Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I called number, gave me website. Went in filed claim, paid deductible, and phone will be here tomorrow. It us such an easy way of doing it. It is the only way to go.
Everything about this process was fast and easy. There were no complications. I am beyond happy with my experience and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

When I tried to file a claim, Asurion ran their trouble shooting exercise and told me it was a software problem. I spent $100 on a computer tech to document that it was not a software problem and called Asurion back 3 weeks later to open a claim. They told me I had to run the trouble shooting exercise AGAIN and I had to raise my voice to tell them I would not do that and the problem is hardware. Then they gave me incorrect instructions for the UPS pick up, saying UPS would notify me when they were coming, which they did not, so UPS left a "sorry we missed you note," and the Asurion website says they won't make another attempt. After paying for a 4-year warranty and using it for the first time after 2 years into the warranty, this is the biggest rip-off and BS ever.

FILED A CLAIM WITH THIS COMPANY OVER TWO WEEKS AGO AND ASKED FOR A SHIPPING ENVELOPE TO RETURN MY PHONE WITH A DAMAGED SCREEN... STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ENVELOPE! PHONES CUSTOMER SERVICE THREE TIMES... STILL NO ENVELOPE... WOULD I USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY AGAIN? ABSOLUTELY NO WAY AND I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT EITHER... VERIZON IS VERY REMISS IN RECOMMENDING THEM AT ALL. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I dropped my phone and broke my screen. I was told simply bring this to an AT&T store and your insurance will cover it. I did that and they tell me that I need to go to a UbreakIfix store. I went to the store and the nice gentlemen told me that they cant fix it because the back of the phone has one crack in it. I called insurance and reluctantly paid the outrageous 225$ to receive a replacement. Appointment was set for 7-9pm, the expert never showed up and never called. Instead of rescheduling they stuck my phone in the mail and now it will take 2 more days to come to me. This is more expensive and more time consuming than just paying to have the phone fixed yourself. Absolutely horrible costumer service and misleading tactics. HORRIBLE COMPANY

I cracked my outer screen of my zfold 4 & it started spreading very badly. I took it to uBreakiFix by Asurion. They was very professional & said I had to have it replaced. Asuncion charge a fair amount & I got my Zfold 5 delivered n 2 days. Thx The gentleman who help me was a black man & he was very professional. Thx Bro.
Phone was cracked in the front. Set up an appointment online, and two days later somebody was at my door to fix it. Only took about 20 minutes and gentleman was really nice.
We sent our Verizon phone in for a claim, it was dropped in water. We paid 1,000 for the phone and $159 for the co-pay on the insurance claim. Within a couple days of getting it back, a hacker was on the phone, messing with the audio, opening spreadsheets, and putting in passwords. We did a factory reset and the hacker was back in 20 seconds before the prompts even finished. We were told this is indicative of a hardwire hack. We are in covid virus isolation so NOBODY had this phone except my husband and I. The person typed in Spanish on my phone. Asurion would not take the phone back or even redeem our $159 copay, because we waited 7 days. We didn't even know it happened in 7 days!
I am very unhappy with the Protection plan offered by Asurion for JP Penney. I purchased many appliances through JP Penney IN 2018 and got protection plans on all of them. I had to use this for one Samsung over-the-range microwave a few times, and it always had problems, and they came and fixed it.Today i called them for the issue, and they said you have used us the maximum amount of time so we can help you. I was told please read terms and condition and which is 15 pages long in the fine prints. I told them why you guys don't let us know when you are selling this policy at the store and when we call you guts all the time you need to lets us know. The procedure should say there is limit for each appliances and they should let us know when we call them up.I will give zero review if there was one for as they are not transparent when they sell and even brochure do not have this most important.I am going to better business bure and all the other good reviews sites and also put an twitter.The number is called *******971 and was inform this today.

My exterior home security camera died after about 1-1/2 years. Fortunately I purchased the Asurion plan and had the claim settled in about 5 minutes. Much less painful than I expected. Thumbs up!

To file the claim online was surprisingly easy. I had two choices for my completely unusable phone: Make an appointment an hour away (closest available) and have to take off work or wait 6 days for a tech to come to my house. I chose to wait. The day of the appointment I get a text. "There is a part that has not made it to the store. Contact Asurion to reschedule." I have SO many problems with this. 1. The one part is a new screen for my iPhone 11. How is that out of stock? 2. I have waited 6 days and you don't even say "We are sorry to inconvenience you. We will contact you as soon as the part arrives. Here is a number you can call..." NOTHING. 3. I texted back and asked if I would be contacted when the part arrived and waited. Tried to call an hour later and my number had been blocked. 4. I called customer service and was on the phone 1 hour and 35 minutes to reschedule for 5 days later. My only two other options were to drive more than 2 hours one way from my home for an appointment, wait 5 days and hope they don't cancel, or order a new phone. They tried to sell me on new coverage plans at the end of the call! Are you kidding? I added up the cost. $8.99/mo for 12 months I have paid = 108 + $49 deductible for the repair = $157 and 11 days wait (if they show up) OR I could have taken it to a repair place 15 mins away for $189 with a 10% off coupon. Asurion is horrible. Never again.
