This company is a scam. They claim they can change based on availability of their flower arrangements but WITHIN the same type and following the arrangement chosen. So what they do is create a mediocre arrangement that looks absolutely nothing like the one ordered and not the size specified making the customer feel embarrassed and angry realizing what the recipient received! Not to mention the worst customer service ruining in this case a Birthday. I need accountability from this company. I am beyond disappointed. NEVER ORDER FORM THEM!

Ordered a floral arrangement for a funeral, once ordered got a call informing me that it would be guaranteed for 9am next day delivery which was day of funeral. Clearly asked representative if they were sure, of course they said yes. Arrangement was delivered at 130p next day after the funeral services were over. Avas flowers does not take ownership for their hiccups and wanted to say it was a 4p delivery. Save the headache skip over Avas flowers

I placed and order to be delivered that day of some roses and a teddy bear. First problem was teddy bear not available which I could have lived with. Second I get a phone call saying I can't be delivered on that day. I said then cancel as no one would be at the location for the next several days. They then put me on hold for over 20 mins and come back and say OK it will be delivered today. Great. Well at almost 5 pm I get a text message urgent call now. So I call had to wait 10 to 15 mins for someone to answer then they ask my order number which I provide and guess what hold again for 10 mins. She comes back says can't be delivered today. Again I ask to cancel they say we will give you 15 dollars and deliver tomorrow. Tell them same thing no one will be at the delivery address for several days won't work. We can schedule another Day. If I want it another day I will reorder. Cancel my order and refund my money. They again push for another day. They will not cancel it. Never use this company. Go local. I guess when the recipient get back after a couple of days she will find dead flowers on the porch or something I don't know. Horrible customer service.

Ordered flowers and wanted them delivered for Mothers Day. The first big RED FLAG was they say that they don't guarantee the time of delivery, I should have went somewhere else then. Then they started talking about something called Flex Delivery, where your order can take up to 3 days to be delivered! They gonna make themselves look like incompetent morons delivering 3 days after Mothers Day! I never agreed to this and would have never paid the outrageous prices for an order I would never see had I known this earlier! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My wife works in a popular restaurant with a bunch of other women. I told her about the situation and asked her to tell everyone that works there as well and their customers not to use Avasflowers cause they will never see their order. And when I talked to their chatbot and called their customer service, you only get a robot that can't help you with anything and it keeps hanging up on me. I got no status updates and I was left completely in the dark about everything. Find a local florist, you are better off.

Don't ever order flowers from this place. I had flowers delivered to both of my friends last night, and I didn't get there till almost 8 o'clock at night and they live in Denver. They went ahead and delivered the flowers, left it outside in the freezing weather, and by the time they got the flowers they were practically dead the flowers didn't look anything like the ones I ordered online. I also ordered three balloons got two balloons. The note was so chicken scratch it. Look like a little kid wrote it. When I called this morning to get a refund, they only offered me 24 bucks when I paid over 100 for these flowers. Then they asked my friend they can deliver the flowers back to the flower shop and they will re-deliver new flowers tonight I said I'll just take the $24 and leave Don't ever order from this place. My daughter ordered sunflowers thinking of Ukraine. The water look green when received but I was busy and 3 Days later changed it. Only to find the stems were mushy and slimy. Through them out. I'm a busy person I called the company about a week later. They could not find the order they couldn't use my daughter's telephone number to find it and sent me to another telephone number. I called that number later in the month and was told by someone named Fran that they will replace the flowers when available. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I thought it was because sunflower season was over I don't know how that works. So I called again recently with dates times who I talk to and said I never received any flowers in its place. Michelle is the one who checked and said after 48 hours we can do nothing. She was very nice about it but this is a warning to anyone who buys from them. Take out the flowers check that they're fresh that the water is fresh and call immediately if anything is wrong. Otherwise you're out of luck. I didn't want to tell my daughter because I was embarrassed that her thoughtful gift was screwed up for mother's Day

