“Bajaao in 2018! My Experience”

I was interested in buying a nylon electric guitar in medium price range. On Bajaao i got three options with similar specs 1) Cort Sunset nylon 2) ESP Nylon String 3) Harley Benton Custom Line Nashville Nylon. On 25th December got a great deal for the third one, hence instantly booked it online. It clearly mentioned that guitar dispatches in 16 business days. Hence started tracking my order as soon 12th Business day ended and Bajaao people were kind enough to inform me about my order, of course you have to chase up with them and not vice a versa, as same for all e-commerce companies. Since i was only 500 kms away from Mumbai, i decided to head up towards Bajaao's Andheri office & the manager was kind enough to give a short tour of the office and various sections right from QA, Packaging, Cust Support and Software Development team. I received my guitar at my door step on the 14th business day ( Under promise, Over deliver example set by these people). Guitar was in perfect shape, perfect gloss and action, packaging was tight with enough fillers, used two boxes keeping in mind guitar coming straight from Europe and further till customer, Plugged it into Roland cube and sounded as expected! I am using this site for more than 10 years now. Usually purchase only cheap products like guitars strings etc. Never purchased anything valuable. Firstly because,, guitars are best purchased after playing models, secondly for products purchased thru Bajaao was not really happy, 100%. Recent experiences have been pathetic. They put up on their site products that are not available with either them or their supplier! I believe, that translates to scam! In case you don't verify and purchase blindly, you will park hefty amounts for as long as 2 weeks only to be told that the product is unavailable and refund is processed. That's the worst kind of service. So buyer, Beware!

The customer service team does not seem to be professional. Casual approach. Their website has a what's app link where no one replies. Ordered only once and when I called them to check the status of my order after 3 days of placing it they said this product is not available so they have cancel. Not going order from them ever again. Amazon is also selling music instruments nowadays.

Horrific experience after buying a guitar from shipment blues to wrong order to replacement issues to refund and obviously a fully trained lying machinery of customer service support. Pls do not be conned.

Its a dying company with no customer base. Buy stuff from them at your own risk. There is a reason companies like these don't have Cash on delivery. They will take your cash and forget about your delivery - That about sums up their motto i guess.

Purchased alto saxophone (Startone SAS-75). Bad experience. Very hard to blow. Can't be played at very low note/scale. Octave key is not in proper alignment. Bajaao.com don't show negative reviews of products on its web site. Only 5 star reviews are shown against this product even after my comments.

They are the Fraud company I purchased some 40K music equipment from them from No cost EMI they told me the interest amount will be credited to my wallet, they don't have such wallets rather when you get the amount only 25% you can use in a single buy and this valid for only 1 year. Now they say do whatever you want, we cant help out. They have the worst customer service guys please buy from Amazon or flipkart even if they sell you cheaper. Also, my equipments were delivered after 20 days.

I ordered a harmonica from bajaao for my brother and it never got delivered. First they took the order and never wrote back to me... after double mails, they wrote back after 8 days of order that it will be further delayed. After this, I didn't hear from them again for another 7 days. I wrote mails again and then they reply back that the order has been cancelled due to delay. Now Its been 3 days and I have still not received the refund. Who knows I will receive or not.Not just this once, It has happened with me another time, when I waited for 15 days and the order got cancelled at last. That was for me so I did not whine that time.
Also, after these disasters, I came to know that many of my friends have bought items from the site and they were all faulty or not working or non-lasting.

Guitar: Delayed order by 10 days. Reached in 21st day. Within those days, they never reply to mails! I thought I lost my money. Harmonica: first, no mail that order is placed or dispatched or whatever. I mailed them again and again and they said, it will come in 10 days. Second, order did not come by given date. So I mailed them again. Then, they said order delayed by 10 days again. Again did not come in 10 days. Finally cancelled when I mailed them again and again, Ordered another next. Cancelled without even asking and informed me only after multiple mails and date of delivery crossed.

I ordered 10 days ago and got nothing. They say I need to wait 10 more days for the order to get dispatched! This is horrible. And they didn't say it before you pay. Cheaters. From Amazon orders come fast and easy!

Worst experience ever. I ordered acoustic guitar. I paid online. My guitar delivery date was after 1 week.
After 1 week it was not delivered. I checked with customer care. They informed that the original wooden color version was not there. I was not informed earlier. At last I have to cancel my order.

I have ordered harmonica as it was low price in BAJAAO.com, but i kept on sending mail and geeting false promises. But my order never delivered
So please even if they mention produnct in cheap price then also dont order to bajaao else they will make u wait or they mail deliver damaged product for no use

After struggling with the delivery, I received my order today. I was shocked to see that my product - a podcasting kit worth 15,720 rupees, was damaged and the mic-stand pipe was rusty. Even the foundation part of the mic-stand had damaged on it, The mic condenser was damaged. The only thing that was not damaged was the owners manual. It looked like someone had used this product before me.
Delivery was zero, product was zero. I dont even know why would someone buy a product from this website. Ideally, it should be banned from doing any business. I have now applied for a total refund from this unreliable company.
They are giving Lockdown as a reason for their inefficiency but shipping damaged products speaks volume about their ethics. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS BRAND.

