Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I had opened a ticket but could not complete it as I was away from my home. He easily pulled it up, told me what I needed and sent an email for me to continue my claim
I've been harassed, hacked, stolen from, identity theft, tortured. With no one really caring. Melanie looked at my phone, had me do a couple of things and finally agreed I've have been cloned and have identity theft. Directed me to the right people. The police don't even fight cyber crime. Scientology was stealing my retirements, banking, SS bank, passwords, mineral rights all over the world, and 3 inheritances. Thank you.
Who knew that Asurion did appliance repair? I didn't, until searching for someone to repair my washing machine. They scheduled to come to my house 5 days before anyone else I called. Their initial inspection charge was only $99 and would be applied to any repair costs. The final repair cost was less than other estimates I had been given. Their employees are very friendly, efficient and professional. If you have to deal with an appliance problem, I highly recommend contacting them.
This company will say whatever you want to hear in order to get you to make monthly payments. They got me with; they will cover everything from water damage to technical problems and even accidental damage. I file a claim and every thing goes through just fine, I pay their fee, then after a few days I receive an emails saying denied! I call only to get the run-a-around and finally after 2 hours on the phone with them, they said a supervisor will be calling me within 24 hrs. We're at 72... I gave them the benefit of a doubt. Don't sign up with this company. Save your money and learn from my mistake. These guys a bad hombres.
Sent out my xbox to be fixed after it literally went up in smoke. I knew it would take awhile to be fixed just because I've dealt with this kinda stuff before. So 3 weeks later I get my Xbox back excited open it noticed my receipt said they replaced power supply and "cleaned unit". Unit was not cleaned. I then hook it all up comes on works great then shuts off 5 minutes into playing power comes back on says improper ventilation it's on an open desk. I then realize the fans weren't kicking on so after waiting almost a month I have to send it back out again because they didn't do their own check list
This plan never works.
I spent my past 6 months trying to fix my damn laptop through them.
I'm done submitting the same application again and again, spending hours of hours trying to talk to someone who knows what they do.
I've been paying monthly plan that can't be compensated.
I'm emotionally exhausted, and stop spending my time, energy and effort to work this thing out.
It is what it is - I'm moving on. Will just think of all the payments I made went to someone who's in need.
Good luck using their plans and systems if you insist, but I would definitely not let any of my family members, friends, and loved ones going through the same thing I did.

Dealing with Asurion has been an absolute nightmare. Three out of four of the representatives were extremely rude and two of the four hung up on me. There was one obstacle after the next while I was trying to file a claim for my phone which was stolen. If there is any way around using Asurion do everything in your power to do so. I can honestly say I'm disgusted by the customer service I received from this company.
We purchased Asurion coverage through our wireless provider. What you don't know unless you read their entire agreement is that they will replace your broken wireless device with a pre-owned, refurbished phone. The phone we received looked like it was 4 years old and well used and will cost $200 as a deductible on top of what you paid every month. The replacement phone was definitely not worth that much, especially when the broken phone was 2 months old. You only have 7 days to reject their abysmal replacement or you are stuck with it. Turns out Apple Care ultimately costs the same and they replace your device with a new, never owned device. Take my advice and DON'T EVER get coverage from Asurion!
Our washer/dryer broke down and we had a protection plan through Home Depot. I had no idea they subcontracted this out to Asurion. Essentially after a technician came by, initially requesting a part to try to repair, they had sent the wrong part. Then they later claimed, based alone from pictures sent by the technician, that we had "abused" the product and this voided the warranty. No explanation to me, just was submitted after the fact. Avoid at all costs, they seem to take your money knowing that they can simply void on their own terms and you lose out.

From filing my claim, receiving my replacement very quickly, and the Protech support I received in switching everything over to my new device was absolutely AWESOME. I can't think of anything that could have been more pleasurable when it comes to the necessity of replacing a device that is very important to my business and personal life. It's bad enough when it becomes necessary from an unexpected accidental loss. This experience was superb!
It's taken 3 attempts with Asurion employees to file my claim, the whole process is overly complicated and too expensive. With monthly fees and the additional service fee it's costing me $175 for what would have been a $75 repair somewhere else.

I had a some questions and concerns about the process for returning my covered product and what to expect. I contacted an Asurion customer support representative three times regarding the procedure (mainly because of unnecessary trepidation on my part) and while expecting a disaster every time, it was the exact opposite. Every person I communicated with has been professional, thorough, clear and accommodating. I am very pleasantly surprised at how well it has all gone.
Well, several appointments and several different repairman to try to silence noise in dryer. Clicking or thumbing. They never got rid of it even replacing just about every part they could. Now before insurance runs out they sent me a communication saying their no longer fixing dryer.

Malcolm was racist while speaking with us and acted like he could care less on customer service. I'm not one to write reviews, but you don't act like that. My wife's phone was supposed to be fixed and now she's out of a phone because your poor work ethic and unprofessionalism.

Asurion provides A1 superior service always. Filed a claim late afternoon, it was approved and phone received within 24 hrs. This is not my first claim, I also have other family members who have had to work with Asurion, they get it right the first time in the spirit of excellence.
I would stay away from this company if you are need of service. My refrigerator/freezer went out and scheduled an appointment for the next day between 1-5 PM. I get e mails starting at 8:09 AM saying that service is on schedule and we will see you at the allotted time. While in a meeting in the AM, I received a voice mail saying the appointment was cancelled while I watch 300.00 worth of food rot. I called them 4 times and left a message but never received a call back until 11:00 the next day. Needless to say I went out and purchased a new Refrigerator as i could not wait around any longer. Extremely poor Customer Service.
I haven't had an actual person to respond like this on a chat call for a very long time. I have some issue with my iPad and he was guiding me every step to test the functionality. Before the iPad is being restarted I am seeing improvement already. Thank You AJ!
I had an issue with my brand new iPhone that no one had been able to figure out/fix. After one minute with my Tech on chat, she knew what the problem was. Had me do a 3-minute shut down/restart, did her magic in the background, and bang. Problem resolved. Didn't take tons of typing back & forth (which is what usually keeps me away from chat tech support). Awesome!
My 14 pro was stolen from the car. Didn't wanna do anything til we could look for it in hopes it would show up. "Negative" So I did my claim and everything went so smoothly. I'll have a new phone in 3-7 days.

I have been with Verizon for over 20 years.
Yesterday was the 1st claim. Now they want me to pay hundreds just to fix a screen. What a rip off! Like a sleazy used car salesman. They don't mind and probably expect people to cancel out after they attempt to actually receive service from this parasite of a company. Go anywhere else for coverage of electronics.

After several calls it was amazing to get a prompt resolution from Joshua in the chat support team. I called yesterday and was transferred then disconnected. How ever in a few minute Joshua researched and uncovered the email was keyed in incorrect by claims rep. Who then cancelled my claim, joshua updated and resubmitted. Thank you Joshua for providing service that is difficult yo find these days, i hope asurion values your level of attention.
They just keep making me jump through hoops to get my replacement even though it was approved over a month ago. 2 months total time and still no replacement product. Their buisness model is to frustrate you until you go away. Complete waste of money and time.

Absolute WORST company known to man. Horrible communication skills, lack of knowledge, responsibility, and just overall a joke of an institution. If you have ever tried using their website, you will notice that all of their links takes you in circles, and they are okay with leaving you with "sorry, this not available" and gives you a random phone number that is "always helping other clients". When you finally get a phone, it is some washed up, used, wrong color, defective device that simply is not what you paid for. Screw you guys, screw your company, go f yourselves.
