Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
The technician who arrived at the house was phenomenal and made the experience overall excellent but asurion phone advisors and online "start a claim"(process) could use some improvements.
This was the most painless experience I've had with replacing a phone screen. Asurion made it very easy and the store I worked with had fantastic customer service.

I have had good and bad experiences with Asurion. Because of my good experience several years ago, I purchased a "36 Month In-Store Replacement Plan" from Asurion for an item from the Guitar Center. The Guitar Center said if the product was under $200 (which it was), just bring it in and they would replace it on the spot. I called before I went to the store in August 2023, and the Guitar Center representative stated this again.
When I got to the store, no one seemed to know what to do. The manager said Asurion's policy had changed, even though they had the old brochure on their counter. A customer representative called Asurion and Asurion opened a claim. Asurion said they would send a label and I had to send the product to them and they would send a gift card for the item. It took about a week before I received it, and I had to make another trip to the store. Then the store required an additional payment of $74, because the price of the identical item had increased. The increased price was still under $200. I don't think anything in the terms of the agreement (purchased in 2020) said that the customer would have to pay an increase in the price of the product during the warranty period, and if it did, the store should notify customers of this at the time of purchase.

I was referred to Asurion by the AT&T store in Oak Lawn, IL regarding issues with my IPhone...i think it took all of 8 seconds to solve the problem...i WILL recommend Asurion and if I encounter any additionalm problems, I feel confident of their resolution
ASURION IS A JOKE OF A COMPANY. IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEY OVERCHARGE FOR THEIR SERVICE, AND THE REPLACEMENT PHONES PROVIDED ARE REFURBISHED PHONES THAT DO NOT WORK!
Asurion in my opinion is the best warranty offered by anyone. I have about 15 items insured. The warranty claims are handled with ease anytime I have a problem. 5 stars across the board. Thank you.
It took me a total of about 10 minutes to file a claim and do a return for replacement. I am so glad I chose this warranty. I will definitely purchase this plan in the future.
I lost my phone while on an airplane trip. Fortunately my insurance covers it. I had to call the local AT&T office to get the web site address but then it was a piece of cake.
I purchased an LG side-by-side refrigerator in Spring 2019 from Home Depot. Although I usually do not purchase extended warranties on appliances, I decided to purchase a 5-year extended warranty plan this time. I'm glad I did! The ice maker stopped producing and dispensing ice in September 2022. I called LG directly, thinking that they were the folks to talk to since I had an extended warranty, but they told me that the warranty was actually with Home Depot so I would have to call Home Depot to schedule a repair. However, they did patiently walk me through a lot of troubleshooting steps, none of which resulted in fixing my ice maker. So I called Home Depot, and they connected me with Asurion. It was very easy to talk with the Asurion rep and schedule the repair appointment. Asurion texted me frequently to keep me informed, which was great. The technician (Nate) also texted me when he was headed to my house and once he actually arrived. Nate installed a brand new ice maker, which works perfectly. Nate was friendly, courteous, and very competent at his job. The installation was pretty quick, and then Nate explained what I should do now that the new unit was installed (that it could take up to 24 hours for the ice maker to start producing ice, and I should throw out the first couple of ice cube dumps because the ice might taste a little plastic). I followed his instructions (except I threw the initial ice dumps into my plants because there is a drought here!), and now my family is enjoying our ice maker very much! Thanks, Nate, and thanks to Asurion for doing a great job!
Asurion customer service entered the serial number of my laptop incorrectly into their system. When I went to drop off the laptop for repair at the UBREAKIFIX store, they couldn't take it because the serial number in the Asurion system didn't match the serial number on my laptop. I made multiple calls to Asurion and each time was assured the serial number was corrected in their system. I then made multiple trips and placed multiple phone calls to UBREAKIFIX and they said the serial number was still incorrect in the Asurion system. Asurion is a tech company and they couldn't get the serial number to appear correctly in their own tech system! Several of the Asurion customer service reps were not only of no service but one was extremely rude, stating that my call had gone on too long. Too long? The metrics for his personal performance were more important than fixing the problem of the incorrect serial number in their system.
