Sheila Gschwind is exceptional in all aspects! She is very knowledgeable about market conditions, quick to handle any issues that came up and went above and beyond for myself and my family! We are beyond impressed and grateful for her guidance in both selling and buying. Sheila is professional, thorough, personable and just a fun person to be around. More importantly, She knows her role as an advisor to her customers better than any real estate professional we have ever worked with. She uses a practical approach to positioning the property, supported by detailed facts and a very experienced steady hand. My advice to others that want to attain the highest value for their property, while minimizing the burden to them personally; engage Sheila as your trusted advisor and broker.
I came to you in good faith and you promised a great sale of my house. When you showed up you were very RUDE and IGNORANT. You even called my agent. I think you were butt hurt because you showed up earlier than our agreed time and you had to wait for me. I was very Disrespected. You just gave your company a bad name and I will NEVER recommend you or your company to anyone selling their home! Thank you Ted Musial... And you call me later to sell my house?
I SPOKE WITH SHARON hENRY IN CLAIMS EXPLAINING THE ILLEGALITY OF SUPPORTING TRAVELEX FLIGHT INSURANCE SCAM OF SELLING INTERNET TRAVEL INSURANCE WITH FALSE AND DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. HER REFUSAL TO INFORM HER SUPERVISOR OF THIS ILLEGAL COLLABORATION HAS MOTIVED ME TO CONTACT THE AYYOURNEY GENERAL AND CONSUMER WATCHDOG AGENCIES. BEWARE OF BH ON ALL LEVELS OF BUSINESS AND DESIST IN INVESTMENT.
Unprofessional and complete lack of communication. I was a renter for one of their properties and the only time the property manager would reply to an email, text, or a phone call was when she needed something from me. Takes over four weeks to get a reply and that is only after you call and ask to speak with a supervisor. Could not live in the house for the first four days of occupancy because of maintenance issues and I was not refunded any per diem. Property manager promised a lot of work related items to the house (not in writing, just verbally) and nothing was completed in one year. They demand the security deposit immediately, but will be quick to let you now they have 45 days to return your deposit. Then they will try to nickel and dime you for normal wear and tear items, and claim the house needs cleaning even though you left it way better than it was given to you.
Dishonest management company. Good luck trying to get anyone to call you back. Or extend any kind of professional courtesy. This will happen to you if you rent a property from Berkshire Hathaway. If you want Berkshire Hathaway... just go to a different one. DO NOT use the one in Central Park in Fredericksburg, VA.
They will breach the contract and you are stuck with it. Thank God we listed for 60 days.
Be warned! George Patsio doesn't care. List and they will sabotage the sale of your property!
She is either MIA, late, or after 20 days will tell you she has needs help as she doesn't know your market. Office manager Claudia, Broker George as useless. You will be stuck on a contract like we are. She has no clue what to do to sell a house. OPEN HOUSE AFTER OPEN HOUSE and she is late to all. And if anything she changes the time on MLS at the last minute. We are stuck on a contract after letting them know we are unhappy. Ready, we said we are unhappy on Monday and she took all pictures and info on MLS on Tuesday. DO NOT SIGN WITH HER PR BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY! We are proof over 30 days on the market with no offer, and her other listing on the market 149 days!

