Just built my second bax guitar blank kit Stratocaster looks great and sounds great, after my son bought me one, telecaster as a gift, great fun to do good quality and very reasonable price, would recommend it if you're thinking of giving it a go at building your own guitar
I got a faulty mic from Bax, that happens sometimes it's how it's dealt with that defines a company. I spoke to the director directly and he just ignored me after a few emails. They will come back and tell you they were doing everything by the book blah blah but the tone and arrogance of the personel means I won't buy anything from them again and I suggest you look elsewhere if you are looking for good customer service and people with morals. Just disgusting experience from start to finish, don't give them your money
As usual, the best price I could find and good, timely communication to let me know when items were in stock (true to estimates) and dispatched.
My only wish is that Parcelforce were not used for delivery due to poor delivery drivers at my end - definitely NOT Bax's fault.

My first experience of buying a product from Bax. And a first class experience it has been. Superb communication and super fast delivery. Very pleased and impressed! Will definitely use Bax again in the future. Highly recommended!

Ordered the guitar: a Takamine P Series. I received an email a few days later to say that the model had been discontinued - despite being on Takamine's website - (It hadn't; I placed the order instead with my local guitar shop). Then ten business days to refund the money? And needlessly cold and unhelpful customer service. Even if they offer you some marginal savings, it's much better to get the support and helpful service from a shop - or even other online sellers such as andertons or gear4music tbh. Whom I've only had good experiences with.
Ordered a item on a sunday evening and it arrived tuesday, easy to navigate website with brilliant offers and very happy with the fast dispatch and delivery, came well packaged and the product was what i ordered!

I ordered on the Monday and received an email stating goods had left the warehouse on a 24 hour express delivery. Thursday night and still no delivery. I've sent emails, tried them on the phone and absolutely nothing back at all. I have even posted several messages on their Facebook page - which is nothing but complaints! Nothing. These guys are either incompetent beyond belief or con artists. Either way avoid these clowns/crooks like the plague.

... because their 'Customer Service' department never replied to my multiple emails following a shortage on my first (and very definitely my last) order.
They are cheap for a reason - which buyers will experience if, as many have discovered, they encounter shortages or delays. Use at your peril!
One of the worst and most chaotic customer services I have ever experienced and a very disorganised company. I called many times over the course of two weeks about a proof of purchase receipt. They clearly didn't want to help out. Nothing happened from their side, just speculations and promises. Also each person I spoke to had an individualised opinion on the matter, others saying "it's impossible", "we'll hopefully have it by tomorrow", "it will take a long time as it's not our priority" and to this day there is no update on the matter. Just terrible! Plus you never say "it's not our priority" to a customer! Not even mentioning the 10-20 minutes wait during calls.
I had to return faulty speakers, and their courier failed collections five times over two weeks.
Now five days after the collection, BAX returned the speakers! I have never faced such ineptitude as this.
BAX staff advised that we put a label on each box: 'REFUND' also registered on the returns form.
Many emails were exchanged, and phone calls have proven fruitless.
Avoid at all costs!
Been researching this company due to difficulty in getting refund, now at day 60 and still counting for a refund of over £200.
Found the website is shown as Bax Music a rename of the companies house registration of Bax-shop.
Companies number or registered address not shown on website.
No evidence of a Data Protection registration but very unlikely they are exempt from the requirements.
Company started by two brothers in 2015 companies house shows one of the brothers resigned as a director in 2019.
Clearly trying to be an online box shifter with minimal quality controls, which is demonstrated by the complaints listed here. Clearly a percentage of deliveries will work but when they have to handle the failures they simply have too little resource to fix, which explains all the lengthy delays despite what they say on their website.
Perhaps an investigative journalist needs to dig deeper.

Bax received my faulty return 21 days ago and they still have my money. Today I will be contacting my bank to chase my funds back as Bax don't seem to be interested in giving my money back themselves.
AVOID
1, they sent me USED guitar!
2, replaced it with the same USED guitar
3, sent me a voucher as an apology which isn't valid
4, fobbed me off and did not refund me until paypal got involved!
5, i brought guitar at the begining of oct but won't get money back until January...

I purchased an audio interface card from their web site back in May 2019. They shipped my item to wrong destination and i did not receive it. Since that time, i am requesting a full refund of my payment, but they are not even replying to my emails or phone calls. Very bad customer service and no one is responding you when you have a problem. I want my money back!
I purchased a Ukelele. It is a gift for someone recovering from the virus. It's not the best quality, it looks like a seconds.
Appalling paint work. Dents. Scratches. Glue on neck. I emailed Bax five times not a single reply from them.

I'm waiting for my package since the 4th of october. Each time i call they tell me that it's gonna be shipped the day i call, since one week but still nothing. They suppose to call me back and they don't do, the customer service is useless. It was for important recording now i'm in trouble, never order from their website, there is much better ones.

All those dates have long come and gone. The company are a nightmare to get hold of and as yet my money is still sat in their bank with no sign of moving. The company are now not answering my messages. When I contacted my card provider they informed me the initial payment had been set up by Bax Music shop as a recurring item (like a subscription). I ordered boots over 15 days ago. No confirmation email, nothing! I contacted them 3 times on their website and still no response. Not sure what to do as they are a Beijing Co. But their website says crd contractors. Uk.?
I ordered a subwoofer, which arrived not working. Despite returns policy stating they collect items over 20KG, they've told me I have to pay to have it collected. Absolutely shocking, no regard for the customer or for the law. Never coming back.

I ordered a controller for djing as our original one was playing up the website said if I ordered on the 13th July I would get on 17th July. I tried ringing the number but did not even ring (think phone was off hook) I emailed them to get a generic message back we are dealing with your enquiry, I emailed customer services the reply was we can't guarantee delivery dates. I have now recieved it 1 week late. I would never use this company again as it seems they are taking orders & cannot fulfill the delivery dates that they themselves set

Delivery was several days later than promised, wasn't made aware that the product was coming from Europe - would have only ordered UK if I'd know due to the very problem that happened. And the best bit, after waiting impatiently for several days, it finally arrived with a euro plug and I have no adaptor. It looks nice, but I've no idea what it sounds like. Thanks.
If you give this company your money be aware that there's a good chance that you will will not receive your ordered items and you will lose your money. Customer service will not call you back and you will have to deal with the stress of constantly emailing and calling them only to hit a brick wall with them. There are hundreds of people in the same position as myself. So do your research beforehand.
