Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

I've been going back and forth with them for about 5 days now. They sent my phone to the wrong address and keeps giving me the run around. Employees will hang up on you. Very disrespectful. I still haven't received my phone. I will be not paying for this service again after this

My son's phone was dropped accidentally and damaged. Luckily I always get the phone care plan for all three phones I have with Bell and it's worth paying the monthly care plan fees. I recommend the plan to anyone who has smartphone since not having it may cost you a lot more and you can avoid the hassle of getting a replacement phone on your own. The claim process is very simple, painless and convenient.

I had one laptop fixed by Asurion with no problems. I sent another laptop to them to fix. The device was fixed, but the touch screen was not working. Long story short, they did not contact me about my device being repaired or replaced. I called Asurion two weeks later after receiving the email stating, "your device is beyond repair". Do not waste your money and time with this company. You will thank me later!

I set up an appointment to have the glass on my I phone 13 Pro Max replaced and in the process of having that service completed one of the screws got stripped, and I was given a replacement device the next day at no additional charge and without any hassle. Never had to do a claim in all 5 years of having insurance on my phone. Back of the screen cracked and they wanted me to pay a $229 deductible for a phone that's worth $125 in trade in or can be bought brand new for $199.99 with no contract. Giant scam! Was able to get the phone repaired for $50 from another provider. Lost me as a customer and the other 8 people on our account for life.

They denied my claim because they said the phone that had service was not the phone that was damaged. Yet I have a green screen from water damage on the phone I have service with and called them on. So how could it not be the right phone?

Because of this I have gone a full week without a new phone. My service keeps dipping in and out because if the water damage.

I have been with Verizon for 10+ years and I am leaving them based on how Asurion went. Bye bye Verizon!

Well, to begin with, in today's market where everything is automated, it was a pleasure to actually deal with a real live person.
I was fortunate to get an agent that understood my problem and was able to suggest a solution to my advantage.
Thank you to Asurion for employing Ms S Jones; She was very patient as one time I thought I had lost her, but she remained on the line until I was able to re-connect. Great customer service.

After 15 years with at&t I lost a phone. I was happy I had Asurion...
Only
They ended up sending me a refurbished phone with a $200 deductible.

Read up and do not accept Asurion. Find a different company if possible. Asurion has hidden closures which is not upfront where you will probably end up paying more for items than they are worth even though you have been paying monthly insurance premiums.

There were many steps that I had not experienced before. I have broken my phone twice in the past two years.

Each instance resulted in three warranty claims through Asurion, and each process took over a month.

The online interface doesn't work. You have to call them directly.

Most infuriating is the quality of the replacements they've sent. I usually have to send back a couple of the replacements before I get something that will take or hold a charge.

If there is something physically wrong with the replacement, you have seven days to make another claim. Otherwise, you cough up another hundred dollar deductible.

I have been sent the wrong model of phone before. A five year old model that I never owned.

Wow from the looks of it this company already has some terrible reviews so i'm not alone! You'd think that they would care about their loyal customers who needed a new phone and finally use their insurance to file their first claim. I guess it's all about the money to them. Apparently if you lose a phone within 2 months and try to file a claim you can't! That's absolutely ridiculous. This is supposed to be insurance if you LOSE A PHONE. They don't care about their valued customers so many people also agree and they are still out here trying to scam people. Pathetic.

I usually never buy extended warranties. Very easy to submit claim/few minutes. Approved immediately and will get mailing label from Asurion shortly. Got it just now! Will send product to Asurion and, upon receipt, I'll get an email e-giftcard for the full purchase price. Thank you God and Asurion!

My claim was converted to replace the entire phone for the deductible amount charged to replace the cracked screen: $29 instead of $149. No contact at all from Asurion to tell me the claim had been modified. It still took three tries to get payment accepted. Then another day to get the phone and several hours to update and configure it.

In conclusion, a matter which could have been settled in hours for $29 was eventually settled in 5 days for $29. I am underwhelmed by the lack of customer service, problem solving and communication. The front line folks I actually spoke with wanted to be helpful but could not be helpful.

I have been paying for coverage with Asurion for years. When my phone screen got cracked I filed a claim. All went well until I was asked to make a payment of $29 for the deductible. No matter how often I tried and no matter how many different payment methods I tried the payment attempt generated an error.

An hour on the phone with three people, the last of whom simply hung up on me, no one could process the payment even after starting a new claim. No one had any idea what was wrong, no one could help me get the phone fixed even though I was standing next to the technician ready to replace the screen.

Utterly frustrating that for three days this has been going on and they didn't even have a clue their system was broken. I can't possibly be the only customer with a problem. And if it is only I, what the heck is the problem? They have no idea.

Meanwhile, my phone screen remains cracked with who knows what kind of additional damage possible while Asurion continues to get no where. Since the last person I talked to disconnected I have gotten no calls or emails about this.

How can a service repair person schedule appointments with an all day wait period for them an not show up multiple times? How are they in business? Please save yourself aggravation. Don't get a warranty through them.

These "warranties" sound great and their customer service people are friendly on the phone, but the rest is largely a smoke screen. They don't honor damage the way they say they will, their sub-contractors are slow to respond and generally disallow the wear and tear you'd expect them to cover, and they are very slow to refund the money back to the Amazon account in the form of gift cards. I was promised a refund a week ago and it's still not here. A bike I purchased a warranty on is broken, but all damage is excluded. They require excessive proof of the damage, delaying the claims by weeks, and then fail to show up with call tags as promised. Overall, I'd say be VERY selective on buying their warranties. If they don't really cover you, it's simply bait and switch as they make billions off of gullible customers like me. (Aren't they covered by state law to be legit like insurance? Guess they are too big to care.)
