Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

Bought a Samsung TV and got the extra insurance through asuncion. Went to file a claim when had just lines coming across the screen. Three weeks later still trying to get someone to fix it, still no one, after that the Tv went black. Called them again they said needed more info, sent invoice and a copy of insurance coverage they said they couldn't except that and denied my claim, will never buy thr extra insurance again, and will tell everyone I know never to buy it. Very poor service I wouldn't even give them 1 star.

I purchased a powerwheel GMC truck from manufactured by Costzon on Amazon.com and the truck stopped taking a charge and the shifting lever broke off. I reached out to Asurion and Ms. Ellen the customer service representative was fabulous. She was extremely professional, courteous and made the entire process painless. We paid $450.00 for this toy and our little 3 year was bummed when it broke, but Asurion made my little guy smile by providing a gift card to replace the broken item.

We pursed a Protection Plan on our Washing Machine at Home Depot which is back by Asurion. In December our machine stopped working they sent a technician out on December 28,2021 who said he was putting in for a part. One January 14,2022 they said they could'nt fix the washer and they were sending us an eGift Card we have called 8 times spoke with several supervsors provided 2 different emails and we still have nothing as of 219/22. I know they think we will just give up not happening. We have filed a claim with the BBB and will be filing a claim in small claims court. Please save your money because you will never get your item fixed and you will not get the replacement money either. This is the worst company ever they take your money and then treat you like garbage.

Never buy Home Depot Protection Plan

You can file 100 claims & they will never reach out to you. The links which claims you can track your ticket is just copypasta back to the front of the line to start a new claim. Want to cancel? Don't get me wrong, my rep was nice enough, but why am I paying for useless coverage? I don't need anything until the mfr expires. Paying for extra coverage for a year, while the mfr coverage is in place doesn't make sense.

I was told that if I paid for this insurance that I could get all of the electronics that get broken in my house fixed just by taking it in to this little business in my city, but that is a lie. First you have to file a claim online, but the process is unclear and when you think you have done it, you really haven't. So, I went to my appointment, and they said that I still couldn't get it fixed. Then when I asked the company to help me, they got me on the phone to update my info and file a claim, but then they denied my claim because my information did not match. They will not do anything but take your money!

Tip for consumers:
Don't pay for the insurance. Save the money and buy a new one. It will cost less in time and frustration!

Filing the claim was like digging a needle from a haystack. Initial personal were abrupt and rude till a lady was absolutely patient with me, taking me through the claim process entirely.
Then came the weekly emails saying repairs were ongoing. I appreciated the process. Due to the rocky filing the claim process I honestly wasn't expecting anything good or positive.
I get an emailing asking me to choose a replacement for my claim from an email and website I couldn't associate with Asurion. Ignore. Too many scammers.
Another email saying you have till tomorrow to choose. I called a number and was told I have to choose as my laptop couldn't be repaired. I hang up and call Asurion and go the assurance it was a legit but someone failed to communicate the conclusion.
I received a brand new replacement laptop that beat me expectations.

Though I would like to see lower deductibles, overall I would say that Asurion kept their end of the bargain, and they had a replacement phone in my hands the following day.
Though I'm sure the replacement is a refurbished phone, one would be hard pressed to find a flaw.
