They were out of what I originally ordered for my fiancé. But in place was even a better beautiful plant. Her co workers loved it and so does she! I am more satisfied with this order than any before… thanks so much!
This company is a scam. They claim they can change based on availability of their flower arrangements but WITHIN the same type and following the arrangement chosen. So what they do is create a mediocre arrangement that looks absolutely nothing like the one ordered and not the size specified making the customer feel embarrassed and angry realizing what the recipient received! Not to mention the worst customer service ruining in this case a Birthday. I need accountability from this company. I am beyond disappointed. NEVER ORDER FORM THEM!
I ordered flowers from this company 6 days ago and they never arrived. I've called everyday this week and told nothing but lies. The orchid I paid for wasn't in stock so I told them 3 days later to send wtvr they had.
Yesterday (day 5) to find out what's going on. They said they're using another florist and they'd be delivered today. I got a text today saying it was urgent I call them. Today, they said "we don't have orchids so they didn't go out." Worst company I've dealt with ever. They owe me for spending 3 hours on the phone with them and nothing has been done. A 30yr family company? A lie. I just spoke to the manager who said she'd refund my $10 rush delivery payment, they did that already. I don't want $10 I want the the flowers delivered 6 days ago. Then the manager Haley said she'll make sure they're delivered on Monday because it's noon on Saturday, after they were promised to be delivered this am. I asked if someone would ensure they're delivered Monday and the manager (who said her name is Haley (I highly doubt that) said oh it'll be delivered Monday or Tuesday. We don't know. Do not use this company. They are scammers!

The flowers we ordered were a Large White Spray ($204.90) but they didn't arrive at the funeral mass for my Uncle at 10:30am. They appeared at the cemetery at Holy Sepulchre hours later and looked like a round Charlie Brown's Christmas tree with flowers and pine. My Aunt looked so confused and we were humiliated! The small spray on the left I ordered from Ava's Flowers (supposed to be large) looked nothing like what was depicted on the web site (photo from web site), got to the cemetery (supposed to be church) 2 hours late and added to our grief of losing our Uncle. The other pictures are what my Uncle's wife ordered from another florist and shared for comparison in size and quality. I demand a refund! So so sad Ava's Flowers failed on all counts.

I went on the site to order flowers for my sisters funeral. I spent almost $200 for an arrangement. I was hit with a $25 processing fee but this is not that unusual although there was no mention of it in the ordering process. My first hint that there was a problem was when they sent an email confirming delivery within a few hours when the flowers were ordered for a future date. Concerned I started trying to contact Avas, impossible. Just to find a phone number or email, I was constantly halted by the site steering me to their chatbot (Which was useless). After hours of frustration I gave up hoping the arrangement would arrive as ordered. Now laying in bed the night before the funeral, not being able to sleep I received a text message saying that the flowers would arrive in a 24 window between 11 A.M. the day of the funeral and the following day! WTF! Again I go crazy trying to contact them. After finding their # I call, go through all the prompts and finally I get to a message telling me that their offices are closed due to the holiday, there was no holiday that day. The funeral came and went, no flowers. I eventually called my card company and reported the fraudulent transaction. My claim is still processing. Please whatever you do, do not use this site. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Lesson learned I guess.

These guys are absolutely worthless. DO NOT order flowers from these clowns. They kept pushing back the delivery date on various occasions with awful input or communication skills. I had contacted them multiple times with very extensive hold times and each time it was an absolute struggle. The last message I had received was another message pushing back my order. When I contacted them I had explained I was tired of the run around and unfulfilled promises. I wanted my order taken care of. After explaining I didn't want them to push the delivery date back AGAIN they put me on hold during mid conversation and completely cut me off. After 30 minutes of holding time I hung up and was going to call back later as I was busy at work. A minute later I received a text stating they gave me a refund and canceled my order. These guys have far BELOW average customer service and the service they provide they do a poor job of. Save your time, money, and frustration and order elsewhere. Would give zero stars if I could. I am beyond livid with this pitiful company. After calling back to their customer service it was 10-15t minutes of holding just to be transferred to another department. I was transferred to 5 different departments and none of them had a solution to the issue, they would just pass me along to the next. These guys were atrocious and I highly advise no one to give your money to these guys. I've never been more dissatisfied and upset with any other business ever. Absolute headache and clown employees. No picture because no purchase/product received.

I ordered flowers for my mom's bday and saw on their website it guarantees same day deliveries so I proceeded to buy flowers that were $44.99 which with a delivery and service fee that was nearly as much as the flowers itself ended up with a total of $82. After a few hours after placing order they called me saying it wouldn't get there until the next day. I asked them to cancel the order and for a refund bc what's the point of receiving flowers the day after your birthday. The lady was persistent on not letting me cancel and said she wanted to make sure my mom's receives a special gift...She promised me that if I gave her the opportunity she'd make sure the flowers were EXTRA special and she'd add on more than what I ordered. She also mentioned she'd give me a $30 discount so I reluctantly agreed. My mom received a very underwhelming surprise to say the least. The lady clearly did not "add anything special" and it looked nothing like what I ordered. Do NOT waste your money of this company please.

