Sheila Gschwind is exceptional in all aspects! She is very knowledgeable about market conditions, quick to handle any issues that came up and went above and beyond for myself and my family! We are beyond impressed and grateful for her guidance in both selling and buying. Sheila is professional, thorough, personable and just a fun person to be around. More importantly, She knows her role as an advisor to her customers better than any real estate professional we have ever worked with. She uses a practical approach to positioning the property, supported by detailed facts and a very experienced steady hand. My advice to others that want to attain the highest value for their property, while minimizing the burden to them personally; engage Sheila as your trusted advisor and broker.
I came to you in good faith and you promised a great sale of my house. When you showed up you were very RUDE and IGNORANT. You even called my agent. I think you were butt hurt because you showed up earlier than our agreed time and you had to wait for me. I was very Disrespected. You just gave your company a bad name and I will NEVER recommend you or your company to anyone selling their home! Thank you Ted Musial... And you call me later to sell my house?
After having my car severely damaged whilst being transported to container depot for shipment to England i claimed damages &was finally agreed. When asked if the address the had was the one to send check to I said I prefer wiring g the money. Was told they only do checks? Its the 21st century! I recieved a check &now have to go through the expense & time consuming (6-8) weeks process of getting a dollar check transferred into UK pounds. This is going to cost hundreds of dollars due to the lousy exchange rate give. The worst unhelpfull ucooperative insurance company I've ever dealt with.

We bought a home adjacent to a commercial building managed by Berkshire Hathaway in Cheboygan Michigan. We had issues with snow and garbage container being shoved onto our property. Our garage sets lower than the parking lot that gets plowed in the winter so when the warmer temps hit we have water in the garage. Berkshire Hathaway of Cheboygan Michigan Agents Angela and Audrey showed no responsibility of the issue. We even had the police called on us because we put up a beautiful fence to keep it from being pushed onto our property. The police found us to be in compliance of the property line survey. I wouldn't buy a pair of roller skates from these trouble makers. This has been a 5 year ordeal. We finally got relief from this situation when the place was sold. Amen! What a relief!
Watch out! I worked with an agent from this organization; could have done a better job myself on negotiating. All they care about is getting the $$$$ of their commission. Made several mistakes that I learned from the Seller after we cancelled the contract. THX GOD I got my 10K EM back. Steer clear - Marc Fagen was my agent.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE MARC FAGEN BHHS...
Deb McDermott in Grand Island is a horribly, wrenched person to deal with, and I strongly recommend that you don't! She constantly harasses me. I split my rent to coincide with my paydays and it never fails just beflre payday she bombards me with text and or emails asking about the rent. As if life isn't stressful enough these days I get to have this witch breathing down my neck harassing me twice a month! One day her and her handyman came over unannounced (her fault, not the handyman) my son comes downstairs to get something to eat only to find two strangers in his house! She has threatened to evict me and or charge a late fee even though she agreed to split my rent. I try to ignore her but sometimes i'll just ask her if she has forgotten that I split my rent. Every time I get paid my rent is due, it's really not too difficult to figure out. I assume she is a bully by nature and can't help herself from harassing me even though she knows when I get paid.
I called Dolores Ingels on accident trying to get a hold of my home owners insurance, She was very rude, and was the involved in the purchase of my house. Instead of helping get the number, She hung up on me.
Very unimpressed...
Tip for consumers:
Lose the attitude, she had the info, rude old lady
Been at the woodlands location for over 4 years, W3 properties were Amazing! These freaks come in loose rent During COVID and make us pay Again.
We had a special place here until Berkshire came in Now everyone is moving, such terrible people! Get out of Texas Your not Welcome.
We tried working with Melissa Fox of Berkshire Hathaway Schuylkill Haven, PA office. We attempted to set up dialogue and make an appointment with her after speaking with her in person. She couldn't have been more uninterested. Melissa Fox never responded to our messages or voicemails! We would assume that Melissa Fox and Berkshire Hathaway are independently wealthy and don't take pre-approved buyers seriously in such a booming market. Our advice is to stay away from this office and agent!
Arpi was the agent and is very dishonest and unethical.
They tried to force the judge to close on a house today in the middle of a divorce where they were attempting to put 100% of all proceeds in one of the divorcees accounts and refusing to cut a check for 50% of the proceeds to the other party. It didn't close!
Tip for consumers:
Stay away completely
This company will call your past landlords, which they say they go by your credit report and credit score. They also will pick your lowest credit score and deny you service. They claim they call the landlords if on your credit only not true, if it's not on my report why did you call them. Plus how did you get that information. To many sneaky peeks and lies. Do not try to rent anything with them. They pick who they want to rent to and do not use fair rental practices.

Look elsewhere

How can a company sell a loan buy back the house repair the house and sell the house to their non bank business again. First a house goes into default with low money down and most likely paid more than they could afford the house, house falls into an insurance claim PMI. Bank gets paid full value. Now Zillow gets these to dump back into the market through auction services now is trying to buy houses hires Berkshire (who is also trying to buy USG) to fix the house back up. Then Zillow sells the house buyer gets another non bank loan through Berkshire. Berkshire sells at a higher cost on the back of a bad loan deal incredible right. Is this what the Republicans had in mind by giving tax cuts to businesses at a discount. In our free market system where the wealthy control everything. And turn a blind eye to corruption.

