This company is a scam. They claim they can change based on availability of their flower arrangements but WITHIN the same type and following the arrangement chosen. So what they do is create a mediocre arrangement that looks absolutely nothing like the one ordered and not the size specified making the customer feel embarrassed and angry realizing what the recipient received! Not to mention the worst customer service ruining in this case a Birthday. I need accountability from this company. I am beyond disappointed. NEVER ORDER FORM THEM!

It is now five days later, Monday, and there still are no flowers and I can't seem to get anyone to talk to me. MAJOR RIP OFF and needless to say I am very unhappy with their service.

Worst flower company - EVER. Literally made ordering flowers the biggest headache. I sent sympathy flowers to family - they came 5 days late. I ordered ALL WHITE sympathy flowers and they sent a rainbow of flowers. They also called the family member who was mourning over 5 times. Ridiculous. Save your time and money and do not use them.

I sent my daughter flowers for mothers day and spent a lot on the bouquet. They never arrived so I called to find out what was happening. Lets just say I called six times in a two week period to some call center only to be told they were coming the next day. They never arrived so a few weeks later I called and demanded a refund and they said of course they would with an apology but I never got the money back. All the phone calls were so frustrating and took so much time I finally gave up. Don't order from Avas Flowers!

I ordered a beautiful stand of white flowers for my dear friend of 50 years that passed unexpectedly. What they delivered was not what I ordered and embarrassing and unacceptable for my deepest condolences.Shame on them!

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day 3 days prior to the holiday. On the day it was supposed to be delivered, the order was cancelled and "refunded" due to Avas being "unable to fill" the order. I am still working to get my refund almost a week later, and it is impossible to speak with a real person on their useless customer service line. I have seen several reviews regarding the same issue, and it looks like a lot of other customers have had to contact their banks to dispute the charge. Do not order flowers here. This is not a legit company.

I will never use Ava Flowers again. I ordered an upgraded bouquet and my mother received half the size with mostly filler flowers. I paid $100 for a $20 bouquet. They fully refunded but made her leave the bouquet outside to pick it back up ( tacky). It was her 80th birthday. I was so disappointed. I've showed the one she got and the one advertised after ( which again was supposed to be upgraded). I picked this one because it was supposed to have carnations and none were included. It looks nothing like the advertised one! Also it advertises pink roses and red were given. Never will use again.

The ordering process was simple and straightforward, and having images helped. I was surprised when my wife showed me the message, which was printed on the delivery information ticket. The surprising part was to learn that the order was sub-contracted out to Safeway Floral. At no point during the ordering process was it disclosed that I was buying flowers from Safeway Floral, which has a lower value perception, and in reality also has a lower price point than that of Avas Flowers! In other words, if I had wanted to buy from Safeway, I would have done so - instead I purchased what I thought were "premium flowers" and paid quite a bit higher than the value delivered. Lesson learned - won't be using this service again.

Don't purchase through them. They are good. They have this set up to make you believe that it is legit but buyer beware. I ordered on 2/5/24 at 3 pm stating I needed delivery same day. I asked the Phillipino speaking order taker 3 times if they could guarantee same day delivery that night. He assured me 3 times yes they could. My niece was having a baby in Memphis and was only in the hospital until noon the next day. On 2/6/24, Ava's attempted delivery so they say and stated they could not find the niece in her room at the hospital. Their system kept blowing up my phone and emails with non delivery notices. This all looked legit. Then when I would talk to them about getting a credit they would put me on hold for up to 15 minutes and would come back on the line stalling and delaying giving me a credit. I gave them a house address to deliver and they never delivered the flowers there either. The fake emails of "we tried to deliver" continue to appear in my email. I gave them my debit card number on a link they sent me. I called my bank immediately to cancel the card before they could wipe out my bank account. Each time they attempted to call me from a toll free number I would get a different person each time all speaking with the Phillipino accent. The last one had chickens crowing in the background. These are virtual call centers where people in the Phillipines answer phones for business and are working during our normal work hours but it is night time for them. Don't give out your card to this company. I am now trying to get my money back from the bank.

I ordered flowers and was assured they would be delivered the next day in the morning, at 12:45 they had not been delivered so I called and was told that they agent that helped me had made an error and they entered to have them there by 4pm not in the morning. I was told they were trying to reach the florist and would call me back soon. After not receiving a call back I called back at 3:15 pm and was told they are on the way and would be delivered shortly and someone would call me back. At 5:00 pm after the flowers were not delivered and still no call back I was told that to get a refund I would need to talk to a supervisor but they were all on calls and they would call me back in the next 20-30 minutes. I never received that call and had to call back the next day and it took over 30 more minutes on the phone to finally get them to agree to refund since the flowers were never delivered and they cannot provide any updates. This place is a joke.

I ordered a beautiful, expensive, floral arrangement for my Mother while she recouperates at home from surgery. She got a dozen red roses without any arrangement to them. Then I asked for a refund of my money and they tried to talk me out of refunding me 3 times before I got off the phone not to mention the day before I was told they couldn't fill my order customer service said they had called the florist personally and it was going to be delivered the next day. I ordered flowers stating it would be as shown from the photo. The flowers that arrived to my brother were much smaller than expected. I am disappointed with the money I paid for a small arrangement that does not match the size of the indicated photo. I also ordered balloons and he was sent different ones in a different color and style. Some of them were also deflated upon arrival to him. I called them about this to have the order resent to him and still he was sent a small order of flowers that looked worse and were missing certain flowers. The balloons were also missing from this reorder. I had to call again to at least get the balloons refunded.

Regardless of how hard they try to make you think you are ordering from a local florist Avas is a on-line order only. They get top billing in paid search mostly because the name starts with an "A", they also buy the position. But rest assured, when you place an order with Avas, they then send the order via the web to a local florist in the market you are trying to send flowers to.
It is very misleading!
If you don't believe me, just go to any market you want and see what name comes up when you click local florist regardless of what city or State you chose.
They should be shut down for being so dishonest/deceptive.

They make you think you are using a local florist, but they take your money then electronically send the order to a local florist and pay them a fraction of what you paid them.
It is 100 percent deceptive!

Ya'll I don't do this usually but I feel the need to steer Ya'll away from scammers whenever possible.
So I purchased a dozen roses, "gourmet" chocolates, and card from this company TWO DAYS AGO, to be delivered on her birthday before 3pm. Not only did this company not get it done after charging me well over $100, but when they finally tried they simply dropped them off, without the chocolates at the gate outside Perkins. After hours. In the middle of Booker Park. This all after they refused to give me a refund the previous day.
Save yourself some money. Don't buy from Avas Flowers

Ordered a week prior. They texted me an hour before they were supposed to be delivered to say not only that they weren't able to make the delivery, but that the flowers I ordered weren't available at all. This is customer service in 2023.

The title of the review says it all: flowers ordered, credit card charged (including ridiculously high fees and add-ons from Avas) and the bouquet simply never showed up. Avas provided tracker is no help either, it simply states that the details are unavailable, and are the domain of FedEx, USPS or the local florist - except Avas doesn't provide any of that information, just their internal order and tracking number. Avoid at all costs!
