Sheila Gschwind is exceptional in all aspects! She is very knowledgeable about market conditions, quick to handle any issues that came up and went above and beyond for myself and my family! We are beyond impressed and grateful for her guidance in both selling and buying. Sheila is professional, thorough, personable and just a fun person to be around. More importantly, She knows her role as an advisor to her customers better than any real estate professional we have ever worked with. She uses a practical approach to positioning the property, supported by detailed facts and a very experienced steady hand. My advice to others that want to attain the highest value for their property, while minimizing the burden to them personally; engage Sheila as your trusted advisor and broker.
I came to you in good faith and you promised a great sale of my house. When you showed up you were very RUDE and IGNORANT. You even called my agent. I think you were butt hurt because you showed up earlier than our agreed time and you had to wait for me. I was very Disrespected. You just gave your company a bad name and I will NEVER recommend you or your company to anyone selling their home! Thank you Ted Musial... And you call me later to sell my house?
I'm so pleased with my realtor, Elizabeth Shaw Fink. She's been working with me tirelessly for more than 3yrs. I finally found the right house thanks to her patience and scouting. She was there from beginning to end and walked me through the whole process. Etc. Thanks from A. C.
I've bought from Lush countless times, and I have never been disappointed in a single product! I love their bubble bars and bath bombs, but the massage bars they offer are also awesome and the scent lingers all day. I always try different bath lines and keep coming back to lush over and over.
Very very difficult to work with. All they want you to do is lower price so low you give your property away. First Agent did not do her job by any stretch of the imagination and lost over 20K from original price after being told to paint and put new carpet. Horrible expertise of a first agent.
I was connected with Berkshire Hathaway homes through Veronica Lawrence. Not only was Veronica very unprofessional but she was none the less just rude. I have screenshots of rude text messages I had received from her(which I choose not to post). Veronica Lawrence showed me and my family that she is not only rude but extremely lazy and tried to make us take a house that would have hurt us in the long run. Oh and not to mention you cannot ask her questions I shouldn't feel like I can't ask something. She is in no way for the client and same goes for Sunwest mortgage company(they will have their own review) please be very vigilant of who you choose to work with, do your research and be an educated buyer because these people will try and take advantage of you. Bad business.
While in the middle of buying a home, offer was accepted and we were ready to proceed. BH evidently at the last minute and I mean last minute found another buyer that offered more. We were dumped like trash without even being offered to counter offer. If the home says Berkshire Hathaway in the Mandeville, LA area don't even consider buying.
My relocation company assigned Giesla Rivera Lazar from Berkshire to me. She gave me different quotes 3 times and under quoted my house to NEI which in turn affects the final sale price on my house. I'm guessing she did this because I chose to go with a different agent; maybe to punish/hurt me.
I had 4 other agents come look at my house and all were fair and quoted prices within the same range and similar to the neighborhood prices.
Complete lack of communication Berkshire Hathaway the agent made us drop the price a few times and never got a feedback unless we ask for it, no contract copies, we couldn't get a hold of her, only one open house almost close to the end of the contract, not one showing from her company and at the end they threw us out. I would not recommend this company at all especially Naperville offices. And please listen to me!
We were fortunate enough to be introduced to Andrea Martin by friends of ours in Gainesville, FL. We had already moved to Montana and Andrea took control and had our home listed and sold (closed) within 4 months. Her exceptional advise was more than helpful. If you need a realtor in Alachua County, FL she is the one. Even after the closing she helped us with a problem we had with the buyers
I had apartment and had freezing air coming from sliding door. Before I switch to this insurance they said we cover mostly the stuff and bla bla. Now I am calling them took me to get result 2.5 months. And with negative result. I hate them, such a bad insurance company.
Our agent signed the house we wanted to buy. We asked if we should get s buyers agent she told us she could do both. The banker told us he thought it was odd for one person to represent the buyer and seller so we asked her again for a buyers agent and she assured us this would be no problem WELL IT WAS. We can not get BH to do the replacements and repairs for the items we listed in the buyers agreement. All previous reviews were so true they do not return calls or texts. I don't know who I should call next. Feel really cheated because I trusted BH. And they should not be trusted.
Listing agent Timothy Gordon very hard to work with. Tried to contact him for 3 days with no response. As a listing agent voice mail is full. Does not even both to check with seller when you requesting and requesting. Never work with this company again. Very frustrating.
Worse company to do business with. Evertime i call i get a different answer. Customer service is not helpful, i spoke with Meghan that gave me wrong information about my policy over the phone. Frustrating and waste of. Time
They will treat you like you dont matter. They do not practice due diligence and are unethical. I lost a home purchase and over $5k. They held onto an offer for days and by the time i found out about it, it was too late and a bad offer at that. After 4 attempts to get them to cancel my contract they have yet to honor my request. You would think they owned my home. Never enter into a listing agreement with these people they do not care about you, your families or your wellbeing. My true rating for BHCP is negative 100
I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Steve Smith. I was a first-time homebuyer with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. Steve helped in every way. Such a great person to have throughout the process. Made my process much more easier.
