Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
Filed a claim on my samsung galaxy z fold 2, denied the same color, they offered a different color and they said that they do not know when they will send me the different color phone... they just wanted me to use the malfunctioning phone. They never offered an interim phone nor they can tell me a date they can send me a phone. They asked for my credit card info even without having the phone in stock... when asked why my credit card details are required one of them said that I have to pay a deductible eventhough it is a manufacturer warranty, one of them said that its for return shipping costs... finally they took my credit card but for what?
So you buy a phone worth of 2000 dollars and that phone starts malfunctioning in 6 months, and since samsung care is handled by assurion, assurion makes your life hell by denying every request... all I get is a plain answer_ ' no '... at one point one of the managers pretended that she could not hear me and she hung up the call. The paper work is cumbersome and it is not online... had to print and scan stuff in this digital era... never again I will buy an samsung phone or use assurion...
I was very frustrated as my phone wasn't working and Tasharica was calming and solved my problem. She was friendly and connected and helped ease my stress

I had a scheduled repair for my dishwasher from 1-5pm. After waiting until 4:30pm I decided to call and they told me that no one was coming and to call the manufacturer. No wonder they average 1star.

Our TV went bad and we were unable to file a claim online, lots of trouble with the forms, finally gave up and called. Part of our issues are that when we first signed-up for HomeTech Protect we were given very little information, guidance and instructions. The fallacy that everything has to be electronic only is just that; a fallacy! So we finally got to a live person, good job taking all the information on the phone. Nice, seamless completion on a follow-up email. Noticed on our forms that the contact information was a phone number that I didn't recognize, discovered it was for cell service on one of our iPads. Tried in vain to get it changed to the primary account holder's cell phone of record, fearing the delivery company would try to call the number that would never ring or take a text. Ascurion said they couldn't change it, AT&T said no that's wrong, call Ascurion back. Was literally on hold when the doorbell rang and it was BestBuy asking if they were in the right place and why didn't we answer their calls or text. So the end result was good, but boy we surely had issues getting there! Please work on fixing some of these issues, Ascurion and thank you!

Having insurance is extremely one of.the best ideas to have for your phone it has helped threw once being stolen and twice when it was damaged
I've been paying Verizon for home protrct for quite a while and actually needed them(asurion) and was presented with issue after issue. I was extremely upset and wanted to elevate the matter, but then they gave me an absolutely fantastic rep name Danica. She absolutely positively turned around my mindset about the company and the service. They dare ask if they could've done anything better. Before I got possibly the greatest rep "ever", I was like, " man, please". After the constant callbacks, problem solving skills and the dedication that she displayed, my answer is Nothing. Danica (hopefully I spelled her name correctly) was absolutely awesome. She was attentive, caring, knowledgeable, charming and extremely helpful. Gove her a raise, make her the manager. She is absolutely fantastic, other reps wouldn't attempt to go the extra miles that she did. She is truly an asset. Thanks for hiring her, my situation was ridiculous until she came aboard. I was initially slightly rude to her in the beginning because of past reps. She won me over and she and her customer service star etiquette won me over.
While this service is good, just be prepared to spend some time on the phone getting your new phone set up.

The gentleman was very polite and it was repaired in a timely manner. Had to have my broken screen replaced.
I purchased a Asurion protection plan for a item I purchased on Amazon as a just in case thing. Asurion kept spamming my inbox for a positive review, so I left them a one star review saying that I had not had any misfortune with the product I purchased the Asurion protection plan for and therefore couldn't leave Asurion a positive review, because they had not done anything but take my payment. If there was a problem with the product I purchased and Asurion took care of it in a satisfactory manner I would have left them a good review for that.
I received a notice from Amazon/Asurion saying they could not print such vulgarness in their review section, my review would be removed and from then on I could no longer leave product reviews.
There was nothing vulgar in my review unless they feel the truth is somehow vulgar or are in the business of rejecting any reviews they don't like in order to simply make themselves look perfect to people who read the reviews and might be considering buying the Asurion plan.
It's not like I'm desperate to leave product reviews, but I always do and all I have left for sellers on Amazon have been positive and done in a timely fashion. I just don't like being accused of doing something I did not do is all.

Phone gets stolen. Go to Verzion to get a new phone. I get told your insurance claim is through asurion. I go to store front clerk is not helpful puts me on a computer to do his job. Computer ask for picks of documentation. Hello I have no phone. Clerk is no help sends me to Verzion as he tells me Verzion is lazy and should do their job. Verzion manager fills out all asurion documentation and send it to them, because he gets my phone is stolen. Once documentation is in have to get in phone to talk to asurion customer service representative. Asurion does not recognize my number, I am like really aserion my number is suspended. Well Verzion manager comes and gets an asurion rep on the phone she is absolutely no help. We have to review your claim. I am like I did the claim for you well actually the Verzion manager did. So how long will this take 3 to 4 hours. I am like cool asurion store front will still be open. Uuuugggggghhhhhhhhh no you can't pick your insurance claim up through or store we will mail it to you. I am like ma'am your whole business model is pointless, but then I am like know actually genius I and the Verzion manager did all the work and aserion got paid. I sit writing this review thinking dang I should have come up with this business model.
