I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!
I received a total of two telephones and neither one I could be heard when talking. I'm pretty certain that I'll be taken care of properly and accordingly.
Asurion is HORRIBLE! They have you pay up front (no biggie I understand it's life) That's not where the problem comes into play. The problem is they mess the labels up so it's "undeliverable" Or you might ask for a signature but you know what asurion says yeah we will set it up like that & doesnt, but wait there is more after 2 different attempts to deliver my phone on the 3rd they make you fill out paperwork and have it notarized lol as if it wasn't enough stress spending 1-2 hours on the phone with them everyday for a month straight to get a phone I paid $ 275 on 9/17/21 that I still have yet to receive btw it's 10/14/21. I just spent an hour on the phone on hold for a lady to play as if she didn't hear me in the middle of the call before giving me a solution to my problem because she couldn't make a sale off me. (She isn't the only one who did me like this.)
I've worked in retail and in commission based structure and it's always SOLVE FIRST THEN SELL! There should be no excuse as to why your customer service reps should operate like this.

I was paying $15 a month for Sprint Complete, with insurance provided by Asurion. My Galaxy S10 chargimg port wasn't working, so the Asurion rep said I would get a BRAND NEW phone to replace mine because the port wouldn't be able to be fixed. He specified brand new and also specified that I could keep my old phone, especially when I questioned why the deductible was so high ($225). So I reluctantly went along with it since the phone would be new and I could keep my old one. Well, what I received was a refurbished phone and an envelope to return my old phone. I called and escalated it of to the "Office of the CEO". A lawyer type woman tried to spin me with legal fine print (her name was Karen) but I pointed out that this was fraud (something they will remind you about while on hold, but obviously they only worry about YOU committing fraud, not them). Eventually she agreed to send me a brand new Galaxy S10 as a 1 time courtesy. I received it. Refurbished again. Didn't feel like wasting more time, soI tried to set it up. Error activating. Chatted with Sprint. Error activating. Took it to TMobile/Sprint. Apparently the phone was locked to someone else's number. So I had to return it. Talked to Asurion AGAIN. A woman told me that since I've been patient I will get a brand new Galaxy S21. Went over all the specs and was assured it was brand new. I just had to wait to check myphoneclaim.com the next day. When I did, I saw I was getting a refurbished S10. I called them and they asked for my credit card number, and told me that is in case I don't return the NON WORKING phone, they would charge me $850! I was shocked (not really with these criminals). I told them I would send the phone, NO WAY are they getting my credit card number, and demanded my $225 deductible back. I am still waiting. I filed a dispute with my credit card company today. PLEASE do not use these people. PLEASE spread the word. Maybe if everyone speaks up we can put these criminals/liars/fraudsters out of business. Worst company ever. Please share. Oh, and on a side note, I had a local shop repair my port, so it seems that the whole scam was to get my $225 deductible and Galaxy S10. Please beware.
I ordered a phone through Verizon, and chose the delivery option of having an "expert asurion technician" deliver and set up this new phone at home that same day. I selected the delivery time frame between 5pm-7pm. It stated that a technician named Angel would be arriving to assist.
I eagerly waited for this delivery, anxiously tidying up the place, under the impression that Angel would be entering my home to do the setup. At 6:52, I get a text alert saying, "good news, Angel is on the way!" Immediately after, within the same minute, another text was sent saying, "Angel is here!"
I went outside, no one in sight. Not even any vehicles on my block indicating a technician was around. Two minutes later, "Congrats, Angel has delivered your device! Click the link to let us know how we did!" I clicked the link, an error message came up, and was not even grammatically correct ("The link you have followed has not found"). I was starting to get concerned that Asurion was not a legitimate company.
No one delivered my phone to me. It required a signature for the package, and again, it stated this person would be helping me transfer the data off of my old phone onto the new one. No phone delivered, no setup done, even though text alerts and the Asurion website stated otherwise. I called the number provided for my technician, a woman answered and said I had the wrong number.
Called Verizon, now at this point, sobbing, under the impression my phone either was stolen from the driver or delivered to the wrong place. Verizon also verified that this seemed suspicious, and was able to tell me that, "Normally UPS or FedEx picks these orders up... We're seeing a different company called Logistix picked your order up." Either way, so... Not picked up by an "Asurion technician"?
Verizon then today had to cancel my original order, marking the package as lost/stolen. I will never use this Asurion delivery option ever again in my life. If you are using outside delivery companies, please don't give your customers the impression a technician is arriving to help. Do better background checks on your delivery companies/drivers/techs. What a stressful waste of time. I have now ordered a different phone and will be picking it up at an actual Verizon store.
This was not a good first experience with your company, and again, it makes me doubt your legitimacy and/or the head people in charge of this business.

I purchased an ASURION phone protection plan for my son's iPhone on 11/28/21 with 2 years' worth of coverage. He had an accident with it, so I filed a claim on 4/27/22. They say once the phone is received it will be 3 business days for an answer. I shipped out his phone THAT SAME DAY. One month went by and I STILL hadn't heard anything. Finally, I message them to see what was taking so long. AGAIN, they tell me I would hear something within 3 days. One week later, 6/2/22, I still hadn't heard anything, so I message them again. This time they could see I already contacted them and again promised I would hear within 3 days. The next day, 6/3/22, I received an email saying "We're emailing you a gift card. Look for it in a separate email in the next 24-72 hours. ". This is what I was emailed on 6/4/22: "We've reviewed your claim and approved it. Your fulfillment is on its way. We'll email you a gift card for $***. Your gift card will arrive within 24-72 hours.". On 6/6/22 I was emailed this: "We have attempted to contact you twice today on your phone number ending in **** but only reached your Voicemail. Please contact us back at *******924 for the re-processing of your Service Fee Payment." I call back and speak with someone and give them my cc number again. THEN, on 6/9/22 I receive THIS email: "We're reviewing the details you shared. We'll get back to you within 3 business days about next steps." AND ANOTHER PHONE CALL for the EXACT SAME REASON saying my fee wasn't processing! I explained my frustration to a man who said it had to go to an exiting team? They were the only ones who know why this keeps happening. He called me today and basically told me he has NO NEWS still! He told me this exiting team conveniently has NO PHONES in their department. Now I know BS when I hear it, and this is straight up BS! At this point I feel like I am being LIED to and given the RUN AROUND! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY WHO WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND.