The worst they were my agent for 60 days.
Berkshire Hathaway lacks competence in order to successfully execute a real estate transaction. Highly DON'T recommend to anyone serious about selling or purchasing a piece of real estate.
About 2.5 years ago I was looking to buy a townhouse. I had very specific needs such as square footage, finished basement, etc. I located one in southeast Colorado Springs, CO that I thought would work. The starting bid was $220k and I ended up bidding $30k over asking price. The sellers agent was Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. The appraisal came in okay but my agent (Coldwell Banker of Denver) thought since she had an inspection of sorts from Berkshire that I would not need to get another. So I trusted her advise. Within weeks of moving in this is the list of things I had to replace or repair: stove, refrigerator, water heater, garage door motor, sump pump. There were a few other things I changed but those were cosmetic so I figured that expense was on me. Now, just two days ago I had an AC man come in and told me that both motors on my AC unit and furnace needs to be replaced.
I have been in contact with Berkshire and their reply was basically "buyer beware" tough luck---you bought it---it's yours.
The main thing is I had a house previous to this one in Aurora, CO that my husband and I bought about 5 years previously. He died in the house while I was out of town and for that and financial reasons I decided to sell to Colorado Springs where my son lived.
All of the repairs that I have had to make in this house added up to about $15k---most all of the nest egg I had saved up from the sale of my previous house. I give up at this point and am selling and moving out of state where the cost of living is much better. I am at this point just getting it ready for market in early fall, cut my losses and run.
I have never experienced service with an insurance agency who made me question the company's integrity as I have with this company. I have never! This company is not even my insurance agency. I filed a claim due to a "no fault of my own" claim. The adjusters (all those that I reached out to) seemed to have cared less about my claim as I had to keep reaching out to them or asking for the next chain of command to finally get to a conclusion for my claim. Any avenues of communication I was on them. The adjusters wouldn't even do as they stated and this happened much of the time. No returned phone calls as stated. No response to emails. I am well aware of COVID and it's affects and neither was I the only person being served but 6/7 months for a conclusion is unacceptable as I see it. My claim stayed open for about six/seven months after my accident and I am wondering if I had not of stayed on them it probably would still be out there somewhere in limbo right now. I've never heard of this insurance agency before now. I even read reviews from other dissatisfied customers and their reviews pretty much mirrored mine. Finally, my claim has been concluded for the "sake of their peace".
I just saw Current Affair in Australia which covered Berkshire Hathaway Insurance trying to rip off the average Aussie family for over 6.0M. What a bunch of bloody crooks!

My husband and I worked with Lauren who made the house buying process easy and fast. So happy to be in our new home!
Lady never showed up and called 1 hr after her time she gave me to say i can't make it today, what a waste of a person.

Don't expect a security deposit return, or A/C, or anything helpful from these vampires. Absolute $#*!
Sandra was representing the seller in this situation. She started off very professional and friendly. This didn't last. As our negotiation continued, Sandra wasn't very responsive to our agent and got very snarky. Our inspection report indicated that there were problems with the roof. We asked if we could send an independent roofer to evaluate the roof. Sandra told us that we couldn't do this and told our agent that me must stay off of the premises. We believe that she was acting alone. Sandra told our agent that the seller had recently had the roof looked at and the repairs would only cost around $4K. This was not the case.
Sandra kept sending aggressive emails(we saw them) to our agent saying that the owner would not consider any attempt to renegotiate,….period. She eventually stopped responding to our agent's calls and emails so we decided to have our lawyer contact the seller's lawyer. At this time we were allowed to have an independent roofer look at the roof prior to us revising our offer. This independent roofer came to the conclusion that the entire roof needed to be replaced. We came to a settlement when the lawyers got involved. Sandra lacked professionalism and we believe that she was speaking for the seller. We would not recommend her.
Complete Bedroom Ceiling Fell due to poor construction.
Snook Drive, St. Petersburg, Florida.
Maintenance response POOR
Can't follow contract law had a interact in which they write and they didn't follow the law. I would never suggest this company or recommend them
Not enough room to explain all the mishaps due to incompetence. Very angry, sad and confused by the lack of professionalism.
Joe Parr was very professional and helpful. I sold my property quickly for the price I wanted. I would recommend Berkshire Hathaway to my friends.
Avoid agent gia perez-a heavy drinker-a drunk-she will ask you for money & than laugh at you & not pay you back
This business is totally outdated and irrelevant in today's trajectory. Good bye never comes across.