So, i order a blackstar mini amp and they delayed it thrice which means i waited more than a month plus i ordered a fender guitar cable after 3 days i order fender guitar cable. It's been a month and i haven't got my fender guitar cable nor it dispatched yet. They ignoring my emails now. What's the point in opening a business? If you can't even manage it properly explain degenerate retailers

Not a trustworthy site, they are running the scam in the name of zero cost emi, if you purchase something on emi on bajaao,they will credit back cashback points in your account, after so much lengthy process, and when you tried to use those points they will not let you use those points fully, even when your product value is 4 times the amount being redeemed,they don't email you, call you about your complaint resolution, they don't give any exact time, when will your complaint will resolve, i will suggest you buy from some trutworthy site like amazon, not fraudsters like bajaao.

They buy from other stores and sell it for more price. Recently i bought a violin for 20k which market price in shalu music is like 13k... seriously cheating like hell... I wont suggest anyone to buy products from here... instead go to shalu or alberto music for a good deal...

Purchased Epiphone Electric Guitar, product delivered without Amplifier despite committment listed on company website and twice verbal confirmation from Product Specialist. 3 Weeks on no proper response from helpdesk. Have available call recording. Further product was shipped with no invoice, no warranty card. No response from Senior Management - Sunil Singh (CEO), Ashutosh Pande (Founder & Chairman), Shawn Pereira (Head of Sales), Jay Srinivasan IPAL Funding Manager). These are the people who built the company, imagine getting response from staff below. Will never buy or recommend anyone to Bajaao. I will ensure to take this to consumer forum and get justice done.

Tip for consumers:
It is always better to go to a physical shop and buy such products, especially if you can wait.

I ordered a electric guitar on 7th May ( which said dispatches in 48 hours). Its been more than a week and I haven't received any message about my product being dispatched.
When I call customer care, they put you on hold for hours and now they have stopped picking up my calls.
WORST SITE FOR ONLINE PURCHASE.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
WEBSITE IS FULL OF LIES.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Slowest Shipping Service in all over INDIA
I ordered bag on 6 oct 2019 9 oct i got sms from fedex courrier service told me your parcel will be deliver on 11 oct still today 12 oct i not get the product and call on customer service they not attend call in 7-8 time try u need wait for pickup my phone after half hour try now they told me your courrier will be arrive on 14 oct why they not care customer time value. I already paid for this order otherwise i will cancelled the order. I live in same city mumbai and bajaao office in bhiwandi they taking time 12 days for a guitar bag delivery u imagine how this company care about customer time value. Now never buy any product in future Worst Courrier Service.

They are not customer freindly. I feel cheated. Very bad return policy. Rather I must say you can't return anything back.

I order Cort G110 Guitar on 21st of May and it's 06th of June. My product is late by 10 days, it was supposed to be received by 28th May. Given that there might be a delay due to the lockdown I didn't question it.
Now my order has reached in my city but it roaming in my city for last 4 days with Fedex from one depot to another but not getting delivered. Bajaao doesn't have a customer grievance redressal system to take care of such problems.

They are seriously like scammers in market. If you have parking money and you want to forget about it for a while, invest in Bajaao. They don't even know what they are dealing of. I asked why an open box product is priced more than a new one, and the answer was " ma'am because it's under clearance sale". Seriously? You are making fool out of me?
I asked for a guitar then, SOLD OUT. Kapo - Sold Out, String - Fresh stock is arriving soon, Strap - Not available. $#*!t, why are you even there?
Customer support is pathetic. They have listed bunch of products for sound treatment and when I asked about the quality and properties as my husband is an architect, this kid got faint or he was probably high on something. The answers were ridiculous and he ended up with saying "ma'am, we'll have to check with our specialist and I'll arrange a call back"; which never happened.
They have lost their senses or zeal to work, or both. Search for a product in this site and order it from Amazon or Snapdeal (even though I am not a big fan of Snapdeal, but it is better than these scammers).
I am attaching the lamest thing through images, which I unfortunately had to experience. Last but not the least; Bajaao, go pack your bags and shut your so called third standard website. You have nothing to sell, except scamming ideas every day. Or, you people might start providing Diploma Degree in this field. #FO

Tip for consumers:
Waste of time and money. I would have given -∞ but unfortunately it's not there.

I had received the Invoice for the product dated 2nd June in my mail and on 5th June the local courier inquired about my nearest location saying that there was a parcel for me but he did not deliver the product. I phoned the courier person, he said there was some address problem and the item would be delivered the next day. That next day did not happen till date as of 9th June 2021. The courier then switched off his mobile till now. I sent an email to bajaao.com. They gave me a Ticket no. For future reference and said that their personnel will contact me within 24 hrs, which was not done to date. I sent them several emails after that but did not get any response. Finally, I rang them up on 9th June, they responded and said they would see the case within 24 to 48 hours. They are just buying time. Either they don't have the product or the courier person has misplaced the item, because after inquiring about my nearest location he did not turn up and switched off the mobile. So now I am going to take legal action against bajaao.com. Never buy any product from this seller. They also don't want to respond to the queries/problems of the esteemed customers. My product is an expensive item and I have paid for it in advance because there was no option for COD.
After threatening them with legal consequences, I am glad to say that they sent my product within few days ie. On the 11th of June 2021.

There is no rating below 1. Else, I would have selected that. Unprofessional customer. Courier partner is even worse.

Tip for consumers:
The expected date of delivery was 17th August 2023. Today is the 18th of August. No proper response from Bajaao and Courier partner. They don't even bother to answer the query. They just say "WAIT". Incorrect reason submitted by the delivery partner for the product not being delivered.
