Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
This is my 3rd go 'round with this unit. I has been "repaired" twice before, starting around 2018. Then again in 2020. Same issue and a WELL KNOWN DEFECT with Samsung ice makers. While I love the refrigerator and it performs very well, the "every couple of days" removing the ice tub and knocking out the cubes "glued" to the sidewall of the unit gets old. I had a REV A unit, replaced by a REV D circuit board to no avail. This repair last week involved Samsung sending all new parts in an IceMaker repair kit (food grade silicone sealer not included). I've followed the development of the complaint process on YouTube and the media, and noted numerous "how to" repairs and suggestions. The Tech from Asurion was VERY knowledgable about a tech service bulletin concerning ice maker inlet tube placement. He also moved the unit out from the wall with a very unique air cushion system that "floated" the fridge from it's space. He defrosted the unit, then troubleshooted the fridge, even though the failure seemed "obvious". Nonetheless, he explained the repair step-by-step, since I'm one of those guys who likes to observe and learn. Didn't spill a drop of water on the floor during the process, got everything sealed (he brought his own silicone to "complete the job"), floated the fridge in place, and bid be farewell. Unit has been soldiering along flawlessly for the last 6 days. I just hope the new circuit board, the sealing of the compartment, the hose resetting, and the new intact tub do the trick. A perfect job.

I had the worst time in the first place getting my broken phone replaced it took three trips to mobile klinik a repair shop. Each time Asurion has provided mobile klinik with incorrect information. 1) my name, 2) my imei # 3) the make of my phone. This meant I had to make three separate trips to mobile klinik to get my original phone repaired wasted 12 hours of my life or more and it ended up being so frustrated that I bit the bullet and just paid the $450 deductible to have a refurbished mailed to me.
Ever since I received the replacement phone my apps have been malfunctioning, but I naively chalked it up to Carona virus and the various apps IT's being hindered for time, so I didn't report.
The problem continued to get worse until now my phone is having hardware issues. When I called Asurion to let them know the replacement phone they had provided me with was malfunctioning they informed me that because I hadn't reported 90 days after I received the phone they won't be replacing this one on warranty. So I'm faced with either living with it, or biting the bullet again and spending another $450 on a deductable to have them send me another refurbished phone which most likely will be just as messed up as this one anyways. And FYI you only get up to two replacements. So that would be my last kick at the can.
These guys are alone balls they don't save you a dime they rob you, 9$ a month and $450 to replace a phone. I'll never touch Asurion again
Tip for consumers:
Report any little thing that could be wrong with your replacement phone the minute it happens to Asurion, otherwise they'll just throw you into the trash like they did with me.

