Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
When purchasing a phone from any provider. PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT USE ASURION as there insurance carrier. Asurion and there representatives will lie on the spot when you are making your claim. Asurion will "assure" you that your phone will be overnighted to you but that's a lie. Took my phone 4 days to get here. Bottom line they take you money as fast as possible then the emails of your phone being on back order or delayed start coming in. ( This is a business line i have being with sprint for over 20 years, which is why i could not nor should have being lied too)
I sent my Samsung S20 5G for repair as the charging port crapped out & received 6 emails to call. I called 3 times, only to hear the back of my phone was cracked, and it was $29 for the repair, which was *not* the case when i sent it in. 2nd phone call same thing. 3rd phone call, i was told it wasn't repairable & it was $279 for replacement I think the repair techs damaged my phone & were trying to blame it on me. I have multiple medical issues including Fibromyalgia, anxiety& depression, which goes into a feedback loop & my emotions hit all together, so i end up melting down, crying with lots of anger for 3 hours while i dealt with this situation on Friday & today
Great experiance with tech michele she was very knowledgeable and friendly, she understood my issues and was egar tto help, sge was a good salesman and tryed her hardest to get me to sign up for added protection but at this time i am not able to add any to my budget
She showed up within the arrival window was clear about the repair time and was very friendly overall, which made me comfortable having someone come to my home for repair.
This service is excellent. The technician that came to my home was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. A forward thinking company that brings the repair shop to busy, working families.
I have AT&T as a cell phone provider and I have about 8 devices on my account. When a phone is lost, cracked or water damaged I am never in a hurry because I know Asurion is AMAZING! We get a phone shipped ASAP and receive it and less than 3 days! I have never had an issue with Asurion and would recommend them 100% all the time.

I callex on a saturday lost my phone as of today tuesday they still dont know when i would have it says its on backorder who fought is it i pays my iinsurance every month

You pay your premiums for Asurion Home+, submit the required information and they deny the claim, it's not covered. I went up the chain to supervisors and it was useless.

Filing a claim was so easy and took less than 5 minutes to complete. I was already stressed over my damaged phone and this made me feel so much better.
The only thing I had issues with was choosing the month this incident started. It just stayed at October did not give me the option to select a different month.

After filing the actual claim and getting our repair appointment, our experience was great. Tech who showed up were kind, polite, and knowledgeable. Gave us useful information about our appliances.
Called them about a broken phone through Verizon. Filed a claim and was told my phone was backordered and that I had to wait 3-5 business days. After 5 business days, I called and asked about a comparable device. I was offered a comparable device and was told I had to submit a new claim in order to get the device. When my new claim went through I was told the device was still on back order, that they had no comparable devices available and that since my claim was dated for that day, I had to once again wait the 3-5 business days on the backorder. Absolutely horrible customer service and will likely be canceling my device insurance through Verizon
James, Asurion tech in the Independence AT&T Store, went above and beyond to help get our broken screen repaired VERY quickly and efficiently! We were grateful for his understanding and ability to fix the phone the same day we took it in for repair.

Do not buy there water heater extended warranty. It states it covers parts and labor for repairs or replacement. On water heater failed and Rheem provided excellent support and authorized replacement. Asurion on the other hand did not arrange contractor for replacement installation and provided instructions for us to be reimbursed. We complied with instructions but when the bill was submitted in include uninstall of defective unit, return to retailer to obtain replacement unit, and parts and labor for reinstall of new unit. The only paid for reinstall although obviously the reinstall was impossible without uninstalling and returning the defective unit. We were never informed of this until 60 days after submission of claim and multiple promises for full compensation.
Tip for consumers:
Don,t buy it. You'll be told all you have to is buy and if a failure occurs call the 800# and they will do the rest including contacting manufacturer for authorization, arranging contractor for repairs or replacement, and cover parts and labor. That is not true- they only obtain authorization, ask you to find and pay the contractor and then reimburse partial labor expenses and not all parts..
