Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I had my phone about 3 months before one drop while seated in a chair cracked the back. I pay $15 a month for insurance with this company and made a claim. After being with ATT for YEARS this is my ONLY claim. The only problem with this phone is a small crack on the back and easily fixable. THE COMPANY decides they'll send me another phone but I have to pay $250 deductible in addition to paying the monthly insurance. Ok that's reasonable.
What is not reasonable is for them to send me a used phone. I would much rather get my phone repaired and save the hassle of Data transfer, password recovery, and re-downloading everything that didn't cross over.
What made this worse is every time i called asurion for a label to send the broken device back, the phone mysteriously hangs up, no chat feature available, att tells me to drop the phone at a store which was inaccurate and finally on my ONLY off day from work I call them just to get a rep who emails me the return QR code that doesn't open. Here we are almost a month and in limbo

Technician arrived when he said he would, diagnosed the problem, came back the next day as promised, with the part, cleaned up afterwards, apologized for the water mess from the ice maker.
Melvin came to my home within a day or two of my filing, and was in and out, phone like new in less than 30 minutes. He was very friendly and personable.

Obtained the insurance through ATT, paid monthly for many years.
Now cracked screen. Called and THEY said: " No, we don't repair the screen, you need to change the phone with the whole deductible"
Went to ATT and it was a lie, they scheduled the repairment online for me, for a week later at a certain frame time.
Day of repair. End of the frame time.
Called to find out and! NOT COMING! A PIECE (PHONE GLASS NEED TO BE ORDERED?!?!?!?)
What kind of unprofessional and horrible company is this one! I hope ATT changes the company who they do business! Or I will have the same opinion of ATT (not far from this statement)
Everytime I had called Customer Service was kind and understanding. I went and had my phone fixed at a local store and it was done within the time I was given. It's perfect! Thank you!
Repairman Edwin was friendly and knowledgeable. He ordered correct parts which arrived in two days. Then he came back and installed them in just a few minutes. He did a great job.
My controller broke and luckily I put the warranty on it and the help guy was cool, they told me exactly what to do to get the refund, and it only took a few minutes

I ordered a Samsung Note 10 replacement.
Had to replace a shattered screen. Online set up was easy. Guy showed up when he was supposed to. Took the phone out, fixed the screen and replaced the battery in less than 30 minutes.
The experience I had was very helpful it was simple all I had to do was give them My phone ask The Staff a couple of questions hand them the phone and wait about two hours come back and pick up the phone.
Jaclyn was my tech and she did a great job. Very patient with me. She answered my questions so that I was able to get my phone working again correctly. Very happy with this experience.
I had a bad experience with Asurion a long time ago and swore I would never use them for insurance again. When I bought my Iphone xs the verizon rep somehow convinced me that things had changed and got better and that I should get insurance on the phone. He basically made it sound like i could walk into verizon with my broke phone and walk out with another one. Well surprise surprise, my phone is broken and I've been paying for 2 years for insurance. I have to jump through all these hoops to get my phone replaced including printing off and faxing in an affidavit. We didn't have to do this to replace my wife's phone which was super easy and done online. It took us forever to get a rep on the phone and then all she would say is there is nothing she can (likely would) do. When asked why mine was such a dog and pony show process, the only response we could get is that each claim is different, thats it. No reason, its just crazy random happenstance. Basically sometimes you walk outside and its rain, and sometimes its piss. And there is no rhyme or reason why, or if there is, they aren't going to share it with you. They don't try to help you or act like they care. This is the second time i've had a horrible experience with this company. Personally if I heard in the news that this company burned to the ground (figuratively or literally) i'd probably do a happy dance. Any person considering signing up should instead just stick back their $15 every month, by the time they'd need to use it they'd have enough to pretty much buy a new phone.

Our tv stopped working. Filled out the claim got an email pretty quickly about options to pick from. Then never got emails after that. Called like a week later and they said oh you will get it on the 9th. Which was still a couple days. The tv was busted when arrived.i called them and talked to them. They said they have to reach out to Walmart to return the item and they would not get anything back from Walmart for 48 hours. Never got a call back. Called back like 4 days later and they said that a freight company would have to come back and get the tv. They could not resend a new one until it showed picked. It was another week for them to pick up. I was told right when they pick up I can call and they can re purchase the item. Well I called in and they said oh we don't know what tv we sent you so I have to email another department and it will take 48 business hours. This was on a Friday. It was Tuesday when we Heard something back. Now I am still waiting because the tv they ordered isn't even in stock.

Unbelievable positive experience! While talking with the Samsung technician, an Asurion appointment was already generated. I was surprised that it would fall on December 26th at 9am, since most companies recognized that as a holiday. The Asurion repair technician called that morning to state he was on his way. Surprising again, was that our community had received over 22 inches of snow the past two days during the Christmas Week Blizzard. D'Andre arrived 30 minutes after confirming the appointment eager to get our fridge fixed. He was a very pleasant man that was knowledgeable about the issue we had, he was willing to discuss the 'why' around the process, and was confident that his work would get the unit back to producing ice. He was right! He spent a good hour thoroughly examining and repairing the problem. Not often does a repair technician make a single trip, but D'Andre, had everything he needed in the backpack and what was sent to our house from Samsung. If there was a way to request a technician in the future, I would strongly recommend D'Andre and beg Asurion to send him out again. Thanks D'Andre!
I've had asurion for many of my devices and this is the best option they have yet. Nice and easy process to repair my phone, and the tech was really nice.
I dropped my phone off to be fixed, they estimated a 2 and a half hour fix time & it was ready not long after I returned to pick it up. Kevin did a great job & I'm very happy to have my phone fixed.
A rating of 1 is generous! We purchased a bike from $#*!'s and were offered the Asurion protection plan. I sure wish I had read some of the reviews first. The very first thing we did was upload our receipt so we didn't have to keep track of it. My grandson had a flat tire within a week and Asurion didn't cover this. I found this out after asking to upload my receipt again and spending over 30 minutes chatting with an agent. Then we had an issue with his breaks a few months in. Again, I made a claim... they have to approve it first which I find ridiculous, but once again they wanted me to send a copy of the receipt where we purchased the bike and the plan. Hello people, we uploaded it to your site 2 months ago... twice! Then they want pictures... the break doesn't work... pictures are going to tell you nothing! We ended up taking it to $#*!'s... the same gentleman who helped us purchase it. He took a part off of another part and fixed it for us for free... no questions asked. Now that's service, already completed when Asurion hasn't even began the claim because they need pictures of the receipt... what a joke! I would recommend NOT purchasing their plans!
