I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!
I received a total of two telephones and neither one I could be heard when talking. I'm pretty certain that I'll be taken care of properly and accordingly.
I have a warranty through ATT and when my daughters phone screen became glitchy I called them to use my warranty. She has an iPhone XR 128GB. I called to warranty it. Asurion was great to work with initially. When the phone came, to teach accountability, I had my daughter do the data swap to the new phone. The new phone said it couldnt transfer over all the data. She and my wife tried a couple times. Our lives are very busy and very rarely are we all together. Yesterday I made my daughter take both phones to ATT and have them do it and she found out that Asurion sent a phone with 1/2 the storage of her current phone! It had space!
Now the nightmare begins:
I call Asurion and tell them they sent the wrong phone. I said my daughter can't transfer over data and just found out that I paid a $200 deductible for 1/2 the phone! Asurion says because it's been over 30 days they won't do anything. THEY WONT DO ANYTHING! They pawned it off on ATT and Apple who both won't do anything because they aren't involved.
Never have I ever dealt with a company that will charge some mine, send the wrong product and not admit their mistake and fix the issue. I didn't receive a comparable phone, which is what I thought I paid for.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASURION

I put my claim very easy by 10:00pm online. They gave me a new phone the next day was very fast. I really recommend it.
If you need a repair to your phone in a timely manner, you want the process to be easy to manage and within your budget... Asurion is the way to go!

I started my claim online, had to submit my ID for verification, website said I had to wait for review, I then had to resubmit my ID at which point I got stuck in a perpetual loop on the website and kept resubmiting my ID, I then called support at which point the operator acknowledged the website loop and apologized, the operator tool all my information and assured me I would have my phone in 2-3 days and told me to disregard any email about submitting my ID. I ended up having to call because I tried tracking my phone and the website told me to wait for review again...I knew something was wrong. I called the service line, and asurion was waiting on me to decide what color I wanted, because the color of my original phone wasn't available, if I hadn't called to inquire about my phone it would never have arrived, I still don't have my phone yet. I hate that I pay for this service and it's such a terrible service, asurion doesn't care about the quality of service they provide they just want the monthly premium.
Tip for consumers:
The website is relatively difficult to navigate, no site map. When I was submitting my identification for verification, I ended up in a constant loop where I would submit my ID pictures and then the page would load back to the begining....I uploaded multiple ID photos, because the website would loop back to the beginning of the process, before I called the service line, and they save every photo attempt...so now they have multiple pictures of my drivers license as well as passport picture.

Mailed it in and got it back within 2 weeks. Upon arrival it honestly feels like I got a brand new phone! Highly satisfied with the experience.
