Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.

Once I got the correct ink from cricket I had the phone ordered in maybe 7 minutes and if I had been prepared with my card it wouldn't of even been 7 minutes lol cricket needs to address the fact there's 2 links, under cracked screen it takes u to the manufacturers warranty and ur denied and don't know why or why u got insurance just to be denied, bonus to Asurion but Cricket come on step it up lol

I pay for insurance monthly and with Verizon for 19 years. I just tried to use it for my i-Phone11 one of the camera lenses is scratched it's a $12 little glass sticker. They will not fix it they said they can only replace it for $239! DISCRACEFUL! The insurance is called "Total Phone Coverage" this is a lie! Do a Google search for a class action lawsuit. DO NOT USE ASURION

I filed a claim on my daughter's iPhone. The screen was broken with pieces missing and the display would not come on. They told me to take it to a T-Mobile store to have the display replaced and I was told to take it back because they could not repair it and contact Asurion again for a replacement device.

So I was on the phone making a new claim and mid way through the process the person on the phone went into a 20 minute sales pitch about get total home coverage. I told him I was not interested in this so began to end the call and I asked him about the claim he said it was completed and that I would receive an email about when the new phone would be delivered to the store for me to pick up.

Guess what he closed the claim and there was no record of my call.

I called them again to restart the claim and Asurion the protection plan that I am paying for is having me file the claim through Apple and I have to start the whole process over again. This is junk and I will never, ever get this warranty protection again.

I recommend that you stay as far away as possible from these scam artists.

These people are horrible! I have been getting the run around about a phone that's been paid for and has yet to be returned to me. I haven't even received tracking and they have a different like EVERY DAY EVEN THE SUPERVISOR!

We have been Directv customers, with this protection plan, for more than 20 years. I believe we may have had less than 9 claims during that time. The last 2 were the most unsatisfying but eventually did come to a resolve. We had hoped to get a replacement television, for our most current claim, as it was deemed unrepairable, that unfortunately never happened. We were told that November is a bad month to do this as their vendors are actively clearing their shelves of older stock and prepping for "the holidays". That made sense until it didn't. Are vendors tossing this stuff? We debated on a buyout amount and eventually settled on a price. Once the check arrives we will hope we are able to locate a replacement unit within that dollar amount. Overall, if you stay on top of what is going on with your claim, take notes and follow up, this plan is great to have for the cost. Of all those that I have interacted with, and there have been many, there was just one CSR that was a negative, other than that, great people helping people. You get what you give in all situations, ask questions when you're not sure of what's being explained to you. It doesn't hurt to learn something new each day. Thank you Asurion and Directv!

Purchased insurance on my cell phone I bought from Amazon Jan 2020. Glass cracked on phone. Reported it to asurion. Was told that I would receive my choice of check or e-card when asurion received broken phone. Not the way it worked in past as they would send new phone so data could be changed from old to new and then you sent broken phone to asurion. Asurion rep said method had changed. So I bought a $1000 phone on my credit card, transferred data to new phone and sent broken one to asurion. In a few days I got an e-card for Amazon by email. Called asurion and told associate that I needed check instead to pay off credit card. The associate told me nothing was showing on her end and I should call back 4 or 5 days later and someone would be glad to change reimbursement method to check. Did as she said and 5 days later was told e-card had already been issued so it could not be changed. Spoke to supervisor who said same. I told her I had written asurion corporate office and had not got an answer. I had started to report them to the BBB but their site said to call her asurion number first. That I would follow up with corporate and I would then follow up with BBB complaint. She then said she would call me back but could make no promises. Be aware asurion lies about their product. Be aware if you get asurion insurance on products purchased through Amazon your insurance reimbursement will be an amazon e-card. I pais over $100 for asurion insurance over $100 in processing fee, and when the phone broke I got an Amazon gift card.
