Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
New phone, wouldn't send pics/ stickers in text. Tried everything I could think of, couldn't get it to work.

I purchased the smart care Asurion plan for my phone, payed for about 12 months at $15 CAD/Month. I recently lost my cell phone, had to pay $200 for a replacement on a $500 phone, making the insurance more of a payment plan than anything. I had to order the phone to the hotel where I'm staying for work, 10 hours away from my home, I had been given an email stating it would take 1-2 business day and up to 10 in rural areas, and that the phone had shipped, however i had to spend 30 minutes on the phone to get a trackin number. 5 days later (after the weekend) I called Purolator to check the status and was informed that only a shipping label had been created and the package had not been dropped off to the courier. I spent hours on the phone to move the process along with customer service as the online account had been quite problematic and unhelpful; each time I'd get through I was told that I would recieve an email on the status but was also told that the package was shipped and delivered. In a day and a half I will be driving 10 hours home to return from a work shift, and my phone has not been shipped, it's already been 3 business days. If i had know the inconvenience of the insurance process i would have simple opted out and drove 2 hours to my providers nearest store and purchased a new phone. Now i have payed the company $380 waited almost a week, and I am still without a phone, needing to spend hours calling in to check the status, likely having to update the shipping address. All the while being without a work phone, something that I need in my line of work. Very unimpressed.

Replacement phone they sent (from warranty) had a damaged USB port out of the box, and I didn't care enough to send it back. Months later, the replacement phone stops charging (I had to always charge wirelessly with the pad) after the screen just randomly turned black. I tried accessing a debug mode or BIOS screen, but the device wouldn't respond. I call to get a replacement (I was told by one representative it would be free of charge) for the replacement and then I'm told by the next representative the warranty doesn't apply because of a single crack in the corner of the screen; the phone arrived with a defect and now has stopped working entirely. But one crack (been there for months btw) overshadows all of that other information. Completely asinine.
Oh, and the website locked me out twice (no reason given, just a generic error-type screen) which is why I had to call in the first place.
I'd give zero stars but the first customer service woman did try to console and sympathize (while also trying to loop me into some additional warranties, lol).
The only thing I can say about him amazing,his voice was soft,in least the 2 hours my phone was ready
I bought twin beds from Fingerhut but the warranty through Asurion big mistake after trying to get a replacement for one of the beds I was given the runaround and asked to send receipts and pictures repeatedly through upload but they're upload site did not work so I sent pictures in through email and each time I sent what they asked for they sent another email letting me know that it was not what they needed when all was said and done they said they closed my case when I spoke to the supervisor she was no help at all so basically I bought a 3-year warranty on two beds that they refused to give me anything for this is the worst company that I've ever dealt with and I would steer clear of them if I were you

Asurion has been great at covering my cameras which I use often. With frequent use, unfortunately, comes frequent damage but the Asurion plan offered through Amazon has me covered.
My television without on Friday Night. I call asurion on Saturday morning. I had a brand new replacement television Monday before noon. Thank you asurion for your prompt response.
Asurion is a terrible company, they send you refurbished phones that don't work. They just send you anything just to get your money. I would not recommend them anyone.

My experience was very fast and efficient. I was able to complete the information through answering all of the questions required to file a claim for my broken phone
On their website they say if we can't fix your iPad we will replace your iPad or reimburse. I was told in person that I would get the same iPad or newer since they couldn't fix it. I even confirmed that online with the chat 24/7 they have. Today I get an email not asking me which iPad do I want but instead a low offer as reimbursement. I called and talked to four different men. All of them talked to me like a robot and was very unhelpful. They said they can't replace my iPad just reimburse. I was told I have the option but neither of them would do anything to help just keep telling me they can't replace my iPad. If you can't replace my iPad then don't $#*!ING advertise that you will. I would never refer anyone to this insurance company unless u want to lose and waste money. In conclusion, my iPad wasn't fixed and it wasn't replaced. I regret not getting Apple care and using this cheap service who just is out there to take your money and not do what they advertise. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

They are selling you the promise that if you lose or break your phone you can get one in 1-2 days easy.
You pay $15 a month on this promise but as soon as you actually need the service you will learn that THE WHOLE PROCESS IS MORE LIKE 1-2 WEEKS OR NEVER.
You need to constantly call them everyday for an entire week not knowing if you would actually get a phone when you need it! If you call them they will keep asking you to file a claim, refile a claim, wait 3 hours over email. DAYS WILL PASS DOING THIS. They don't care, they just want your money.
I placed my claim on Saturday approximately 1pm. I was told a rep. Would come to my house from 5pm-7pm on the same day to deliver a phone and setup it up. At 655pm I called to get an update and they tell me that they could not get a phone to me today, (they didn't bother to call or email me advising the same so I was waiting the whole time for nothing), when I asked how were they going to rectify the situation they said the only thing they can do is ship me a phone on Monday. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Zella my claim representative said none were available and nothing can be done. When she transferred me over to complete my claim and do a survey as soon as I pressed one to complete the survey and let them know about their unacceptable service the phone conveniently hung up and I wasn't able to complete the delivery of the phone to my house or the survey. This is one of the worst company experiences that I've had and will not recommend anyone do business with them.

I am a Verizon rep and I recently had to come into contact with Asurion regarding an issue with a Verizon customer. I was connected with a rep who was the worst rep I have ever dealt with. I have called Asurion on multiple times because of issues regarding customers claims. So I understand whats a good rep when I get connected. While for the first time, I was connected with a terrible rep. I asked him, "if there is anyway to approved the claim faster so we could get the customer a working phone." He goes, "are you sure you want to ask that question". He was a sassy rep who doesn't care for the customers. He then proceeded to tell me it's a different department. I totally understand if it's a different department. I asked him to transfer me. Gave me the exact response as before of are you sure you want to ask that. So much sass on this rep. He deserves to get look at and hopefully loses his job. I lastly asked for a supervisor and he then gave me his favorite response. He declined then put me on hold. I have been holding for over 30 minutes now. This rep deserves to be looked and you will understand he should be fired.

I broke my phone on the 17th and they gave me hell just to make sure the phone was on my account. For 1 they had my information connected to another persons account when i told them this the lady was very rude and disrespectful and continued to ask me the name on my account. After i told her this 30 extra times she rudely put me on hold then hung up. 2. after days they finally tell me they are sending out my device, took my $240 and then cancelled my order and now they won't answer the phone or send my money back. ABSOLUTELYTHE WORST INSURANCE EVER. I WILL NEVER GO THROUGH THESE LOSERS AGAIN.
