Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I expected the run around when I found out our gaming system was not repairable but that was not the case. I feel like Asurion is a no brainer for families with kids.
Asurion honored my warranty I bought with my laptop. No issues. They did a great job. Ive bought plenty policies. I have never filed a claim until now. And, they are very fair.
The professional rep rang my doorbell at the date and time I chose, and I handed over my phone. Minutes later I had a phone is new condition. It couldn't have been easier or more convenient!
Called asurion today to WASTE 30 MINUTES of my life answering 300 questions. Then wasted another 30 MINUTES of my life talking to a rude Asian I could hardly understand asking me the EXACT same 300 questions I already answered, She then hung up on me without a callback. $#*! Have had the lousy worthless Asurion insurance on my phone for over 1 yr
I submitted a claim to get my cracked but working screen fixed. The technician never showed up for the first appointment to fix my phone. After I rescheduled the technician did show up and installed a new screen onto my phone. New screen did not work and he had broken the screen he took off. They sent me a brand new phone but since the screen on my old phone didn't work I could not transfer any of my data. There was an issue with the iCloud back up. I was on the phone with them for around three hours trying to get this issue resolved and all they could tell me was I'm sorry. I took the phone to a friend of mine who worked on phones. He took the screen off and discovered that the technician never even plugged in the screen and it actually worked just fine. So thankfully I was able to transfer my data before I had to send my old phone back. I will be canceling my insurance with them. I have Paid $35 a month for two phones for about three years now. I could've save myself a lot of travel and just bought a new phone instead of having a technician break my phone even worse than it was and mess up a new screen install.
The turnaround was swift and snooth. My overall experience was a good one. Am glad I signed up for this service, and each time I get a phone I will consider getting asurion.
I had purchased lighting that was only covered by a short warrant. I bought the Asurion plan for coverage for an additional 4 years and I am so glad that I did. Imwill continue doing so.
It was easy to submit my documentation, and instead of what I expected - which was some excuse and a rejection - I got approval and a gift card the next day! Couldn't be happier with my experience.
Horrible! I have called 3 times about my replacement that was ordered on April 23 with delivery on April 24th 1st call they said it was at UPS. I CALLED UPS. THEY NEVER RECEIVED IT. Called asurion back to be told OPPPS ITS STILL HERE YOU WILL HAVE IT TOMORROW. Today now April 27th checked my tracking and item still hasn't shipped. Left on hold 27 minutes with more lies of where my replacement is. They tried to tell me my address didn't match what they have on file.? I screenshot the confirmation email and yes the address matches.
Absolutely ridiculous service.

I cracked my screen on my Galaxie S10+ and a tech came to my place of work and replaced the screen within 30 minutes. He was very professional and polite. Thank you for the great service.
I couldn't figure out how to set my husband's phone to show battery level with a digital number like my phone. Tech Coach Mario Emily showed me how to do this talking me through the steps.

The worst experience I ever had putting in a claim. I started my claim on a Monday after all my documents where sent in over and over again.
Finally on a Wednesday the Docs get approved... so thats 3 days, after all of this they tell me my Zflip 5g is back ordered even thou if I go to Samsung site they would gladly sell me another. The back order they say is 3-5 days, buy can't guarantee that. So they expect me to go weeks without a phone. So I went out and bought an razr when my Flip finally arrives it will be sold and pay off Samsung direct. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY ANYTHING SAMSUNG

Extremely unprofessional. I bought a printer from Staples and it broke. Great, I called Asurion and they told me to send it in. I did. 2 weeks later, I get no updates on my package being delivered. I called them back and they tell me that they'll mark it as lost and will get back to me 10 days later with my refund. I did not get anything and I am still in contact with them to find out more about my claim. They NOW tell me that the department that handles lost items from USPS is opened until 6pm EASTERN TIME. I am from California and I called at 2:30pm from where I'm from. If they told me sooner then I wouldn't have an issue but no one told me anything until they tried to push the blame off them. They could not help me with anything and made me wait weeks after weeks for NO update still. As of 02/14/23, I have no updates on my return.
Gabriel A and Thomas (*******) from the Claim Review Department were no help at all. DO NOT BUY FROM ANY COMPANY THAT HAS ASURION INSURANCE.

I cracked my phone screen. It wasn't horrible but I like to watch my shows on my phone so I wanted to get it repaired. I had the warranty protection and it only cost about $40 plus tip to have them fix my screen. The man came to my house and did the job outside and I was very happy with the service except for one thing. My home button got very hard to use. Sometimes it worked perfectly and other times it was hard to press down – but nothing that I couldn't work with and I didn't want report that the technician did an inferior job. However, it eventually got to the point where clicking the home button became very difficult so I called Asurion to say I was having a problem since my screen was repaired- I was told I had a one year warranty with the repair. As it turns out, the stuck home button is not part of the warranty. I would have to pay $189 to have them fix that problem. I tried to explain that the problem was a direct result of having my screen repaired but the agent said she couldn't do anything about it. I tried to argue the point to no avail. I will be sure to always go with another warranty company over a Asurion in the future. I will cancel my total home protection under Verizon that uses Asurion – but I feel I'm stuck with it for other things. It is just very frustrating and I am very upset.

Very efficient. I walked in at 5:50PM. The gentleman was very helpful and told me come back at 6:50PM. When I got there my phone was ready and waiting for me to pick it up.
They have fixed or replaced a few items for me. The process has always been easy and fast.
I initiated a claim with Asurion on 12/12/23 due to the loss of my phone. The initial process of setting up the claim was efficient, giving me a positive outlook. However, my experience quickly took a turn for the worse.
After paying a $275 deductible, I expected my replacement phone to be delivered promptly as advertised on the site with free same-day delivery between 7-9 pm. Unfortunately, no delivery was made, and upon contacting Asurion, I was informed that they lacked the necessary resources for delivery. It's worth noting that reaching Asurion's customer service took considerable time, with waiting periods ranging from 1-2 hours.
Fast forward, I was promised another phone to be delivered two days later due to a lack of stock, contradicting their initial explanation. When I finally received the replacement, I encountered issues during activation. Several hours were spent bouncing between Verizon and Asurion, neither party taking ownership of the problem. The revelation that Asurion sent me a phone on a "Non-Pay List" only added to my frustration. Another replacement was deemed necessary, leading to an additional 3-4 days of waiting.
What's truly disheartening is Asurion's lack of quality assurance when sending out replacement phones. Even more surprising, they attempted to sell me additional insurance for my home devices despite their glaring service shortcomings.
This entire ordeal has caused significant mental and emotional distress, affecting my ability to sleep. The prolonged hours on hold have etched the hold music into my mind, creating a nauseating feeling at the mere thought of it.
Asurion, it's imperative that you address these issues promptly and improve your service quality. The impact on your customers is profound, and there's a clear need for better communication and quality control in your processes.
