Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.

Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.

I had to recently replace my note 20+ due to a accident. I drove to Verizon and since its insured through Asurian I would have to file a claim with them. Did it while I was at Verizon only to have to wait for about 20 min. On hold. Finally got someone only to be disconnected. The guy at Verizon got through to them for me. Relcieved the replacement phone Wednesday and today is Saturday. Haven't been able to get the phone to work. Endless hours and still no functioning phone. I'm burnt on this issue that wouldn't be happening if Asurian would have set the phone up like they are supposed to. Useless insurance and will only cost YOU time and money.

This is the first Time I have used Asurion protection plan and would recommend it to everybody! They were friendly and prompt helping me get my claim filed.

Tip for consumers:
I have no complaints and they were phenomenal in helping me with my claim.

Wouldnt Recommend. 1 Claim for an Acer Laptop. Filed May 18th. Filed three times after speaking with 8 Asurion Reps and uploading the same document which I was walked through by three reps to receive an email to start the process over. As each one stated it is covered.
Today after 8 transfers to customer service later I just told myself I will buy myself a new laptop which will only take 30mins instead of the 7 hours + stress as I wait 10 days for the $100+ claim fee. Which they wanted to charge again and that is what made my decision easier.
"Our passion is keeping customers connected & secure" Lies as this should of been a 1 2 3 l step process like the first customer support told me which turned to 17 reps. 17 Verification codes, 3 chats and 5 phone calls.

My experience so far has been pretty painless with Asurion. I can't really say the same for the actual repair company though. The repair company had my 65 inch tv for 10 days before they even ordered the part. On the 19th day they contacted me to say that it couldn't be repaired. Asurion contacted me before the repair company to offer me a replacement. They replaced my 65 inch with a 70 inch. The only difference was that I will be receiving an Android tv instead of a Roku. They are comparable but I personally like the Roku tv better. Of course my husband was pleased to be getting one that is a little larger! I just ordered the replacement today, so I hope that it all works out!

Called for replacement phone. For over an hour I was sent from the claims department to the review/override department because their system had an error. Because their system couldn't be overridden, they told me to call back tomorrow. I needed my phone to travel so just by chance I called Apple care to see if I still had coverage and by golly I did. Apple not only gave me a new phone for the measily $5.16 I pay a month but they took care of it in less than 15 minutes and I have a new phone to travel. Asurion, big mistake. I will be taking the rest of my 15 lines to apple care. Apple care is less expensive and more professional at every level. Only had to talk to one person rather than 4 and I paid $150 for a new phone and not $149 for a refurbished piece of junk... Adios Asurion!

Seven phone calls and five hours later, I still have not received my replacement phone that I was promised. And talk about rude customer service... Leann and Lahoya, specifically, should be fired. (On the other hand, Waylin and Relinda were very helpful).

I'll NEVER use these guys again!

My screen cracked at 9:30pm on a Saturday and I was able to get it repaired at 12:00pm on a Sunday. The location was close by and convenient. The customer service was fantastic. You can't tell I ever even needed a new screen. It was repaired so quickly I was without my phone for an hour tops. Also, I paid $59 for the new screen opposed to the $300+ it would have costed without my insurance.

I did not have any option to choose between devices. I was explained that the device I was getting was an upgrade and actually the replacement device is way too inferior to my original phone. The only upgrade on that replacement device is that is 5G, but in quality is not worth it. I payed insurance for more than a year to deal with this hassle. I'm cancelling my subscription and posting a review on this. They said that I would get a reimbursement of $568 so I could the phone I wanted somewhere else, but I had to pay $200 deductible for filing a claim. So, at the end I was just getting $368 after substracting the deductible. No worth it to pay for this insurance when I can save that monthly payment for future device or fix.

Tip for consumers:

I filled a claim with this company per AT&T and went through all the proper steps and the phone rep fixing my phone at the AT&T store in Cave Springs broke my phone and admited it. Then they give me the number to asurion instead of taking care of the problem in the store and now im on my 2hour wild goose chase just to get ahold of someone. I then am asked to fill out additional paperwork followed by a 24hr approval process all to get my phone that they broke. This company is a total joke!

Hi,
So I am a Over the Road Truck Driver. My Samsung S22 Ultra fell out of my semi and landed on the screen. Iv had this happen in the past, however iv never so much as cracked a screen. This time how ever the entire left side shattered and it rapidly spidered the entire screen.
I call Asurion via phoneclaim.com.
Was immediately handed to a representative who effectively knew what I needed and mentioned mobile service. I however did not know Asurion had a Mobile Service available. The convenience of having someone come directly to a truck stop or customer and work on my screen to get it replaced was top notch and amazing. Very fast, on time, courteous, great communication from the tech on ETA, fast repair, arrived, fixed, gone withing 45 minutes tops. 10/10+.