Maurice was on time, polite and did a great job! The repair was done right in our driveway and didn't take long at all.
I would give a -100+ if i was able too. 6/30/22 sent my device in, received it back not all problems were fixed. 7/22/22 sent my device in again, received it back and USB still doesn't work. 1/8/23 sent my device in, received it back and am even more disappointed. I received two pieces of papers; one stating they inspected and repaired and it passed all diagnostic tests and is now working correctly and another inside the laptop saying they did not get my log in info so they didn't test it. How is that possible, I wrote the log in info on the paper sent with my device and had it taped to the keyboard. Now that my device is back, it doesn't turn on!... at all!. It looks like they must have dropped it because there is some damage in each of the corners of the device that wasn't there when I sent it to them and trusted they would take care of it. Every time I call, they act like they have no clue whats going on and are very rude an unhelpful. This is the worst insurance company ever. At this point issue me a check for the item and I can purchase another one. ASURION GETS A NEGTAVE -100+ FOR MY REVIEW.
How do I start on July 18th, 2021 my appointment was scheduled for 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm eastern timezone. I had to call Aurison a total of three-time to get to the point where I had to reschedule my phone repair, due to not receiving any calls from the tech nor Asurion to see have the tech arrive at my address. Finally got an email for today repair schedule timeframe was set 1:00-3:00 eastern time someone from Asurion finally decide to call me and see have the tech arrive and the answer is no again at 4:01 pm and Customer Service Tech not going to say her name finally decided to look for other options for me could've been done the second call to Aurison to schedule me to do a walk-in to get this small repair done that's not even worth 29 dollars worth of repair. I feel like someone in upper management could fix it where I don't have to pay to get a small ding is what I call it where the screen chipped a little piece of glass where the screen protector won't cover the whole screen on iPhone 11 Pro Max. I'm not pleased with this and still have to pay for a repair that no one ever attempted to come on last Sunday to fix my screen and today is Sunday so anything after 3 eastern times I tech is gone for the rest of the day keep in mind today is Sunday so who works late no one. Please explore my options for future customers if something deals with your device which someone should've got an understanding skill to a person having to stay at home more than three hours to not even get the service they pay for every single month fixed. I highly don't recommend Asurion!
Got my replacement phone, shipped my old one back. Somewhere in transit, the phone is lost. I get charged the additional $400 fee though. I'm told I'm the one that has to start a trace with Purolator. I have to prove it was an issue with the shipping company THEY chose and set up everything with. Once I have it proved it was lost in transit, they tell me that I have to fill a claim for it and then they will refund me. I can't afford this. My mental health can't deal with the horrible customer service. Human robots just repeating the same one liner policy. No one talking to me like an actual human being who is struggling. BUT. I file a partial claim with Purolator as I have to again speak with this phone company to demand the shipping paperwork that I don't have so I can complete this claim. Purolator emails me the next day saying that I can't actually file a claim because it is ASURION's OWN POLICY with Purolator that no one but themselves can file a claim outside of the company. Absolute insanity. I have promptly cancelled any payments to them through my cell phone company. Waiting 8-10 business days while I'm reviewed for a refund. Funny thing. I called yesterday when I had to demand the paperwork and they said they sent a request higher up that would take up to 48 hours to be reviewed. When I called today after receiving the Purolator email I was already all of a sudden being reviewed for a refund. At some point, Purolator contacted Asurion about my claim and their policy and they realized what they had been making me do was incorrect. They didn't call me. Just set my status to "pending refund" after everything they put me through. I will be going out of my way to my story.

I was told before I send my phone the most orders were completed within five businesses and you would have it back, that they would send me a loaner phone of equal value. That was a lie. I was repeatably directed towards your website for information regarding my phone after 7 days the website still has no information regarding them receiving my phone. Today to find out what was going on with my phone they've now had my phone 7 days I was told they would at least five more days to fix the phone and ship it back. I asked to talk to supervisor I didn't cuss raise my voice I was hung up on three times. I can understand technical difficulty on one or two times. After I got off the phone with him I received a call telling me that my phone was had been finished and it's prior to the agreement I should have sent back my phone if I didn't do it now I'd be charged they still have my phone. Nobody know why it's going to take what will be a total of almost 12 business days. I did even get answered as to why I got the voicemail to return the loner phone. I also didn't get an answer as to why I was sent a cheap phone

This company is a scam. I don't think they want to pay the claims. They charge you a monthly fee, then a higher than the normal deductible, and they give the run around for the claim. I put in the claim when I don't get and a response, I call to find that the claim was on hold. Why didn't they say anything, send an email stating we received your claim and it is on hold for whatever the reason, just communicate it so that I would not be waiting around. So I call and find out that they require an affidavit to be filled out and a copy of my id. When I inquire why they need this when I pay my overprice premium every month with my bill and get the runaround. Once I complete everything and send it back I am told it could take up to 24 hours to be approved. APPROVED for what? And the customer service is just dumbfounded they can't say anything but I'm sorry. I don't think they want to pay the claims, it is so much like right that the premium and deductible is quite sufficient for an old refurbished phone. BTW, I really blame the carriers. They take on this company and allow their customers to be scammed, cheated, and giving the runaround and expect the consumer to be satisfied. NO, I am satisfied when I get what I paid for, an issuance company that delivers and this one isnt it.