I called in person and ordered a fall bouquet concentrating on sunflowers, they said fine. They called later and said they couldn't get any sunflowers so they would send a fuller bouquet with roses and a 15% discount. A dozen roses were delivered today with NO other flowers or fillers, definitely not fuller and not even fall colors. It's what a husband would send a wife, not a friend sending a birthday gift to another friend. I called and they credited me $20 but my friend still got a skimpy gift. I also had to ask for the discount, they hadn't given it yet. Seems like they will send what they have on hand and not what you want. Wouldn't recommend. Also the roses seem dry on the edges. I only gave 2 stars because of the small refund. Just got the email back and they only gave a refund of $15. I sent an email back. More time I have to spend contacting them. I guess I should have came here first before placing an order with this shell company for Florists. I placed an order for delivery on Valentines Day, (2/14). I received an email confirmation confirming delivery on 2/13 or 2/14. Well, NO delivery and NO way to speak with someone live. Their "Customer Service" (800) number is an endless loop of automation. When I was finally able to figure out how to get into que to talk with a live representative, I was kept on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up on by an automated operator saying the extension was NOT valid. I placed a second call, only to have the same thing occur. I will contact my credit card and place a dispute for their instantaneous charge for my order.
As a side note, ALWAYS look at ordering websites for a clear way to contact them in the event of an order issue. If you look at their website, AVA's Flowers are deceptive and misleading on how to contact them. After over an hour of searching, I found a random email address for Customer Service issues, (*******@avasflowers.com) and have zero faith in resolution.
Do yourself a favor and go to (800) Flowers and save yourself the hassle of a website purposely misleading potential buyers. (ZERO STARS)

I paid a fee around 10am that totaled to $130 to have flowers delivered before 2pm for my mother's birthday. They called back saying they would not be able to deliver the flowers the same day. Why even have the fee posted?
I told them I wanted a refund and finally after 20 minutes on the phone, said that they put in a refund order. A couple minutes later I got a text saying that I have been refunded. Luckily I was able to find another flower shop that can get the job done. The other flower shop at around 11:30am told me they close today at 1pm but still was able to deliver.

They have been bypassed the worst experience I've ever experienced ordering flowers. I made an order before 9 AM on May 10 asking if they could make sure that it was delivered by 5 PM because that is the time my mother would leave work. My mom sent me a picture of the flowers and it was not what I ordered and I paid $120 for them.

My review is going to be short and sweet I started out with a large flower arrangement for $56 I added a $4.99 card and I got free delivery but my bills team still came out to $103. Sad part about it is my sister's in the hospital she had quadruple heart bypass open heart surgery and I expected those flowers to be there today like they said they would and she never got them now my sister's going to be getting out of the hospital and I'm getting nothing but a big run around by this company and they sure do know how to pass the butt so my advice to buyers is beware they're not a local company they're all over the world and they utilize other people to run the business for them they get their plants and flowers from growers and sometimes all the other people could be the ones failing. Bottom line is you won't get your order when you ask for it, number two you're going to pay a lot more than what the website says and what customer service says while you're ordering, and I finally read other reviews and there's a lot of disappointment with the size of the the baskets I hope I'm not disappointed there. But I could tell you one thing they did not mention and that was a $28.75 service fee so even after free delivery of $56 flower order cost me $103 almost double and I got free delivery that was never delivered so good luck people I recommend you do shop locally people that deserve the money instead of somebody with a bright idea of creating websites to rip people off

When I ordered from Avas Florist I thought it was ordering from them, I was not, they give your information to a 3rd party florist. I ordered a bouquet of flowers and a heathy gift basket for a family member. They delivered two bouquets of flowers. It took multiple calls and filling out paperwork to get a response. They did finally deliver the gift basket, but we had to give back one of the bouquets. You would think they would let you keep both bouquets because of the inconvenience. I would never order from them again. If you do order from them, make sure you read their refund policy.

Just received a so called arrangement from John's florist in Tom's river. My niece ordered it through Avas. The picture Avas showed her and the flowers I got were disgraceful. There was about 1/5 the amount of flowers and they consisted mostly of the cheapest of flowers and the water in the jar was dirty. As an added thrill I got a semi inflated balloon. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Absolutely the worst flower purchasing experience even possible! Ordered a basket which was to be the large size of a basket with both flowers and green plants for a gravely I'll family member. When received, recipient sent a picture with their thanks. It was nothing more than a small fern shoved in a basket! It was hideous! I was embarrassed beyond belief. I called to complain amd was told order had been filled as required. I threw a fit and offered hem a picture of what was received. Customer Service sent me an email I could reply to with a picture. When he saw it he said he "100% agreed" that it was a complete fail. I was told a suitable replacement would go out the same day (Friday) or the next day at the latest. I received word that my family member was being released early on that following day so called again (held 33 minutes on first day!). I was told it could not be sent until the following Tuesday! I literally screamed demanding a refund at that point. The day before, I was offered a 15% refund which I declined as I explained I was Embarrassed at the quality of my gift and what was sent was so substandard 15% was less than it was worth. I did get a refund after being loudly insistent. See pictures below of what I ordered and what I got. Horrible company! RUN!

I was so disappointed whit what we received. It was a totally different flower arrangement from what i picked from their website. I do understand that theu have a policy were in they could sunbstitute certain flowers/plants if unavialbale but getting a totally different flower arrangement is unacceptable. What makes it worse is they dont have any customer service personel that you can talk to. Smh
