I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!
I received a total of two telephones and neither one I could be heard when talking. I'm pretty certain that I'll be taken care of properly and accordingly.

Asurion has a lot of good reviews but not so much for my case. I dropped a jack handle on my iPhone X and after being mad at myself and disappointed I remembered having this insurance on my phone. I filled out the online claim form and paid my $250 deductible and within a few days had what looked like a new device.
After restoring my backup and returning my broken phone I was online and working again. Within a day or two the replacement phone volume would turn its self all the way down while you were using it causing me to miss incoming calls.
I received the second replacement phone and again it cosmetically looked great however within a week or so it began powering itself off and on at random times. I called for technical support and was asked to reset all the settings on the phone and if the problem remained to then factory reset the phone and see if the problem remains with one any apps on it. I did as instructed and the problem persisted so I called back only to be transferred to four different people none of whom had any knowledge of my issues, despite having a trouble ticketing system, so I had to start from scratch each time. One of the four people wanted me to pay an additional $49!
Finally reached someone who was rude and acted as though she was doing me a favor but did ship a third phone. We'll see how that one works.
I would in no way recommend this company! It appears that they do not do sufficient testing of their replacement devices. Calling them is extremely frustrating in that they do not annotate your account with details (even though I asked them to do so) so that those details are available to the next representative you speak with. I have spent hours trying to get back to a working device, online, on the phone, restoring backups, troubleshooting, repeating myself over and over……..

This is boarder line an actual scam. Would not recommend to an enemy. Called to make a claim and after 2-3 hours back and forth because each rep couldn't answer simple question - I was approved. They said you'd here back in three days ("it's our service promise). I callled after a week of nothing and was told because we didn't deliver our promise we will replace the fridge. Three days later I got a call from a random guy saying he was coming to fix my fridge. So again, I called a ausrion and was told they changed their mind, which was fine. I just wanted my fridge fixed. Then the guy comes out and I'm told by asurion you will receive an email because they needed to by parts. Again, a week past and so I call. Oh they are only fixing part of the claim after the supervisor spexifically said that since the claim was approved it included everything, needless to say never once was I told that they were only fixing part of the fridge. Then the supervisor told me "yes, a lot of misscommunication and false promises, but there's nothing I can do because that other part we should have never told you we would fix"… keep in mind this is after I pay a monthly fee and $99 just for them to come take a look. My theory is they tell you they will fix everything so they can collect your $99 bucks then give you the bad news later.

Saturday Oct 1 Dropped off an item, was told diagnosis would be done that day or or that Monday which was great due to son birthday was Wednesday got called. Monday and was told price which I was ok with and was also told it would be done by end of business day or Tuesday still ok because had time before birthday. Wait game no communication from them wait all Monday all Tuesday still nothing call Wednesday the 5th to be told it would be done by Monday the 10th no call Monday no text but there have it on there computer yet first text came through for the ok of price and now to the 11 nothing from them call and after called 12th 10:40am they said it been done since the 5th then got text 3:07pm on the 12th saying it ready for pick up. Ok I get there and im not happy by no means to tell my son he can have his present. Anyways I get there guy goes in back and bring item to me full of glue no pride or care and looked at me like its how I brought it, unprofessional. People came in and asked me about this place. I am glad they asked me for a review so i gave them it that came in the walked as I would have. If u could give no stars I would.

Asurion sent me a replacement iphone xms256. I set it up and all looked well but when I made a call I could barely hear the person I called unless I put them on speaker phone. I texted with an asurion tech person which is what you do because you can not get a person to speak with. We went through all the setting then but nothing work so the tech person said to erase the phone and restore it which I did. But it still had the same problem. The next asurion tech person went through all the settings and said the phone must be defective. I was connected with someone to have them send a replacement phone but they said the replacement phone which did not work had to go through the warranty dept. They transferred me, I was on hold 47 minutes butwhen connected to the warrantee dept. they said they had to connect me to the business dept. When connected to the business dept which actually was just another repair tech who said I had to go through the insurance dept which is where I started. Invest into your electronic devices insurance. You will need it and it makes solving issues a lot easier.
They did a good job finally on fixing my phone it only took them four months to finally show me how to login to the insurance that I pay 40 a month for good job AT&T.

Set an appointment for 5pm-7pm 3 days away. Tech no shows so call and get an eta of 1 hour. Tech shows to house at 8:40pm and finally finishes service at 9:15pm. Not very good customer service!
