Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
I received a total of two telephones and neither one I could be heard when talking. I'm pretty certain that I'll be taken care of properly and accordingly.
This is an amazing team of young men, who do their best to help you, especially when your warranty has expired! They are knowledgeable and they do go above and beyond. I am grateful and will be a repeat customer because of their professional and personal service and care! I have to mail my laptop since a hardware issue, they returned me back repaired/replaced the motherboard within a certain amount of time. This was the best (and for me), preferred service 24/7.
The 'monitor' on my laptop all of a sudden started showing hundreds of colored lines so that I could not see the screen. After calling the 'computer company' and finding out my 1 year warranty had just ended... I called Asurion explained the problem, and immediately they sent me a label to send my laptop in. I dropped it off at UPS on Friday, and it was returned to me in about 4 days. They also kept me informed by texting me
I contacted tech support and was connected with Robert. I was just trying to scan a file, and have it appear on my desktop. But it went to some weird file that I could not easily access. He had me down load LogMeIn rescue, he took control of my laptop (which was a huge weight off of me), found the issue quickly and fixed it. And with him moving the cursor around, I could see what he did so I'll know next time. Thanks so much!
Repair company is terrible. My washing machine has been broken for over a month. The company assigned to us lies, cancels appointments and don't provide any calls ahead of time. It's been a very bad experience. Washing machine still not fixed
My husband's iPhone 11 locked completely up. We were told by AT&T we could file a claim because we were paying for protection. We set up an appointment online for someone to come to our house the next day. He was on time and had the screen replaced within a few minutes, which fixed the problem. We were very satisfied with the service.
- Phone support hangs up on people
- Phone support tries to upsell people who are having a bad experience while not resolving the issue
- Phone support will not tell you directly if they can resolve your issue over several phone calls
- You have to make it a big enough issue with the company you're getting insurance with Asurion through for them to give a $#*! about your replacement
Asurion is legitimately the worst insurance company out there. I had to spend time over 5 days on many phone calls just to get an equivalent device replacement. They wanted to try and force me into accepting a clear downgrade device, as hard as they could.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE ASURION FOR INSURANCE. IT IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF

I've been paying the monthly fee for whole home protection for about a year. 3 months ago, I filed a claim on my daughter's tablet. They had me take it in to the store, who in turn shipped it off to be repaired or replaced. Now, apparently, the tablet is lost and they're calling the claim "complete" and I never received a call, email, or text to say what the resolution was. The case has been "escalated" now for the second time, so we'll see what happens. Even if it is resolved tomorrow, the fact still remains that it has taken 3 months to get to this point. With all the time I've spent dealing with this, had I spent that time at work getting paid, I could have bought probably 5 tablets. So, my opinion is that this service, while it probably isn't a scam, is certainly NOT worth the money.

The service we have received is the abysmal at best. Spend 6 hours on a phone being transferred to 8 different people and with each one having to explain the entire issue again. It felt like they were knowingly wasting my time hoping we would give up. The initial service person who came out to help, lied to us about the Asurion plan and promised a bill of goods that never existed. We ended up having him come out a couple times with him never fixing the issue. We spent too much money, and the service and help ended up being a big scam. STAY AWAY!

Do not pay for this service through Verizon. I've been paying for years and the time I needed it the customer service was terrible, they lied about when my phone would be delivered and the technician who was supposed to deliver my phone Alejandro reached out to me, gave me a timeframe of 7-9, but never delivered my phone nor responded to me when I tried to check the status of delivery. When I tried to call him he did not respond. When I called the company they said he was on his way, but a later on said there was a cut off time and the phone would not be delivered. Do not waste you money on this service because if your phone breaks they will not help you. They will give you the run around and you will never get service or help. Their customer service is terrible and they will say anything to you to get you off the phone. If you pay for this service just know I warned you!

My experience online was not as easy as I thought it would be, however I called in and the agent was amazing. The process took a while but it was worth it. A tech came out to my address the very next morning and repaired my phone. The tech himself was professional, and very kind. He repaired my cracked screen and cleaned the charging port. My phone looks brand new and it's charging again. I am completely satisfied with my overall experience with Asurion and I would recommend to everyone.
I like that they solved my problem very fast. Only not so good thing though would be that I was asked to go to an ATT store after filling the claim, but what I did there nothing extraordinary, I could've been done the same at home. Still, response was fast and good, so I'm good with it.
This company is a fraud. They take your money and then refuse to accept your claim when your machine breaks. There is a lack of communication and customer service skills with this company as well. The service providers that they use are unprofessional and do not know what they are doing. My machine worked better when I first made a claim than it does now after three different technicians have messed around with it. Then the third technician blamed the machine not working on me. Instead of speaking with me about the problem they made a decision about my claim without even asking me for my side of the story! I'm sure that it is apparent that after three different technicians not being able to repair my machine that the problem is not me! Their no lemon policy is a lie! They will just leave you with a broken machine and deny your claim. With this company, the customer certainly does not come first! Beware!

My brand new iPhone was not sending or receiving texts with photos to/from android users nor was I able to remain in group texts unless they were l iPhone users. After hours and days of trying every online support suggestion and not getting any help from my local Verizon store, I called 611 and Verizon patched me through to Adrian (at Asurion) who had me turn off phone for 5 mins while he reset my texting somehow. When I turned my phone back on, it was working like magic. I am very pleased with the support.
Only one star because there was nothing lower. My new iPhone had problems and asurion charged me $130.00 to replace it. I received a remanufactured one. About 2 weeks later, the screen started to pulled away from the back case. Asurion tells me that they will replace it for another $130.00. This shows me that asurion is strictly out to get your money.

My screen cracked. The fix is simple enough that a person can do it in a van while you wait. Reportedly. I can't confirm because even though I live in the middle of the second largest town in my state, the closest location is over 85 miles away.
My alternative is to mail it in with a 3-day turnaround time. I use my phone for work, so obviously this is not possible. My other alternative? Buy a new phone.
There are people all over town who can do this repair, but none of them are 'in network'.
A toothbrush would be more useful to an ostrich that this service is to me.
My son broke his phone on 5/31/22 which is protected by Asurion. I have yet to get the matter resolved. I have spoken to multiple supervisors, spent many hours trying to get what is owed to me which is a gift card in the amount of the phone. I have been disconnected when on hold with them multiple times and now they just completely ignore my emails trying to get this resolved. I had to purchase a new phone for my son months ago. I do not recommend buying this protection since you will just be running around trying to get your money back.

Well the only thing was,there internet was down. Had a good number of staff. But it took longer time because the Samsung internet was down. But the team was very helpful and Exclaimed everything clearly.
Laptop from Costco broke so we needed to send it in for repair. Service was easy to set up, quick, and everything was taken care of. The only thing missing was the communication. We didn't know what was happening after we shipped off our laptop off. There was no communication or tracking given at any point. Still, I would use this service again.

I was concerned because I got a separate text message saying I should shut off "find my iphone" on the old device before converting. I did not read this message until after converting, but Ed walked me through a number of steps to insure everything was done correctly.
The first Teo assigned texted as to his 2 hour window and also gave a phone number - when he didn't show and never answered texts or calls and a half hour later got an automated message that said I need to make another appt the next day - I was confused. The Teo that came out the next day was great! He was on time, professional and courteous and made my whole experience way better, that's why I left 5 stars - the rep gets the stars and Asurion got a new phone in my hands very quickly - set up was easy - rep handled it perfectly! Just wish there was a better communication method with the first one that didn't show
