This company is a scam. They claim they can change based on availability of their flower arrangements but WITHIN the same type and following the arrangement chosen. So what they do is create a mediocre arrangement that looks absolutely nothing like the one ordered and not the size specified making the customer feel embarrassed and angry realizing what the recipient received! Not to mention the worst customer service ruining in this case a Birthday. I need accountability from this company. I am beyond disappointed. NEVER ORDER FORM THEM!

When I placed my order through Ava's Flowers I truly thought I was ordering through a local-ish florist and not something like 1800Flowers. My fault for not doing the research. They are truly just a middle man, they took my order and then outsourced it to a local florist but couldn't provide me with ANY tracking info (as they didn't have an update from the florist). They clearly didn't do any following up themselves on my order, because I ordered same day delivery and never got one update from anyone about whether or not my order had arrived. And again, without tracking, I had no idea what the status was. The real kicker is that they have the audacity to charge a $28 service fee (not the same as a delivery fee) and they did NOT refund it when I called the following day and had discovered that not only had my order not arrived, but the florist itself was unreachable.
Bottom line, this is an expensive third party service that takes no accountability. Order through a local florist, don't waste your time, money or sanity with this place.

Don't waste your money! I purchased flowers and chocolates for my sister's birthday! Spent extra $$$ for "LUXURY GRADE" to be delivered on December 31st. Was advised it would be delivered between Dec 30th and 31st. Ordered was delivered at 9:20pm on Dec 31st- Ridiculous! Tried checking on the order/ calling numerous times during the day - Their customer service is unreachable, non-existent. Ordered flowers with a same day, 4 PM delivery. Unfortunately, the flowers were not delivered to the recipient and no communication was forthcoming to the senders acknowledging a delay.
Spoke to customer service that evening. The rep gave us a $10 refund for the inconvenience and a promise to deliver the next day.
Next day comes and the flowers still have not arrived. Called and spoke to customer service again. This time the rep stated that they have not been able to contact the delivering flower shop for 48 hours. In other words, they accepted our order without even calling to confirm that they had the capacity to deliver.
Again-customer service rep offered a $10 refund and guaranteed delivery the next business day. I politely declined and stated to cancel the order and provide us a full refund.
I am currently in the midst of a one hour phone call in which the supervisor, who does not come in the line, has to approve the refund.
Off to the file a complaint with the BBB, FTC, and post on every review site possible. Awful experience

I called to have a holiday box delivered to my mother-in-law. Prior to that I thought I had called a local business but he had tried to contact me to tell me he could not fulfill the order. I did not receive this, called him and found out he did not service the area. In a panic, I did a search for someone who delivered there. Ava's came up and since I didn't have time, I did not research it. Big mistake. Ad said free delivery, so that was a plus. Went through pages of products, found something I liked and went to order. On the approval page, they charged a "service fee" which was more than twice the delivery fee! Being that I wanted the order there days ago, I just approved it.
To make a long story, they indicated the order was delivered, the recipient looked all over the property and asked her neighbors if they received it and found nothing. I called, they stated it had not been delivered and would take care of it. After three times of they would fulfill the order, I lost it.
They have told me they have credited my account for the full amount but that remains to be seen.

I do not recommend this company. You will be overcharged, terribly and treated like you've made the mistake. Even though they sent me a picture of my order that was correct other than missing the it's a boy balloon. Charged me over $70 for a small teddy bear and three balloons. Very disappointed in this online company. I ordered the small get well balloon set being held by a small brown teddy bear. In my picture, it shows it with three latex, colorful balloons and three get well mylar balloons and the smiley face balloon. I added a it's a boy balloon separately, The order was missing the latex, colorful balloons, the yellow smiley face balloon and the it's a boy balloon. In the picture they sent me it shows the small balloons and the teddy bears holding them, on red sticks. When they showed up at the hospital the balloons were on ribbon and very long above a white bear and only three get well balloons. Nothing like what I had seen in the picture. So hard to order a nice gift when you're not in the same state as the person you're getting them for.

Then I called the phone number which took forever to get through their voice options. They kept trying to push you to their website. Placed order at 6:47 a.m. for my mother in law on Friday b4 Mother's day. Delivery window between the 12th and Sunday the 14th, which I was fine with. We live down south, shes up North. Received an email just after 6 p.m. that even stating due to volume of orders they would not be able to make the delivery until the Tuesday AFTER Mothers Day. I was furious that now all local flower shops were closed up North, they'd left us with no other options and had waited that long to inform us. When I called their resolution was to offer $15 off the order. Not even close to acceptable. Especially when they offered "free delivery" when using some special promo code but at check out you then see this surprise $28 "service fee" but by the time you see this you're almost done and just suck it up. But that's sneaky and so shady. So all said and done, badly run business, then, can't even offer any compensation off TRUE order total. Instead, just half I'd their SURPRISE service fee. I told them HELL NO just cancel and issue a refund immediately. What a joke. Stay far away from this place!