Horrible customer service! I bought the Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection due to 2 uncertainties: COVID-19 and my wife's unpredictable work schedule. One month before our travel date, my wife's employer requested she reschedule her vacation due to urgent work matters aggravated by COVID-19. When I called Berkshire Hathaway customer service to explore the options of using my travel insurance due to employment conflict, something clearly advertised as protected by the Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection, the guy I talked to was rude, curt, unprofessional and not helpful at all. After being on the phone with him for 5 minutes, trying to explain our scheduling conflict situation, I finally just hung up on him when he accused me of insurance fraud! He was an asinine charlatan! I will NEVER use Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection or recommend them to anyone!

Chocolate eaters be aware of See's Candies. I would purchase their dark chocolates on a regular basis. I was recently informed that It contains GMO ingredients. Yuck!
Called 3 times since Nov. Trying to get policy stopped. Noone gave the same info. Wait times to different departments crazy. And then not even the right department!
Still waiting!
Very pleased with our realtor agent, Natalya Cruz. She was professional and very helpful answering my questions when I called, found the right house I would recommend Berkshire hathaway.
If you are a salesperson you need to read this! I originally found a Berkshire Hathaway in the valley but lived on the Westside. Due to the drive, I decided to join the Beverly Hills branch. When I went in to sign up, they charged me $2,600.00 but that's not the worst part. The split was 60/40 and the manager was a total n'aire due well since his mom carried the torch into Real Estate. I DID NOT EVEN GET MY OWN OFFICE! Moreover, they never changed my license address with the Real Estate Board to the Beverly Hills address. I asked the manager if I could have a female coach. He said no and put me with a guy. The guy taught me an old method called "farming" where you door knock. It was humiliating and a disgrace. They gave me no training, their office meetings are just a bunch of "fluff" and they will overcharge you. Remember, you are starting your own business so you will be needing: business cards, posters, signs to post for open houses and the like. They will not even give you a lead or let you sit on an open house. If they are treating their agents this way can you imagine what they do to their customers? I completely understand why they have 1.5 stars! They are so unprofessional and haphazard. Warren Buffet? NO THANKS!
Tip for consumers:
If you are a new sales agent, I recommend going with someone you know.

I had to get professional photos which was $600, buy all of the Berkshire/Hathaway merch and pay for my own parking without so much as a small office. They are charlatans.
They advised me I had 7 days to pay a change of address fee, they then proceeded to cancel the option to pay online, said I couldn't pay over the phone, made life SO difficult and then cancelled the policy anyway, now I have a cancelled insurance on my file and am being charged through the nose! I'm a single mum and this pushed me into financial difficulty - they DO NOT care about their customers, they are only out to make money and will stamp on any little people with no due regard! I beg you, DO NOT USE THEM OR ANY OF THEIR COMPANIES!
Extremely pushy, does not respect th tenant all! Wants to come and view the property and even tho we told her how sick the family has been, still pushy and down right rude!
Brenda Tovson was paid $4500. 00 and did nothing have not heard from her for months want her to donate the money to charity she should be ashamed of her self.
After signing a lease on August 28th under an Agent from Berkshire Hathaway, we were told in rude text messages we could not have the house on August 30th even though we had until Sept 1st to secure deposit. We were treated extremely rude, cut off, cursed at and after we had already made arrangements to transfer utilities and change our childs school. I would not recommend working with this agent out of the Simpsonville, SC office. We have the signed contract and took it to a Judge who said legally we could still get the house, but who in their right mind would lease from a person who treats you like gold before the lease and like trash after. Reported her to the BBB, Real Estate Licensing Board, the Judge and left message for her Broker in Charge. They wouldn't even give us our $57 dollar app fee back after breaching the contract. Now we have 2 weeks to find a rental and they wasted a week of our time.
My experience at Berkshire Hathaway with Robert Anderson was extremely satisfying. He was honest, helpful, mindful of my wants in a home, informative, and he made the process effortless and pleasant.
We purchased workmans' comp through this company. The monthly premiums were based on the total gross earnings of the employees. I guess they felt they didn't make enough and billed us for an insane amount at the end of the year (which would come out to 2/3rds of what our employees made). I've paid every time, as promised, per our signed mutually agreed upon contract; and this final bill was a little sketchy to say the least. I've asked several times to show me a signed contract which would note any type of "minimum." They will not provide the evidence and attempt to revert to bullying tactics to attempt to get an unlawful payment. I wish I could say they had "hidden fees" but really, they just try to steal from their customers. Obviously, they didn't get any extra money out of me, and they still haven't produced a signed document or contract (which is completely unethical). They're professionalism is, well, wanting. As soon as you push back and ask for evidence, they'll hang up the phone. Beware of this company.
