as good but I won't hold my breath a Gifty is most likely hard act to follow! Both techs deserve a bonus -

I was told on 8-25-23 that reimbursement check was processed, and I had to wait 10 business days to get my check. I called on 9-8 and was told I had to wait 15 business days for my check. I called on 9-14 and I was told my check was processed on -9-6. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me the check hadn't been approved because it was over $3k. I have been lied to so many times by this company they are running a scam and trying to stall on payments. Now I'm being told I have to wait until tomorrow to get a notice of it being approved. I asked why not today and I was told the accounting department can only be contacted by email but are very responsive. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I will be notifying the BBB.

Sent sound bar in for service on Nov 14th, was received on Nov 16th. No updates until Nov 23rd with a email asking how your service was. Had to go on line and chat with Medy who had to do a lot of research to find out what was going on with my sound bar as there were no notes. Found that my sound bar could not be repaired and they were issuing a refund for the sound bar. Which is great, but instead of me sitting here waiting on info or delivery of my repaired sound bar, sitting on chat for about 30 minutes, a little reach out by customer service would have meant a lot. Very poor customer service.

This has been the worst company to deal with for cracked screen repair. I have now had a cracked screen for over 3 weeks. The technician that they scheduled to come out and repair the phone has called right before or during the time of the scheduled appointment to tell me that they don't have the part in stock. This has happened four times. They don't even offer to reschedule the appointments themselves when the part is available. That takes another call to Asurion. There is no communication between the technicians and Asurion for parts availability. I finally got feed up and had Asurion direct me to a store to get it fixed. The store did not have the part in stock either. So here I am paying a monthly fee for insurance that does absolutely nothing for me. They will not send me a replacement device without paying the full $200 deductible instead of the $29 cracked screen deductible. I will no longer use this company due to their poor customer service. Please look elsewhere for insurance.

Been with them for over one year. Laptop broke. Made a claim for the laptop. Rejected because "the product in your claim is not covered by your plan." I called in to find out why, they said that there was a mistake on their end and I need to resubmit the claim and assured me I would be covered.

They reopened the form and I filled out the claim again. It spit out a rejection once again, same reason. I forgot about the insurance and it kept charging my account. About 5 months later I called in to cancel my service, they looked into my claim from 5 months ago and said they will get it sorted and my laptop will be repaired. They sent me the form again. I filled out the form. Received rejection letter. Immediately called to cancel service. Customer rep said to give them 4 days and they will reopen the claim FOR THE FOURTH TIME. I said not thanks, all they were doing is giving me runarounds with assurances that it'll go through and I'll get my laptop fixed, but alas, nothing. Nearly $324 thrown out into the wind. I have all conversations recorded (allowed in Texas) and screenshots/emails of every rejection.

Customer since 11/07/2021, cancelled today 11/25/2022