They are advertising so much irrelevant data I.e no sense garbage for investing on YouTube. Please stop this right now.
They are the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and don't even open this stinky gross can of worms.
I rented a property from them for three years. It was given to me dirty with stains on the carpet and yard dirty but I moved in anyways thinking all this would be fixed by my move in date and boy was I wrong I never paid rent late and also paid a couple months in advance. Then when it came time to move first of all if your purchasing a home you can't get out of hour lease which most places allow, Then you have to give a 90 day notice before you move which maybe it's just me but i believe that's a far stretch heck i wasn't even sure I was gonna close on my home within 90 days. Then once I moved out oh boy the Property manager gave me issues from the beginning kimber Davenport was completely unprofessional. It was like pulling teeth trying to get her to fix things in the house that were normal wear and tear and the only time I did hear from her it was through email which was nothing but threats and complaints from her never trying to resolve any issues or concerns. I'm sorry but I'm like how do you expect me to have things done to the property that weren't even done prior to me moving in? I even left the property way cleaner then how it was received it. At this point I feel like she's money hungry! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! YOU'LL GET MORE THAN WHAT YOU BARGAINED FOR YOUVE BEEN WARNED!
Jeff told us there was another offer on this home. 6225 McCords in Alto Michigan. We paid 590.00 for an inspection and offered 356,000 and wasted our money. The seller did not disclose the flue on the roof was bad and he conducted his own electrical work so the wires were backwards. I was told by Jeff that the screens that weren't on the chimney would be a total of 75.00 and the caps and the flue to be fixed would total 500.00. I called a chimney company and they told me 3,500 to 7,000 to fix the flue. The caps are 300.00 to 400.00 each and 75.00 each for the screen. Jeff made it seem if we asked the sellers for anything that we are asking for to much. Why would I pay 7,000 more than the asking price then be stuck with a water problem on the home because the chimney had no caps or screens to keep out water or animals. Then on top of that the flue was bad which was not disclosed because it is apart of the roof and the seller caulked it knowing the flue had issues. Also, Berkshire Hathaway is a nonsense to deal with, they don't like to release your earnest deposit. Took me 2 weeks to get my deposit back as if I didn't lose enough. His boss Jim Face is the broker and doesn't care as well. These are people who have been give. Their jobs because their dads were in the real-estate business. They do not care about getting you the funds, then they make you feel inadequate because you want something fixed. I would not recommend Jeff or Berkshire Hathaway for any home buyer. I was tired of the way I was treated. Then Mr. Face threatens to call the law if you request your earnest deposit back. If they have a review as I see they don't I will leave my review because this was ridiculous.
When I tell you stay away I MEAN IT! The minute we expressed we were not satisfied with the service they immediately removed all pictures of the listing. We were OBLIGATED to stay with the contract until the end.
She was late to every open house, In the hospital for most of it and broker didn't assign someone else to us, we had to ask her to send out publication on property (that needed approval from admin), after property on the market 22 days she admits she knew nothing about our market and was going to seek help from a local, people that came in to open house were either not pre-approved, or this house was not what they were looking for (how I don't know). Her suggestions made you wonder if she was working for the seller or buyer. Even suggested reduce price, buy point, and the best one give buyer $10k.
Ask her what's her plan when selling your house. I guarantee she will say well I will have a broker open house (trust me no one will show up), then open house day 1 and 2, and then we will re-access where we are. Hopefully we will have offers. Our property sat 30 days with her and we can count with one hand how many people came during open house. She even said we had a private showing (it was a lie- no one came). The minute we realize WHAT HAVE WE DONE, was the minute we sat here and had to show the property to potential buyers ourselves. Be very careful!
Her other listing is still sitting on the market after over 90 days. Her broker is even worst, we called to discuss releasing us out of the listing contract is over and we have yet to receive a call.
Stay away! Don't ruin your ability to sell your property! Don't lost with APRIL ZELESNIK!
Tip for consumers:
End the listing contract and not hold our property hostage for 3 months.

Re$#*!ulasly hard beds... chlorine burns from hot tub. Never again. This was the worst i have ever wasted my money on.
I am a first time home buyer and expecting any day now. I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism this company has. This has been a roller coaster through them. We knew there would be some stress but was not expecting the lack of communication and professionalism. This company has pushed to move our closing date up which we have agreed and then on multiple occasions they have dragged there feet with sending documents or even getting the documents over the the seller. We have been dealing with Lynn Risch and she has been nothing but unprofessional. She has spoken bad about our realtor on multiple occasions, dragged things out when they were trying to close early and now that we finally closed she is keeping the keys from us. I find it unprofessional when you can tell us the garage door code and tell us how they will have the keys on the property and let us know where they are. The next day we pack up and go to the new house for them to tell us they won't release the keys to us. After multiple attempts to get in contact with Lynn we finally get a response and had to wait for a document to get send over because once again there was no communication of this. It has been extremely aggravating. We have done everything on our end to bend over backwards to get everything to them, any documents they needed signed we had reviewed and send back same day but when my realtor would ask for things or need signatures they would drag there feet. Lynn has been nothing but unprofessional and has bad talked our realtor. She never answers her phone, doesn't reply to our realtor. This whole process has been a waiting game with her. I will never go through this company nor will I recommend anyone to sell, or buy through this company especially through her. We have spoken to multiple people regarding our situation that have bought homes and no one has had to deal with this much aggravation or unprofessionalism when buying a house. Like I said I would never recommend Lynn or this company to anyone that buys or sells a house.
