Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
This has got to be the best repair service ever. It was easy to set up and within 1 hour the technician replaced my screen. The technician came to my house which was an added bonus.
Samsung outsourced their premium care to asurion, and it is anything but premium. The replacement phone they sent me had more issues than my original yet they would not refund my $99 deductible or return my original phone. They expected to get both phones back to refund my money. Unfortunately, I was set to travel and needed a phone that worked not to wait around for another replacement device that I had no faith in working. Needless to say, I won't use Samsung phones or Asurion again! Almost two years of payments plus the $99 deductible was a waste, not to mention the time wasted on multiple calls to these people. Save your money!

Refurbished phones are not actually inspected to be sure they are in good working condition before sending them to customers as replacement devices.
I have lost my phone and they took 5 days to replace it. I have provided all documents and called them multiple times. Despite my effort they still need more documents and more information. What the hell, why don't they have all these in first place? Because they do not care as long as customer is paying $$. If they have to pay single $ then there will be 100 questions, a process, documentation and crap.
First time needing this service and it was painless and worth having the insurance. Thanks again!
Though their website and terms offer "replacement value" when filing a claim, they said they specifically dont offer replacement value, only "depreciated, fair market value."
They also say claims "typically resolve in 3 days." Mine is 4 months and still ongoing.
We purchased a TV at the US Air Force Academy Base Exchange in January 2020. We noticed black streaks in the middle of the screen around May 2022. Then another developed down the right side around October 2022. I forgot about the extended 3 year warranty with Asurion, then my husband reminded me. I was concerned since we were nearing the three year mark. I filed our claim in November and Asurion sent out a repairman right away. Our TV was repaired within a few days at no additional cost to us. We are very satisfied.
Purchased this insurance for a soccer ball and when I made the claim, they just continued to give me the run around on what they needed until I finally said forget it!
The same thing happened to me a year early on a blow-up mattress. They kept asking me for different stuff until I finally gave up on the claim.
I've had to use Asurion to replace 3 or 4 cracked phone screens now. The peace of mind I have paying the insurance each month is well worth it. The money I save and the priority I receive by using their insurance when I do crack my phone phone screen is also well worth it.
My concern was taken care of in 5 mins and I received my new phone within a couple days( my choosing). Phone set up directions included and very simple to transfer all my data and erase my old phone. Return shipping label was included and old phone returned without incident.
My daughter's phone was stolen while out of the State. We made a phone call and it was resolved within five minutes. New phone showed up in the mail. 24 hours later.
Checking out at Staples they are very clear and the pamphlets support that by buying the extended coverage insurance you are covered for any mishap. Then when you make a claim they look for reasons to deny coverage, going so far as to erase claims that were initially submitted.
I will NEVER buy anything with the name Asurion again. Further, I probably should stop shopping at Staples and just get all my stuff from somewhere else.
My phone was fixed quickly and beautifully! You definitely can't tell anything was ever broken and everything is working great, even the fingerprint sensor. I would absolutely take my device to this company again!
This company is the worst company I've ever had to deal with communication wise. I file the claim which I first double checked with agent of theirs who had great customer service. However, I then proceeded to get 10 rejections of on my claim well never truly telling me why even when asked I was always giving it different reason. I then would talk to an agent and they would say everything I was doing was fine. I just needed to make some small corrections. For example, the address that I put on there was not the address they had on file but I had moved. Anyway, a lot of stupid silly mistakes and I still have never gotten my $2,500 back from my computer breaking on me.

My customer service representative, Diana, was quickly able to look into the details of my issue l. She asked me security questions and verified my identity. In addition, she went the extra mile to look into the details of my current claim, which really was secondary to why I called in the first place. Times are extremely difficult now and because we depend on this really intangible idea of the power in money, please either give Diana a raise and/or bonus. To ease any of the societal demands for money. Let her breath without worry, just if even for a little while.
I broke my screen and was not able to use my phone, Asurion made sure and sent out a ups envelope and return mail to get my phone fixed quickly. They received my phone on Friday January 19th and I got my phone return on Wednesday the 24th. Two days were the weekend and then bad weather. I am pleased with the turn around time and how my phone screen looks brand new.
Activating my phone was done in a very simple and fast way. I recommended my representative Andrew and my phone insurance provider. Very pleased.
I didn't have the necessary information for them to resolve my problem. But as soon as Monday, I'll call back and I'm sure they will do their best to assist me.
Everything is build the way so customers give up and not proseed with the claim. After a month hassle I never get my money. I paid monthly for almost a year then they charge me $80 to get refund for my phone and I never see refund and I send my broken phone to them. It's a total scam you cannot call them. You cannot email them you can never talk to someone.!

I buy the Asurion insurance for all the products I buy an Amazon. They have never denied a claim and are quick with repairs. It is definitely worth the investment.