I have Berkshire guard insurance I had a major hail storm and it happened on 4/28/21 it has been a month I have called and called to talk to Sarah the adjuster. She will not return any calls at all I left several messages. As of 5/28 I had 4 individual companies look at roof and all said it was totaled the price all my neighbors got was 12 to 14,000 Dollats. Guard declined the claim saying it did not meet my deductible which is a joke. I am taking them to court take my advice and read reviews about guard insurance. Everyone is like me horrible service. Beware of this terrible company they do not even have a customer service dept
After we were agreed and made the payment in full, I have received a letter asking to make an extra payment. They excepted that it was their fault but they did not waive the extra $42 charge. They should have waived it since it is their fault.
After the payment is done they did not return my emails. /this is not ethical and not proper customer service. I am very disappointed the service they provide.
I think Warren Buffett is a brilliant business man. I say brilliant because he excercises wisdom and temperance in investing. I am not sure what the story is on this website. It is boring. I am sure he got some ribbing from his buddy Bill Gates on how pathetically old school the site is. (Hint: Warren I bet Bill could build one for you in his spare time)
Just an awful experience from start to finish. I have it all posted on my website in great detail if you can stomach it. In the end, before the actual closing - there were problems that Liz didn't even have a clue about that delayed the closing on that day -- BUT Liz took her full 5% commission -- $12,000 -- before the deal actually closed almost two weeks later. It was a nightmare beyond words. But the words are on my site: mmm6ftgirl.net. Liz DiPrimo should hang her head in shame. As should Berkshire Hathaway. An embarrassment.
I am a disabled veteran. Used VA loan to purchase my first house. I looked at a house and told the agent to put an offer in. She called the listing agent (who was selling the house because his grandparents died and left the house to him and his uncle). All was well until my agent stated it was a VA loan. Damon Covert (the listing agent) said that he was not going to deal with a VA loan because it was too much of a hassle. He said because this was his own house he didn't want to put up with "VA $#*!". He didn't know that I was standing next to my agent when he ran his mouth. He then put my personal information on Google reviews when I posted a review about him. BH seems to spawn ignorant, unethical agents.
Tip for consumers:
Stay clear of Berkshire. They will use any unethical means to make as much money for themselves
When my real estate agent said "don't worry, you can cancel this listing AT ANY TIME if you're not happy with my work/results, I believed him. Don't believe them about anything. He should have said, if he'd been honest, "you can cancel the listing anytime but my broker won't let you out of this listing or if you sell the property we'll sue you". Don't walk, RUN away from this group of lying thieves.
They will sucker you in and then after a few months bail and send you a cancellation notice for no reason. Then send you to a company they own at high risk rates. Once that cancellation is on your record you can't get insurance without it being crazy high..
I rented a condominium at a golf resort in Naples Florida for 3 months starting 1/1/20. I told the broker that this was a first time rental for me and I wanted to play golf during my rental. In addition to monthly rent of $4,000 i paid and additional $400 to acquire golf membership privileges for my entire rental period. Months after the check cleared and RIGHT before I'm going to move in, I learn that I still have to pay extra fees to play golf at the golf course. When I called the broker to complain about the misrepresentation, he just said that everybody does that...
Trying to rent a home in town and the agent has been jerking us around for 2 weeks now and is refusing to return calls/texts. That is not how you do business. Do not do any business with this company.
My realtor Marg Whedon lied to me, manipulated me into a contract I never wanted to be in! Then when I fired them, they have continued to delay me and prevent me from selling my property! She works for the buyer, not the seller! They also are refusing to give me back info for a cash buyer I got myself and had given the info to them incase her manipulated deal fell through, Message to her friend that she has been trying to get a property for 2 years, Do yourself a favor and get a new agent!
I was interested in a rental. After 2 emails, 2 requests to tour, and leaving a voicemail, I finally get an email back saying another agent will get back to me. After waiting a whole day, I emailed again asking if I could get in touch with the agent directly. They told me to continue to wait. Hours later i searched the agent myself and got the phone number and sent a text. Hours later she finally contacts me with a small window of time to be there. No flexibility, no trying to accommodate the client. I had to rearrange my work schedule to see it and the next day she wants to change the appointment. Meanwhile I see the property is no longer available and when i ask why I got text after text trying to goad me into an argument. I finally had to tell her to stop texting or I would consider it harassment. She also had the nerve to claim their company is " the best rated in the state" if that's true we're in big trouble!
