Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
At purchase I added the Asurion Warranty for 4 years. Went to the website and entered my 17 digit purchase code they emailed me and it was so simple to resolve the issue! Highly recommend this warranty and will make sure to always get the warranty for all my Purchases!
Asurion is wonderful! My husband is pretty clumsy with his phone! Lol When he works on our vehicles or anything, he puts his phone in his pocket or even on the tire of the vehicle he is working on and forgets about it! He ends up running over it, rolling over on something with it in his pocket, etc! Asurion has helped us with a replacement phone each time. Their website is very easy to use! I would recommend them to anyone with a phone!
They sent me a replacement phone I got some water on it and the phone is supposed to be water resistant up to 5 feet. They didn't seal it properly and 1 cup of water killed the phone. Called for 1 hour and they told me that that's my fault and I have to pay the 200$ deductible.
I just bought a Christmas present for my daughter and forgot to add her email as the recipient of the purchase. Here it is, a few days before Christmas, and I was able to get the warranty transferred to her, as the purchase was a Christmas gift. Very efficient and painless chat I had - took ten minutes maybe.
I was impressed with how straightforward and clear the process was to file a claim and get a replacement for my phone. It fell in the swimming pool last night; I waited overnight, put it in a bag of rice to absorb moisture, but it would not start up today. I went to the website, put in the phone number, and in five minutes I was done filing the claim. It says I should expect the replacement in two days. Unusually good service!
I purchased my plan over 2 years ago and the chair I bought was struggling to stay up so I contacted Asurion about it. I submitted my claim (which was super easy) and got a gift card to replace it the next day. I highly reccomend these protection plans to everyone! Thanks for being a great company!
Dryer shutting off and making clunking noise. Call my Home Depot warranty and a technician was out within a couple days to look at it. Problem detected, parts ordered and as soon as parts came in I messaged Taylor my technician and he was out promptly to replace the broken parts. Great experience all around. Highly recommend.
This is the best i did since i lost my phones im a busy person have 3 kids and 2 ex wifes so busy and crazy some times but is so easy to claim and by next day or maybe 2 days you get your replacement i love this guys and i hope every one get Asurion
As with any insurance writer, their job is to retain as much of the premium you pay in order to be profitable. The problem is when they are not willing to provide the service you are paying them for, or make it so hard to file a claim within the TOS it makes the policy is useless. Save your money, by the time you pay the deductible and fight with them on the phone you will be cheaper to buy a new $1,000.00 phone outright. Terrible service, terrible support, another terrible thing for ATT to further degrade their horrible reputation for customer service. I cannot rate 0 or negative I would.
While the automated online claim submission did not accept my claim, the Chat Rep was able to move the claim along. Although I need to follow up with the Claims Review Team, it seems to be moving along. The only recommendation I would have is somehow allow the automated system to accept noted reasons for a claim if the problem is listed on the warranty coverage brochure.
Earlier today they had 11-1PM window. The guy calls at 1:15 and I explain I am in a work meeting. He tries to get me to call asurion to make a change so he can keep the job. I instead log into site and change to 5-7 because I had meetings. I now wait from 5-7 and do not hear from asurion again - so leaving my office - still with a cracked phone screen.
I've had better expierence through square trade. This was a hassle. Would have lost use of device and time because of shipping a broken item, couldn't have been repaired but they needed to see it other than photos, could have easily been replaced. Amazon helped with a hassle free refund and provided ups pickup of the item just needed to box it up and be there because of the price of the drone.
Hakeem was very polite i arrived he greeted me and handled himself very professionally i planned on dropping off the phone because I know these things can take long but told me I was better off waiting 30 minutes then traveling back home he was done in about 15 and my phone works as good as new
This is the third replacement device claim. The first two devices that I was sent did not work and now I have to go to phoneclaim.com and refresh every 30 min until the status no longer says under review. Then I have to call back and finish the claim. I was told it could take 3 to 24 hours for the review status to change. Sound a little crazy especially when the first two devices I have gotten for this replacement did not work.
Always worked with me I've only lost two phones or so in the last 7-8 years and they have always had my back and when one of the replacements were faulty they jumped to it and got me one sent right away. They even overnighted it. They are so cool and very helpful once you reach out.
I paid for the service for 6 years and never needed it. When I finally broke my iPhone 6, they told me the replacement price is $150.
When I originally signed up for Asurion, they had a $8/mo option with a deductible, and a $14/mo option that said it's a 'no deductible' option.
I called asurion not too long ago, maybe in august. Since I got my iphone 6, I've paid $14/mo for asurion on the assumption that they'd take care of me and I'd have no deductible. The iphone 5 was released in 2014!
I didn't get the iphone when it first came out, maybe in 2015. Assuming I got it in august, I've paid $1000 to asurion. So I call them about my phone, which should be free, as they said it would be, and I've paid for the phone several times over at this point.
They say it's $150, they don't honor the 'no deductible' plan anymore, and it's not their problem.
When I push to see what they can do for me, they say they can replace the phone for $125 'as a service to me'

