I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!

I pay insurace for my verizon devices, the insurace is through Asurion. My phone stopped working, not because of something I did. It was an issue with device itself. I submitted a claim, they made me jump through a million hoops. I they told me they werent going to cover it. I contiuned to push and eventually they told me they would cover it. The device was suppose to arrive today between 5pm-7pm. They assured me it would be here. IT DIDNT COME. I then called Asurion to fingure out what was going on. I was on hold for 1 and 1/2 hours. After that, of course they tell me the device isnt coming. They said it needed to be shipped out the next day. I need my phone for work! Why do I even pay insurance. I will never pay this BS again. I still don't have a phone!
I was extremely pleased with the excellent and fast service with Asurion. They fixed my IPhone within 15 minutes right in front of my own home.

Filed a claim for a cracked screen. They came to my house 2 days later and replaced it in 20 minutes. Simple and great customer service!
When I I bought my cell phone, I decided to pay a monthly fee for an extended warranty against water damage, theft, screen damage, among others... When I called to make it effective since my phone broke, I was told that I had to pay a ridiculous deductible which was near the price of getting in my own a new phone. The protection plan was supposed to cover a new cell phone as a replacement, but instead, this company sent a refurbished cell phone, which was defective since the 1st day. I had to ship it back, and as it was not my fault that they send a defective device, they were not supposed not charge the deductible again. But guess what?. They did charge the deductible for a 2and time. They claimed it was not their fault but the cell phone company's fault. This was not the case since the cell phone company had nothing to do with the warranty protection offered thriugh a 3rd party company, Asurion. Multiple calls and worst customer service ever. Not accountable and very dishonest. I checked other reviews and it seems this is the modus operandi with this company. Stay away. Save your time and $.
This is against Asurian home insurance, been with this company for more than 6 years I pay the monthly dues and rarely use them, my hp printer stopped working I called them they said it is covered and we did trouble fix first the printer had brand new original hp ink cartilages I bout it fir 125$
After eating one week fir the printer to be fixed I received an email with not that they are compensating me 100$ fir the printer and it can not be fixed, I requested a replacement they said no I requested the new ink cartilages which coast me 125$ to be returned to me they said no I requested an increase in the compensation since a new printer with same specification will coast around 420$ they said no
So it is we just pay you 100$ which is less than they coast of the ink
This is not acceptable
We're is the customer protection agency? Are they a sleep?
Why I was not told from the start that if they can not fix it I will be compensated 100$ and there is no replacement?
Why they asked me to send brand new original ink cartilages with the printer?
Tip for consumers:
Ask how much they will compensate you in case they don’t fix the item before sending them the product amount of compensation coverage on their web site is false
