Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.

Usually this service is fantastic. However, my latest encounter was less than that. I was told my phone would be delivered same day. Was transferred to the automated payment part of the deal. It wouldn't accept my card. It acted like I wasn't entering anything and was transferred again to a person. Who then told me my phone was on back order and they didn't know how long it would be until the phone would arrive. That was a period of maybe 5 minutes of being told two completely different things. I also can't check the status. Every time I try it gives me an error message.
I had a great experience. From the moment I started my claim, it was so easy to get everything done. Fantastic results, very pleased.

If you get multiple devices stolen at the same time they don't cover your stuff! Probably the worst part is I've had this insurance for probably 5 or more years and never used it. Now that I actually need it they don't come through. After you jump through a bunch of hoops.
Can't say enough good things about my experience. My phone is like new again! The technician was very nice and helpful. The repairs were finished in about an hour which was even faster than I expected considering the number I did on my phone screen.
My experience with the company is good. The only problem I have with the broken iPad is the place to send it.
This is the first time I used asurion and I wish I have used them sooner. I have often times tried to fix simple things myself such as broken screen or cleaning my charging port but this was so much easier and convenient.
Bought an Asurion 2-yr warranty for a new laptop in Dec 2019. About 22 months later, I registered a claim on their website for a small hardware problem. Automated response was: 'We're mailing you a box with... a prepaid shipping label. Look for it in the next 5 business days.' It showed my correct address. No box, no communication = scam.

Our portable sauna malfunctioned and for some reason did not appear in the claims section. I went to the chat and the associate quickly resolved the problem and refunded me. Very easy process
I kept runnning in to a trouble loading issue while trying to file a claim. However, as soon as I connected to chat (Pablito), my claim was taken care of extremely quickly. Great experience!
They fixed my laptop for such a good price. I originally went to Apple and their quote was $458 whereas with Asurion, I paid less than $110. The price is flat rate for anything that may suddenly break and as soon as you submit your claim, they get back to you real quick. I totally recommend this to anyone with a lot of electronics or appliances!

A technician was supposed to deliver my device to my home between 7-9 pm on Thursday. No call/no show. No communication whatsoever. I had to call Asurion the following morning. They told me the device would be delivered via FedEx by Monday. Not great customer service!

I had never heard of Asurion in my life before I got my "welcome kit" from them and discovered they'd already signed me up for $30/month coverage (including taxes, which are real $$) that had already taken effect and which I'd already been billed for. To cancel you have to phone them (no other alternatives) and wait on hold an unconscionable time
The automated phone system is the most annoying system you will ever interact with, it will literally make your blood boil. I spent an hour just trying to get through the phone system, the first time I got through it I was told they were closed and the call ended. So not only did I have to deal with this once but twice!
I had to file an insurance claim for my phone which you should be able to complete online but that is only if you have one of the two phones that are listed online, which mine was not. Who comes up with this!?
Why as customers have we come to accept the norm of annoying, non user friendly automated phone systems? How do we make a stand? I dont pay for a monthly service to talk to robots every time I need to act on my service. Stop being cheap!