Why even pay 70 bucks a month through Verizon for Asurion if they have ONE person within an hour of where I live? (I live in Canton, OH. It's not small.) They had me reschedule my cracked screen repair appointment twice over the course of two weeks. Then the second time said "Oh sorry, the tech was exposed to COVID19. We don't have another available. You can either drive an hour to Euclid, pay 120 bucks more for a replacement phone, or schedule out over two weeks out." After two weeks of having broken glass come off my phone, I asked for my deductible back, cancelled my claim, and cancelled all the insurance. Two years of paying for the insurance and the first time I need it, I get stiffed. Better off paying a hundred bucks one time to replace the screen somewhere close by. Be smart, either get insurance with someone else, or look into phone repair places nearby to see what the cost really is should you have an OOPS.
I am very pleased with how quickly my laptop was repaired & returned. However when the laptop was sent back they did not include my power cord rendering my repaired computer useless. I used the chat tool several times over the past few weeks to try & wrestle my cord back. All of the chat people were very professional & pleasant but did not provide results until one of them suggested that they stop looking for my lost cord & send me a new one. Very frustrating that no one, until that point, considered my issue important enough to resolve. JuanCarlos finally provided a UPS tracking number that, hopefully indicated that my new cord will be arriving. Over three weeks w/out my power cord@ this point. Very poor customer service.

Asurion received my phone 8 days ago, for a screen replacement, per Fedex Tracking. I've made 3 calls and nobody can tell me when the phone will be done. When I call, the reps tell me it will be done in 3 to 5 work days, its now past 5 work days, still no phone.
Very easy to understand the claiming process. I have went through this twice now and both times have been easy and very quick response time and fast shipping. And its quick as 5 mins. No headaches at all!
Have had nothing but issues! No one knows what they are doing, they even had my name and address wrong, the messed up my shipment and had the wrong tracking information. They have no clue where my phone is or when I will receive it! They don't listen when you talk n repeat themselves over and over when you have explained exactly what they said. It is a sh&t show! Do not use them if you can avoid it! Nothing but a headache and stress!

Don’t use them unless you have a lot of patience because they seriously have no idea what they are doing unless you get lucky and talk to the one person who somewhat has an idea

Upon calling asurion I was greeted with a snarky hello. Throughout the call I tried to explain my problem and they were very unhelpful. They started yelling at me and called me stupid. I hate this company and you should hate them too. If I could rate them zero stars, I would.

I get annual maintenance on my treadmill from $#*!'s. I never used it due to covid. It's time. I got help online from JohnErwin. He is extremely helpful and friendly. These people know how to hire great staff, which is he one.
I've had dealings with Asurion in the past for my phones, many phones. I have an account with four lines. I picked them for this warranty because they have been great for me. It's the best warranty service. Well worth it.
I had to get a replacement phone, and when I called the techs to help get the new one set up, I spoke with Justin. He was very helpful, and made the whole process easy and understandable. I would definitely recommend this company!
