Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
Almost at the end of my warranty, and it was so easy. I just called and they sent the label and will send an amount equal to full cost when they receive.
Francisco and Carolina were excellent. They arrived on time and were very efficient. They cleaned up any mess they made from drilling new holes for our microwave. I would highly recommend them.

Having the insurance through DirecTV has been worth it I Effortlessly replaced 2 laptops. Now when I came down to trying to replace or fix the 2 TV's that I have it's been a little difficult but I will say that each agent that I have spoken with is very friendly and helpful.
After scheduling a repair for broken back glass of a business phone waiting 3 days day of scheduled repair they said they didnt have the parts and new repair would take place 6 days later. Unacceptable for a business phone so I called just to be informed they "can't do" back screen repair and wanted to charge me for a full replacement that I would have to wait days to receive. Was able to locate a local shop located inside of Walmart that was able to repair back glass. How a small store like that can repair what an insurance claim company cannot with in a few hours is beyond me. Over 4 hours on the phone trying to find resolution and being willing to drive to one of their stores for repair only to hear they want to charge for a full replacement. They will not cover the cost of the repairs so I am paying out of pocket. Their service is so completely inept I may change phone providers to a company that doesn't use them for insurance claims. Would give 0 stars if it was an available option.
Tip for consumers:
Save the money on their insurance because they don't cover and can't repair your device in a timely fashion. NEVER Again.

If I could give them a zero I would. We pay for Asurion insurance and had a cracked screen on our iPad. Besides it taking hours on the phone to get the replacements the first replacement came and didn't charge. Then I had to go through the process to get it replaced, the lady said just take the current box to the Postal Service With return to sender, and they'll take it back. I said how could that be it's in a FedEx label. Sure enough the lady was wrong and I went to three places to get a FedEx box returned. From there we get the second replacement, it also doesn't charge. But it doesn't charge because the plug that they provided with the replacement doesn't work. When I called to have the plug replaced they offered me a $25 gift card as a goodwill. The $25 does not cover the hours of time I've had to deal with this issue. So now I have a plug that doesn't work for an iPad, the replacement cost is much more than their $25 certificate and I also had to pay the $275 replacement fee for the refurbished iPad they sent me. Pathetic time waste, and they don't guarantee anything but the device and you may have to send the device back because they don't check it.

I am in disbelief I had my phone break and they are replacing it for me with same day delivery. Now that is service that is hard to beat! Recommend 100% to everyone in need of a replacement phone.
I was in the hospital. The nurse pulled my table tray away from my bed and my phone was plugged in. It hit the floor and broke the hing phone wouldn't fold and the screen separated. Went to ATT they put in my calim and I had a new phone 2. Days later. The hospital. Agreed to pay me back for my $275 Co pay. KEEP YOUR INSUR.
Not only are their deductibles high but you have to jump through hoops to get everything done. I'd rather stab myself in the eye than ever have to deal with these stupid mother $#*!ers ever again.

When I first heard about this insurers I wasn't too clear about it but I realized how important it was when everything started breaking down and I had forgotten that this insurance was going to cover me it has took care of me far and beyond very thankful
Don't expect ANYTHING for the premium you pay to have this insurance. IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE. There employees are polite and courteous but have all the canned answered memorized to a "T". They obviously use the same answers all day long. I will say they must pay there employees well for them to stay.

I used my warranty with asurion to get a phone replaced and they 1st sent me a phone with a damaged motherboard on top of that they left out my apt # when I specifically told them what it was so I had to wait on my phone then when I had them to send another phone I called 3 days straight to make sure they put the apt # on it and they lied everyday like they got it and did the same thing again so now I got to wait again on my phone

I am a first responder for an emergency plumbing department. I had my date extended for sending in my old broken phone due to me wanting pictures of my new born son back to my new phone. Verizon was no help during covid 19 and denied to help me even if I gave them both phones to transfer the stuff. Asurion flat out doesn't care about any of this covid 19 pandemic going on and took 300 out of my account with out notifying me, email, text, or call. That money was for groceries for my family and you $#*!ing scumbags took it. I highly highly DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THESE PEOPLE! They are all crooks and litteraly have the worst customer service there is. Jennifer is no help and the supervisor laqueefa was no help at all either blatantly told me its not there problem