I am very disappointed that I trusted Ava's flowers for my Mother's Day delivery. My order was placed 4 days in advance. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT A COMPANY WOULD CANCEL A MOTHERS DAY DELIVERY THE DAY THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED! Plus, they did not even call to advise, they simply sent an email so late in the day that I could not of even tried to send flowers from a more reliable business if I tried. Ordering flowers for my 10th anniversary… Decided to use Avas for the first time (by the way, there are plenty of other options)
Placed my order 13 hours before the 7 o'clock last delivery time. Within one minute received a notification via email that my order was placed and it would deliver before 7 PM. I called an hour and 10 minutes before 7 PM and found out that the order has never been picked up and would not deliver until possibly tomorrow.
I received no correspondence the entire day, giving me a status update on when the delivery would take place. When I contacted Avas they said that they had emailed the florist multiple times and didn't get a response why would they not have picked up the phone and called them!? Floral deliveries are personal, and timing is EVERYTHING!
When they finally called me back, they offered me a 25% discount to deliver them the next day, by the way, there's no way that they would remake the arrangement so the arrangement would be 24 hours old by the time they deliver… The also offered a pathetic discount of $ 28…this amount is the additional fee they charge to deliver same day!
They should be embarrassed to call themselves a floral service the customer service is terrible. They do not accommodate their customers. They do not follow up with their customers they do not follow up with their suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Do not waste your time you will be disappointed.

Valentine's Day, 2022:
It's a shame that I have to give them 1 star as it's the lowest option but even giving them 1 star is way too much. If there were an option to provide negative numbers to depict the lowest of low - that would still be too good for this company. This company is BEYOND awful and should be permanently closed. Every state Attorney General should make it their sole purpose to close this operation because its continued allowance to operate is a menace to society. Not only are they thieves but they literally suck all joy out of special occasions. The high ratings on Google and other sites listed on their website are complete works of fiction and goes to show just how far they are willing to go to purposely and willfully mislead shoppers.
Flowers ordered well in advance for Valentine's Day delivery SHOULD be delivered as committed. However, lying to callers throughout the day as the 7 PM delivery commitment time approached about on time delivery and then don't deliver is unconscionable. The audacity for customer service to tell callers "we are too busy and won't be able to deliver today, how about tomorrow?" is outrageous!
Fair warning to those out there. Do not waste your time to order flowers through them. Also, be aware that they are actively changing their business name by removing the apostrophe and going by (Avas Flowers) as well. Don't be fooled- it's the same scam of a company. You've been warned. Go elsewhere! Save your money! Don't risk having a special occasion ruined by soulless, evil people who purposely set out to steal people's money and ruin special moments.

The search said that delivery would be free. When I went to order the flowers, they tacked on a $9.99 delivery fee. I was willing to accept this, thought $9.99 was fair for delivery, but then when I went to check out they tacked on a $28.99 service fee. Bringing my $75 flower order to well over $100 with tax. I called them, first of all they advertised like they are in the town that you are sending flowers to. The person answering the phone would not answer my question if they were actually in the town. I had to say to him I would like to come visit your flower shop and look at the flowers, what is your exact location, at which point he admitted they were nowhere near the town I was sending the flowers to. Then he said every florist adds the service fee. I found a florist in the town where I wanted to send flowers and call them. They were very helpful and friendly, and there was no service fee. Just the price of the flowers and a small delivery fee. Do not use one of these websites. Buy direct. Ava's flowers is a rip off

Earlier today I needed a floral arrangement to be delivered the same day to a location they told me it was within their area of coverage. I wanted to surprise a friend of mine that was attending a conference away from home, in their area. So, I contacted them to place an order, after selecting what I wanted, and ask all the "right questions" they reassure me that my goal was attainable and that they were able to deliver the flowers to the given address on time. One hour after, I got a text notification indicating me to contact the shop because they needed to speak with me regarding my delivery order. Long story short, they told me that they will deliver the flowers on monday september 25th, when on the initial call I stress out how important it was for me to deliver the flowers to my friend today. The flowers were a surprise that I planned for her while she is away from home traveling, and going through a difficult time. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated. My word for them over the phone was to work on be more professional and to keep your promises to the people who trusted you in first place. They messes up blatantly! Please, stay away. I called from out of state and this was my first and last time. I hope that you read this and get your flowers from someone else.

My father has flowers delivered every year for Valentine's Day as I live very far from my home town and this company is a horrible experience with terrible customer service. On 2/14/23, my flowers from my dad were supposed to be delivered. They were not. Customer service told my father that it would be delivered the next morning due to high volume. It was not delivered. It is now 2/18/23, and the flowers have not been delivered and no update.
It's also unfortunate that this company decided to remove their Google business page because of horrible reviews that were coming I'm sure. They claimed today that there was an attempt to deliver. There was not. I have door cameras and was also home all day. I also have neighbors that did not see anyone attempt to deliver, so they are also LIARS!. Still, no flowers - my father called and asked that my arrangement still be delivered but he's like a refund for ruined my Valentine's Day. They said no, with no explanation or remorse. We ended up asking for a refund.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They ruined my father's tradition with me, and had no remorse or explanation. I am highly disappointed. TERRIBLE SERVICE!
