I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!

I had to file a claim for an item I had purchased. I attempted to do this online, but I had an issue. I was connected with Asurion's chat service immediately, and everything was settled in less than ten minutes.
How easy it was to file a claim. Box coming in 5 days. Repair and return within 10 days. How wonderful this company is!
I just read that Asurion sends refurbished, badly, devices to those whose claims they fulfill. They denied my damage claim on my iPad because it wasnt on the Verizon network that day. I was on 2 planes that day flying to Africa. IPad was off most of the day. Anyhow i mostly use wifi and not cellular data so usually not on the Verizon network. The screen got cracked while it was in my carry on. Seems to me it would be cheaper for them to cover me getting a new screen rather than a whole badly refurbished device. Anyhow Verizon said they'd pay for the repair and refund my premiums. No one at Verizon knew Asurion could deny a claim because of no network usage.
