Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
New 14 phone, too complicated to fix on my own so called customer service. Alisha was the representative, knew what to do and so patient with a 76 year old with limited tech skills.
She was so pleasant and kind plus in 5 minutes had me on my way.

After an hour and a half we finally got the new phone activated, everything finally worked it just seem like it took way too long, the 800-number sent me to a website. The website sent me to Verizon. Verizon sent me to a Asurion. It was kind of like come on can there just be one number you call to activate a phone instead of running around. But the gentleman who helped me was very pleasant and I appreciate his time
I used the online chat to assist me in filing my claim. I needed to use that since the system thought my purchase was still under MFG warranty but it was not. They were extremely helpful in getting that sorted out and only took a couple of minutes to get my claim filed.
My past few interactions with Asurion have been great. When I dropped my laptop (covered for accidental drops) in August, they were unable to repair it and replaced it quickly. Over the summer they managed to fix my husband's old laptop - with Win97, I think.
Asurion Customer Service used to be horrible. One man threw a fit because I said that my son would be upset that someone treated his mother this way. One woman told me that they were not allowed to be empathetic. Not kidding. (I still have her number somewhere.)
Everyone I've spoken to over the past few months has been efficient and knowledgeable, and friendly in the process.
I've been an AT&T customer since the early 1990s and their service isn't what it used to be.
As it stands now, DirecTV has Asurion to thank for our continued business, not the other way around.
Useless no customer service they can't get shlt to work. How has this not been shut down yet? Id be embarrassed to work for these idiots. Put a $#*!ing monkey on the line and they'll be more help than these retqrds.

I've unfortunately broken my device 3 times and and all 3 times I've had the same repair tech. Highly recommend, if I had the option to specifically ask for him again, I would! He was quick and efficient, handled everything with care. Was very polite every time. Thank you again for the great service. My device is as good as new for an older model iPhone (XR).
If I could rank it less than 0 I would. It has been almost a month and I still don't have my replacement device. I believe they do this on purpose so you just give up and buy another phone. They are quick to take your money but are lousy, lousy at fulfilling the policy. I am in disbelief as to how awful the service is. Every time I think I'm done they send another email requesting additional information. I have canceled the polily. Honestly the absolute worse service. Don't use them. They suck!
Adolf was the customer representative that helped me with a panicked daughter that had her phone broken & needed it for her college assignments quickly. He was enjoyable to speak with, knowledgeable about what I needed & quickly handled everything to get her phone to her at school the very next day.
I have been having issues with my phone for 3 weeks now, they were supposed to replace it and still no replacement! If I could go some where else for insurance on my phone I would! They basically told me to go to hell!

I had a Vizio 65 inch tv it broke they gave me options to pick and they gave me a Samsung 70inch tv it's amazing way better than the video well worth paying monthly for asurion thank you all from asurion
I work for one of the retailers affiliated with Asurion (Staples) so I have always been an advocate for adding protection plans to a lot of our products. However, this was the first time I had to file a claim on a product I had actually purchased. Filing a claim was fast and easy, as they asked me for my reason for filing a claim and visual proof that the claim was legitimate. I received a Staples gift card the next day, which I was able to use towards a new chair. I will make sure to provide my personal experience to customers in the future!
I had bought in an Asurion plan after I had lost my cell phone at a theme park. Recently, my daughters Beats headphones had broken, and I had put a claim in to have them repaired. Unfortunately, they were unrepairable, and they totally refunded my money for the headphones so that I could purchase new ones. This plan is absolutely amazing and worse, every penny that I pay monthly.
We have a extended warranty on our refrigerator with Asurian. Refrigerator broke, called them, we trouble shooted and still couldn't fix it. The Asurian paper work states repair will commence in 24 hours. First representative says it will be 6 days, I got a call the next day and they just informed me it would be maybe 8 days before they could come out and look at it. I call back there customer service and talked with Cameron and he was no help and very condescending. I buy a warranty to protect/confidence in my large purchases Asurian is not reliable or professional!
Had trouble with a 1 year old purchase from Staples on a printer. Contact their support then Asurion. No questions asked, sent me a shipping label to return the faulty printer, within 24 hours had my ECredit on old printer. Just picked up a new one, and yes I again purchased the Asurion Warranty Package. So glad I had done so on the old one. Very fast, thorough, and professional technicians. No hassles!
It was a very easy on-line registration after chatting with one of the specialist. JiaMariel, the specialist, was very helpful, knowledgeable and walked me through registering my product, Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Tiny Techie Bundle. Great satisfying experience! They also are sending an email confirming my policy information and confirmation within 48 hours. Fantastic.
The technician that came to fix my phone very knowledgeable about the phone model that I have, plus he was very professional & helpful. He repaired my phone in a quick & timely manner, and I am happy!
I am self taught on computers as I worked in the dental field but in the back office with the patients directly. The nice ladies in the front office wouldn't allow us to touch their computers.
Now I have a laptop, iPhone, MAC etc so I've been doing my homework and I use it everyday.
I got an error message that said No Connection and I rebooted unplugged you name it but it didn't work. My technician here at Asurion showed me to enter my apps by going through settings to mail to then add an account and it fixed the problem. I would never have known nor figured that out on my own. Excellent, don't need. This is my own decision. I had not use my on line grip to come to this decision. There is nothing wrong with the programs. However I had not conferred with my Verizon and Apple sources until today. I realize that I'm more than a little behind in my tech knowledge!
You pay your monthly fee, then a deductible and then they send you a refurbished phone that doesn't work properly. What a frustrating experience. Waste of time and money. Cancelled insurance and advising others to do the same! You could buy a new better phone for the same price.
Excellent service from start to finish. The three year extra warranty I bought from Costco came through. The trouble shooting on the phone by the technician was seamless. The technician who fixed the TV was very professional and my TV is like new again. Five star service by all!

Stay away from any telecom carrier that uses Asurion as the phone/device insurance coverage.
The Asurion deductibles are ludicrous when you file a claim. My deductible on a lost device was $275 more than the device cost in the first place. Replacement value on the used device was $50 so why would I pay $275 for a device that brand new lists so much less.
They suck. STAY AWAY!
Very pleased with my experience, I thought I would get the run around. My iPad was replaced with a brand new one, and I received the new one in 2 days. GREAT service! Going to be careful with this replacement so happy that I purchased Asurion! A great investment..
