Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I had my iPhone screen busted by clumsiness. I filed the claim through AT&T, and within 10 minutes of submitting it, while I was looking for the phone number to call about an appointment, the Asurion rep from the location I was assigned called ME to see if I could make it down that evening, as they had time to do my repairs. That is great service! If that was all it was, I would have been happy, but there is more! The rep I met with was pleasant and professional, joking with me about my clumsiness and the state of the screen. He estimated about 40 minutes to fix the device, which was wrong - it was 35 minutes. He explained everything as we went through the process, and had a great attitude. It would have been much less satisfying if he DIDN'T have a sense of humor.
I didn't have a phone to call to active my new phone. But thru the help of my iPad i was to active my phone with the help of Avery. Thank you for this easy process.

I have been with AT@T since I was 15yrs old. Any problems I have had it's was solved. I needed a replacement phone and it was delivered in 2days.
My 8 yr old dropped her iPad and broke the screen. We had her a protection plan with Asurion and their customer service agent MariaCristina got our claim filed in no time.

I've had one claim in 4 years and they are reviewing my claim for 24hours before they approve it. Scam artist! They want to send me a new phone upgrade that's not truly an upgrade to save them money over fixing my phone.
Tip for consumers:
They need to be under review, to take customers money for a length of time and then try to do what is cheapest for them and not what’s best for the customer is not right. I don’t want to be bothered with them or AT & T they’ve had us on the phone for 6 hours going back and forth about the issue of a cracked front phone. Lied and said the I break u fix was booked, they didn’t have my screen a host of lies. I’m done with both companies.

I've had to file a claim on several devices throughout the years. Asurion has always had a replacement device in my hands the next business day. I appreciate how prompt they are in filing my claim! Don't go without this plan as it has saved me 1000s in replacement devices!

Amazon messed up the product protection category (office supply vs lawn and garden) as well as the date of purchase and item description. This was a challenge for me to understand and it was impossible to complete an online claim. I reached out to Patrick via text and he was awesome. He was able to grasp what went wrong and he corrected it in no time. I can't remember the last time I had a good experience with a customer service representative. I recently switched wireless carriers a month ago and I'm still having issues. I was without a phone for 14 days, unable to do banking or even order a pizza online! I don't make many claims but Patrick and Asurion blew me away! After this experience, I will definitely keep keep up their Asurion Complete Protect for all my future purchases.