Iphone XR to Iphone 14 switch over did great but cell service would not link or connect to new Iphone 14 after the "activation set up" between phones. I have been an Asurion customer since ever since they were integrated into Verizon's Mobile protect plan and was been generally happy with the service / peace of mind it provides. The charger port on a recently upgraded phone I purchased last year broke, and I received a refurbished replacement phone (covered by the original warranty) delivered by Asurion in short order.
The replacement phone then proceeded to continue to restart randomly on its own, and over time had gotten progressively worse until the phone became unusable. In late August, I went to the Verizon store where for 2 hours with the Verizon customer service representative and I were passed back and forth between Asurion and Verizon phone representatives. I counted speaking to at least 9 different representatives who had no record of the previous conversation, blindly talking through a script without listening to what we were actually saying, and ultimately deflected responsibility without providing any possible solutions. I then had to spend another 4 hours with tech support that night to prove the issue was not due to software I installed and that the phone (lemon) needed to be replaced. Asurion then charged me a $230 deductible in order to replace the unusable phone. When I asked if any compromise could be made considering the circumstances (the replacement phone became unusable over time with no damage), they told me that there is no lemon law in Florida!
It is clear this company's policy are designed to prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. I will no longer use Asurion nor recommend their service to anyone else.

I'm so frustrated with this company. 2 months ago my wife broke her phone. The guy from Asurion came to the house and replaced it. He told us about the coverages that they offer. We chose the one that covered everything in the house (TV's, appliances, gaming consoles). Fast forward to today, Christmas morning. When I went to get creamer out of the fridge for my coffee I noticed it was warm. Everything was warm and we lost everything. My wife was devastated while the kids opened gifts. I put the positive spin on it and told her that's why we signed up for the coverage. It would cover lost food and all. I then went to make the claim. I was told that we were only signed up for gadgets in the house. I continued to explain that was not the case. Just continued to get the corporate "sorry" and "we understand sir" response. No one wanted to make it right. They said I could sign up and after 31 days I could file a claim. 31 days! I explained that I have been enrolled for 2 months and just waive the 31 days. I'll pay any deductible or whatever. Let's just make it right! They won't do it! So they can come in my house, lie to my wife and I, take my money and when it comes time to file a claim. They take no responsibility! So here on Christmas morning our fridge is dead, food is wasted and Asurion has my money. I bet they "really understand sir".

Had policy for approx 2 mo. Filed claim on a laptop screen. (Waited way too long for repairs to be completed!) Had policy for 2-3 months after filing the claim and then canceled policy to tighten up budget. FAQs say "You can cancel your Asurion Home+ service at any time. You'll receive a prorated refund of your monthly fee upon canceling." What they don't mention is that if you've filed a claim EVER on your policy, you will receive ZERO refund. Will never do business with them again.

Tip for consumers:
If you ever file a claim and then cancel your policy any duration into the future, you will not be eligible for a refund of any prorated portion of your monthly fee that would have otherwise been returned.

The service is pretty good but there are draw backs Especially if phone is stolen You login into AT&T to report problem. AT&T sends you a code (to the stolen/broken phone-doesn't really make sense to me) I was OK cause I had 2 phones on the account. However, over process is fairly short, could use more room to explain details. Particularly if phone stolen on won't work. Last Not sure if this is tied specifically to AT&T or not, but if it is, You really need to work on the service after the phone is received. AT&T customer service always say they can help but it's ALWAYS a struggle to get even a tiny bit of real help. One of the reasons I only upgrade when I absolutely have to. I like my services but absolutely HATE my customer service It never ceases to amaze me how much they don't listen or help and make excuses

A technician came to my home and instead of reparing my TV, left it at my home.
The screen itself wasn't cracked. They could of replaced the lights of the lid.
I would like a reimbursement of everything I have paid to Asurion for bot providing the services promised.
You were supposed to replace the tv if you can't fix it

You cannot separate the broken screen ($30) from any other cosmetic damage to the phone (back glass)so they consider the whole phone a loss ($200).

Straight up GARBAGE and deceptive practices expect no less from Verizon and their partners.

Asurion and Medy made filing a claim so easy and fast. This is the second time I have filed a claim on electronic items and both times, Asurion assisted me with filing my claims. I have filed claims with other companies for other appliances and ended up with a broken refrigerator in my home for over a month and a half while that warranty company sent me in circles trying to complete the claim for a refrigerator I had in my home less than 24hrs before it died. I highly recommend spending the extra money to purchase an Asurion warranty for anything electrical from Amazon, you won't regret it.
