Dropped my phone. No visible damage, but audio started to fail. Qualified for replacement at AT&T store. They started me with asurion. Online process simple. Phone arrived next day. Data transfer took longer. Only complaint, deductible cost ($275), but much cheaper than new phone.
Lost a phone, stop by the closest store so I could call or have them help me get the process started. Nope, manager could not dial 1-800 outgoing call, and then the online, asks to send a link to the phone. Someone has disconnect there, and totally forgot people can loose phones and what happens if the screen is so damaged you can't see it. Totally stupid! Drive home and call, now the representative 1st tells me it will be there that evening. Sweet, I wait, I wait, then check email that the delivery will not happen and they canceled my claim. Called back, filled another claim. Remember cannot do this online. They explained it had to come from a warehouse and would come next day, nope. Wrong again, came the day after.
I bought two watches for kids, well they both stopped working. I went to the Asurion warranty and started a claim. It went so smooth and on my way to get two more watches. Hope they will work better this time, if not, Asurion will be there to help out!
I had an issue with my computer chair, and was dreading it would take a bit to get a claim through but I was surprised how painless it was.
After damaging my i-phone, I went online to Asurion to file a claim. It was very easy and took me through the steps in a very logical and efficient manner. The replacement i Phone was quickly authorized, and I had the new replacement iPhone within two days. The instructions for saving and transferring the data to the new phone was very simple to follow. The instruction for returning the damaged iPhone was very easy to follow - utilizing the box, etc that the replacement came in. They even furnished the tape to reseal the box and included the return address label. Could not have been simpler.

I signed on to this plan about 3 years ago. I was sold on the porch that all stereo equipment, speakers and anything that is a smart device, meaning it connects through Wi-Fi was covered. I have a CATGENIE AI that broke down. It's a $600 Device that I just found out it's not covered. Not cool. If the sales people are selling and say anything that connects through Wi-Fi then that's what it should be. If you don't have it then you should add it to the list. ESPECIALLY if the pitch is "if it connects it's covered". Before you sign on ask for the list of covered devices!
I'm expecting for a callback to get this resolved as there was no assistance through the chat or phone call experience.
I was very pleased with my replacement. I tried on my computer to do the claim but when it came to choosing the device, it was not there. It said to contact them. I called their customer service and the claim was handled effortlessly.
I've never opted out of getting insurance with asurion while purchasing products on Amazon because they always come through so quickly.

I filled a claim for a lost stolen Samsung ultra 22 in September 2023 I received 3 replacements. The first device didn't work and was returned to ATT. The 2nd replacement device malfunctioned and was not returned until a new 3rd replacement device was shipped out and received April 11th, 2024. It took so long to process my claim I ended up buying an 1phone 15 pro max in the meantime I was charged for service fees on my ultra-22 and then charged a non-return fee this has taken 7 months its unduly. Its a racket.

The service was so fast I was shocked. Overnight! I started the transfer my phone went dead and then I was " FURIOUS " The sweet tech that was helping me tried to call me back twice and left me 2 voice messages. I can't remember her name. Then. I charged my phone up again and got it transferred and decided b4 I mess up something I better go in to the AT&T store and get some help and buy a case. Off I went and I got the help I needed and a blinged out case to hopefully keep me safe for another 6 years.
Cracking my screen has always been a pain and real inconvenience. When I tell you this wasn't either, believe it! The guy showed up at my house on time! He got my phone went out in my driveway and done needed the repairs, while I went about my morning getting ready for work! As I was fixing my cup of coffee for the road, h knocked on my door with my 100% repaired phone in hand ready for me as I go put the door! I was so impressed I got there tech protection for my home as soon as I got to work!

It's tough paying for something that you don't use often. But with every accidental screen crack or unintended damage they have been quick and supportive to get our phones repaired or replaced. Happy with the expense.
