Ted was so nice and hopeful, when he showed way earlier than agreed time, he had to wait for me to open my gate and he even called my agent for my number. when he came in my yard, he changed his attitude and was disrespectful and rude and left. now my house is off the market and he called to sell ??? NOT
Do not rent through Berkshire Hathaway. Spent over 8 hours cleaning and wiping down walls, counter tops, stove, fridge, and bathroom. Called to ask if we could use our shampoo-er on the floors since we had one. They said yes, and charged 55 due to no proof of receipt. Replaced one blind ourselves that our cat had cracked as well. Deposit at 2708 noel lane was 775 and was charged 200 for not dusting the fans, 3 paint spots from command strips, and a dusty oven fan vent... and 80 for repairs. When called to ask why an email with 80 photos of the apartment was sent with no spread sheet, or checklist, or explanation. Also all repairs are charged for like a broken garbage disposal as well. Do not recommend as there are also many insects, spiders and centipedes at noel lane, cheers...
They are dishonest. They make no effort in showing your home! There are certain realtors within this company that should leave their jobs! I won't name anyone specific. I highly recommend you use another realty company! I've heard many bad stories from people trying to sell their homes. It's all terrible!
Thy are liars and add fine print after the lease has been signed!
They will do any and everything they can to keep the deposit you pay on th property, and God forbid you don't rake the leaves in the yard before you leave! They'll have to hire a handy man to come in which will cost you hundreds!
Especially stay away from Lisa fat $#*! Murdock and that bunch in Virginia Beach! They'll steal and lie their way into your bank accounts robbing you of every cent you own and then some!

Scam artists. They know how to make everything look good, but you don't realize all the shoddy work they did until living in property for awhile, & everything starts to fall apart. Didn't even level the driveway right, as there's a permanent pond. They cut as many corners as they possibly can, rushing through the renovation, & install the cheapest possible products that exist(doors, toilets, windows, flooring, etc.). The agents here were also rude as hell, both to myself & my realtor.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. They are unprofessional, incompetent and totally out for themselves. They make decisions about your property as if they were the owner, like offering a 9 month rental on a unit that's only available for 6 months. They don't respond to phone calls, they hold on to owner's funds and spend the reserve like it's their own checkbook. Our tenant left this disgusting dirty pan, unmade beds, burned out light bulbs, broken toilet and took many of the things that were part of the unit (trash cans, toilet brushes, etc). Not only did I have to pay for it, they were afraid to charge the tenant's security deposit, they did a walk through and cleared the unit as ready to be re-rented even with a broken toilet. You will be miserable if you work with anyone at Berkshire Hathaway. Avoid them at all cost!

I am four months into my lease and the property is horrible. Every time something breaks it takes weeks or longer to have it fixed. It's not like I pay cheap rent either. They are rude and hateful to deal with too! I would never buy or rent from Berkshire Hathaway!

I was rear ended by one of their insured. Police report states how it was 100% of their insured's fault. It has now been 7 weeks since the accident and still haven't been able to get a check out of them. Now they won't even return my phone calls. Worst customer service in my life!