I place a order and paid a 24.95 delivery fee plus flower and they assured the flowers would be there. It was for a 7 year old whos daddy pasted away and TODAY is his birthday. They messaged me at 2pm to say sorry they can not be delivered today but they will be there tomorrow... NO UNACCEPTABLE! They did nothing to try to rectify the situation to get the flowers there TODAY! THEY ARE A AWLFUL COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I placed a note for a money tree from my mother's birthday they called me back a 1/2 an hour later after telling me they had it to tell me that they didn't have it and wanted to make suggestions for other things that I could send to my mom I feel like this was bad business I feel like it was done purposely done purposely knowing that they did not have what I what I wanted but thought that they could convince me We're bullying me warranty or intimidate me into buying something else I think it's bad business I think it's manipulative.

I ordered flowers and balloon bouquets for my niece and new baby who live in another state. I was contacted and advised they didn't have balloons so they were wanting to send 2 flower bouquets. I told them I didn't want to do that to just cancel the balloons. I was then told that they had talked to my son and he already authorized this. I got a little upset as I knew they were being dishonest as they could not have spoke with my son, he wasn't even home to answer my phone. When I call her out on this she said "oh I just see a new note saying they got my voicemail" at this point she said okay we will cancels the balloons. When my Neice got the flowers she sent me a picture. The bouquet is pretty ugly and not what I thought it would be. I did find another flower shop in her area and got a beautiful balloon bouquet send to her. This company is terrible and if they are going to charge so much with a service fee they should at least hire people that know how to put bouquets together and not use grocery store flowers. Very disappointed! Stay away from them.

I ordered flowers from this company in the amount of $150 for a funeral. They told me they would inform upon delivery. That never happened. I tracked the order and was informed it had been delivered. I contacted the funeral home. They said they had no such delivery. I was then responsible for contacting Ava's, who told me "Oh, it says delivered because it left the florist. It will be there by 7pm and we will notify you". 9pm came and no notification. I called the funeral home. They said "We close at 6pm and we didn't get any flowers". The next day I was charged with calling Ava's again. This time they said, "Yeah... we haven't been able to get in contact with the florist, so they may not have actually sent the flowers. We will find another florist and get it delivered ASAP". They claimed they would let me know when they arrived. Well of course, no notification and I was tasked with having to call them AGAIN! I mean. There is already death in the family... do you have no sympathy! They say it's delivered and so I call the funeral home to verify (because of course I can't trust Ava's at this point). Yes, they have the delivery, they confirmed. But no, it wasn't what I paid for. No Banner... which cost me an additional $10. No stand, though I ordered a standing arrangement. I was told it was in a. I quote "easter basket". I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY!

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter's work for her 24th Birthday. I paid the extra money to make sure they were delivered by 2pm. It was suppose to be a surprise but I had to ask my daughter if she got anything. As of 230, she said no. I tried to contact them to get a refund for the RUSH fee. She contacted them and was told that they could deliver them to her house by 7pm. Well, that didn't happen. I called and asked for a total refund and these people wanted to discount my order by 16$ at first. I told them, NO HER BIRTHDAY IS TODAY NOT TOMORROW. Then they tried to say well then discount 20$. I again said NO. Then they said they would take off the service fee. Once again I said NO, YOU RUINED THE SURPRISE and I'M DONE. Finally after 30-45 mins I get approved for a refund. I hope I get it. Find another flower shop if you can. Do Not Use AVAS.

Paid $116 for a flower arrangement. Was given a 3 day delivery window, (mind you this order was placed 4 days before the delivery was supposed arrive) now we got an email the day the order was supposed to be delivered, that it won't arrive until tomorrow. DON'T PROMISE PEOPLE A DELIVERY WINDOW IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER IN THAT WINDOW! I would have been fine if they would have told me at checkout they couldn't make the delivery on the day I wanted it, but to send me an email on the it's supposed arrive is just ridiculous.

Ava's Flowers is a poorly ran company…I order same day Dozens Red&Yellow Roses for my GF for $101 at 11:44am on May 22nd to be delivered in Ames Iowa at her job…the sales lady assured me they would be delivered within 3-4 hours…around 3pm I received a text telling me that my flowers would be arriving next day (May 23) due to lack of delivery drivers…when I called them to ask questions they pass me from person to person. After transfer number 3 I asked for a manager…I've been on hold for 20 minutes…I'm very disappointed in Ava's Flowers. At this point I want a Full refund and I would urge any whom reads this to do business elsewhere due to the unprofessional nature of their business practices.
