Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
My IPhone was totally smashed. I was able to complete a claim in what seemed less than a minute. I know it took longer but it was so seamless a process. Now they advise my phone will be replaced in 1 to 2 business days assuming this happens then this was a top notch experience.
I spent more than an hour on line with "Annie" from AT&T. She was professional, knowledgeable and, above all, relentless until she solved the problem. It was a pleasure to have the help and advice from a seasoned technician. Thanks to Annie.
Issue was resolved efficiently (under 30 minutes). I wish they wouldn't try to upsell an insurance plan while waiting for my issue to be resolved. If it wasn't for that I would've given 5 stars.
I will admit I did a very idiotic thing, I set a tablet and a laptop on top of a refrigerator while moving and forgot about it; until I was rolling the frig down the driveway and they both fell off and bounced around on the concrete. My protection plan covered this situation, and no one gave me grief or called me stupid...

What a nightmare this place is and it's horrible the way they have their calls going to Asia out of the United States PERIOD. First you have to go through a long messages of BS saying the same crap over & over.
Once you get somebody on the phone you can't understand them as their from Asia and if you can understand them they don't really have a clue how to help you. So they put you on hold for ever to their customer solution team you wait for an hour or two and then get more Asian help that struggles to communicate. They go as far as pretending they have you talking to the CEO of the department which is a $#*!ing joke. They try and use the 60 day rule that doesn't apply to everything to just BS you until you give up. Another company needs to step up so this horrible run piece of human garbage company can burn in hell.

I spent the better part of 3 hours being redirected, placed on hold, and I formed of "computer issues" keeping me from the service I was promised when I agreed to pay for this insurance. Tomorrow, I'll be paying for a new phone out of pocket and removing this insurance from the rest of my existing lines. Not worth ANY money.
I broke my glass screen and called Asurion. They scheduled an appointment immediately. A technician came to my office and fixed the screen onsite. It couldn't have been easier. Outstanding experience.
Natasha assisted me with excellent customer service this am. I was in good hands and she even made it a little more personable by seeing how my day was going while we waited for the updates. As I was juggling work while trying to make changes with her she waited patiently and understood I was trying to multitask. Very good service to use when something needs to be done and u can't talk on the phone!

Sent my laptop in because it was shutting off when the batter was 30%. Took spme time to source some additional parts, but I was ok with that because I am not experiencing that issue anymore. Highly recommend Asurion's service!
This is money well spent. I wouldn't buy a phone without this insurance. I've been insured with them through many phones over many many years.

I had to wait over a month for my replacement. Each time I tried to communicate with customer service, I had an unreasonable wait time. I am currently waiting for a representative and have been on hold for 40 minutes.
I contacted Asurion about a lost phone. Negligence on my part, yes. Asurion agreed to the claim process and mailed me a replacement. A few emails updating the arrival. When the phone didn't show up I called them. Yes a painstaking process to talk to a real person. I also went through various automated disconnections. When I finally talked to a real person, she was quite friendly and very helpful. Then I was connected with the adjuster. Completely opposite. She left me on hold for quite a while as she accessed my info; given that my info was in their hands through the last four steps I went through. The answer I got: "It appears that the terms and conditions are not being followed." When I acquired about it. I was Told that no further information can be given because Asurion scans and investigations are confidential. Basically, we pay Asurion to lie to us.
So glad we took out the extended warranty with Asurion when we bought our refrigerator/freezer from Home Depot. They sent out Matthew from Lake Appliance & Repair and he did an excellent job diagnosing/fixing our problem with our ice maker and then double-checked his work. Asurion gets a "10" rating from us & we highly recommend.
They have denied the 2 legitimate claims I have made one for cracked screen in October, and one for another issue today. They have Not explained, just sent a message saying denied claim after making me jump through hoops just to get service. Cancelling my service today. On the phone with them now, they are trying now to tell me that they will do a claim review, now that I have called to cancel. Better off just buying new Instead of paying for $25 a month forever for NOTHING.

I would like to thank Julio for showing up and taking care of my iPhone screen today! He was efficient, personable, kind and fast. He took the time to communicate and let me know where he was timing wise and what was required overall to do the job. I wonder what it would be like if the world had more calm, caring, positive and engaged people. Much appreciated! And of course grateful to Assurion for providing such an awesome service.
My wife's phone was lost or stolen during dinner while we were out of town. I filed a claim online, and a replacement phone was at our house in three days! Marvelous service... and the copayment was just under $40.
NEVER EVER even try them. Worst customer services. They lie and only stretch time. I called 6 times and every time they told me wait 1-2 business days. Now is two weeks and I don't still receive my phone replacement. They let without phone and they don't care about you.
I had an issue I had never tackled before, and Jennifer was patient, led me through it, had a sense of humor, and told me where to look for things on my phone that we needed to turn off or on, without being condescending! I feel accomplished, and it was all really her help that did it.
John diagnosed and fixed my phone within an hour. I was thinking I would need to buy a new phone but he reassured me that he could fix everything for me. Not only did he fix it but replaced my old battery. That is what I call service with a bonus! Thanks John for all your help!
Protection plan in 2020 with Home Depot, was beneficial, as in 2023 my dishwasher stopped working, however, the warranty saved the day. Asurion fixed the problem and both their service Reps who came over were professional and knew the problem and fixed it with a New Part.

After a day or two of determining whether my Manufacturers Warranty no longer covered my laptop, Asurion accepted responsibility and emailed me a prepaid shipping label. My laptop was shipped to Asurion, repaired and returned to me in less than a week. I was very satisfied with Asurion's repair job.
Don't cover phones, denied laptop and TV. Got a lap top tune up for free which did not improve anything. So basically paid for 4 months $100 for a lap top tune up that was 2 days without my laptop for nothing. Don't waste your money or time. Is nothing but a frustration you pay monthly for.

I had cracked my phone this month. I used Asurion and went to the closest AT&T store and they had it fixed in 30-45 mins. Fast and easy! It was only 30 dollars all together and they just added to my phone bill for the next payments. Very happy and satisfied with the work and easiness!
I was told my phone was shipped it was not they did not even have a phone to replace it with and it took way longer to receive my business phone I lost a lot of time and money over this they do not have same day or next day replacement it is a lie.

After going to my local ATT store in Marietta, Ohio (which was no help), I called ATT support. I eventually was connected to a tech who was amazing. He did his best to solve the problem, and when he couldn't, he sent me the link to get it replaced. I answered a few questions and my claim was approved. This was around 4:30 on Friday evening. I had my new phone by 11:00 Saturday morning. Amazing.