I rented a property for 2 years from this company! All was great at first until the AC broke. I was without AC for almost 3 weeks in the middle of summer. When I complained about the time it was taking for repair the Property Manager's reply was to go stay with a friend. I vacated when my lease ended in March 2016. They kept more than half my deposit for things I did clean including the carpet and provided the receipt for. I disputed it in writing within 15 days. It is July 2016 now and I am still waiting on a reply let alone the money! Very unprofessional and careless!
I I'm currently sitting at Clayton homes in Waco Texas making a delivery I have been here since 6:45 a.m. I am and getting paid attention time after 2 hours at $100 an hour and these people go on break and could care less if they get me unloaded this is a joke this is not a good way to run a business of any kind I am an entrepreneur myself as I own this truck and I on this trailer if I ran my business like this I wouldn't have a business just as if this company continues to operate like it is Berkshire Hathaway is going to start losing a lot of money fast I have been here since 6:45 a.m. and this is all they could manage to get done in 4 hours at this rate it'll take 16 hours to unload one truck $100 an hour after the first two hours you do the math is this a profitable way to operate?
John Murphy is my rental property manager. After continuous attempts to get the AC in my house fixed he has yet to do so and has threatened to evict me because I am understandably upset. I have lived here 1.5 years and had the AC serviced 8 times with no resolution.
If Mr Buffet doesn't get a better handle on what's going on at his titanium metal company In Henderson Nv it's going to cost him in the long run. I've never seen a company run the way it is at this facility they make positions for people that really do t have a clue on what's going on at the facility. Mr Steve Hackett just visited the plant last week and they seemed to pull the wool over his eyes. And they wonder why the morale at the job completely sucks. If I was the one looking into this I would really look into this new production coordinator talks a big game but isn't really worth the money you guy pay him. Value your employees instead of the value you put into these guys you leave to run this place!
Can't say enough bad things about them. They rent us a property, make us pay for things that were broke prior to our arrival, then a water pipe goes, say its covered by insurance and we still have to pay $75. They switch a entire payment system, with NO NOTICE, double charging my account so I had $700 locked up for 4 weeks. They said oh, we see about getting you a refund once the funds clear our account, 4 weeks later and no refund check so I just had to use it for the next months rent. And if I didn't see it right away and added extra funds into that account I would have had to pay over $100 in bounced payment fees. By random luck I saw it happen it the day of so I avoided it. Stay Away!
Document EVERYTHING when getting ready to exit from a contract with Pen Fed Berkshire Hathaway. I was charged clean up fee for the attic which contained landlord items. In my 5 years at the residence I never, not one time, stepped foot in the attic. None of the items were mine, as both the landlord and staff of McRae Road knew. Clearly, I had established a relationship with these staff during my 5 year stay. I felt totally abused when they charged me for a clean out fee of that attic. I had done a meticulous job cleaning the rest of the house, the garage, the outside fence and the yard. The place was move in ready. I did call to discuss this concern with the staff on several occasions with no success. This lack of integrity on the part of Pen Fed Berkshire Hathaway staff is appalling.
I filed a claim with this company after being stabbed at Au Bon Pain bakery by a employee there. I have received nothing but the run-around for over 3 years. Still no response or resolution. They only offered me 5000 dallars which is crazy. Bad company
These people only care about themselves. Use to think Warren Buffet was worth listening to but now I've realized hes old and out of date. The fool hates crytpo without even fully understanding it. What a joke.
Bought a double wide and their inspection was a joke. We need thousands of dollars of repairs on things FHA should have kicked in for. Now my baby has no hot water, insulation all fell on the bottom of the house so it's freezing unless we use 2 heaters on top of the furnace, among multiple other issues. I won't ever work with this company again. Steve Katerberg was our realtor. Seemingly nice guy, crook at heart.

When I say Rude "absolutely no joke" Curtis Atkinson and the woman on the desk attitude is if ain't Warren Buffet you are not worth speaking to. The manner in which these two conducted the affairs of the organization, they should be dismissed. As Mr Curtis vehemently said that just not going to happen since their sole job.
I was genuinely looking forward to doing business with this organization but the manner in which they dealt with me speaks volumes.
It tells me alot about how they handle business as an organization.

I called several times and they hung up refusing my business. I wasn't rude Curtis Atkinson said he was security when I told the woman on desk was absolutely rude and should be fired for the manner in which she conduct business on behalf of the organization he said that's never going to happen. He asked do you know what our jobs are " to ensure calls doesn't endure in the right place" you can take your business somewhere else. Now for those reading stick a pin.

Mike O'Neil was a horrible agent on the seller side. He let the sellers leave numerous items on our property and promised to have removed and ignored text and phone calls and never came to retrieve. Would highly not recommend to anyone looking to buy a house in Bucks County.
If I didn't have to give at least one star, I wouldn't give any. We were trying to sell our house By Owner (ourselves). I have had one Berkshire Hathaway agent stop in the day I put the sign in our yard. I've since had 2 more agents call me wanting to list our house. That is a Major Red Flag! Do not solicit my business. If I want your company (or any agent from that company) I'll call you. DO NOT CALL ME! Unprofessional. It's like stalking. Every agent knew all the public details of our property. Would not go with Berkshire Hathaway to list home, too desperate.
Never met the listing agent. The sellers left the home so filthy, food rotting in the refrigerator and mold in the washer from a seat cushion the sellers left behind. No-one checked the appliances most were broken and need to be replaced. Information not disclosed about faulty appliances. Turn over of the house sloppy, keys not working and locks had to be replaced. Rusting bathroom pipes and filth left behind by the sellers render the bathroom showers unusable while awaiting replacements. No broom service the list goes on, basically very unprofessional turn over of an expensive home.
Her selling approach is unethical, unprofessional, sleazy and anything else one could say bad about an agent's performance. She allowed us to bid and sign contract to buy and then at the 11th hour notified us that she had another offer and would we like to rebid. This development arouse after we had made arrangements to fly from another state to view the property and 10 hours before we were going to to board a plane. Unknown to us she had already removed the listing from Zillow and changed the listing to "pending" before asking us if we wanted to rebid indicating she was lying all along as to the availability of the property since it was already sold. I assume this is not the kind of agent Warren Buffet wants to represent his brand.
