I've ordered from BH Cosmetics twice... I own maybe 5 or 6 eye shadow palettes and 3 blush palettes and a set of brushes and have been extremely happy with all of my purchases (along with a purchase from Ulta which is where I found the brand originally). This makeup is reasonably priced and looks good on... there are a variety of shades/colors and I had zero problem with shipping/tracking/delivery. I'm glad I ordered before seeing all these reviews as I'm very satisfied and if I had seen these reviews first, I'd never tried them out. IBY Beauty is another fave... just because make up is more expensive, doesn't make it better quality.

Scam. Ordered from BH Cosmetics official website but never received my makeup palette. Package was sitting in another state for 2 weeks. I disputed the charge and got my money back. Do not order from here. They just want your money and not to see you happy. Screenshots were taken February 23,2021.

I have ordered a lot of products from BH Cosmetics and have not had any bad experiences until recently. Since I have ordered from them in the past I know how long it takes to ship to my location. When a week went by without a tracking number I just decided to request a refund. I sent an email and received a generic response. I called, and was told they were on lunch and I would get a call within half an hour. I decided to elevate my concerns to paypal and once I did that I finally received a callback. I was told FedEx misplaced it but was going to ship it and that I should receive it the following week. I told them I was no longer interested in the product and just wanted a refund to which they replied I would have to receive and send back the order. First of all the order was never processed through FedEx, that was just something I was told so they could keep my money. Secondly they handled that horribly, if they would have admitted they messed instead of lying to cover up their negligence then it might not have been such an issue. After I told her they were responsible for getting their items and refunding my money as quickly as possible, she said she was going to callback (never got a callback). Once I saw they were going to try to keep my money and still send the items regardless of the email traffic and phone calls I had to call my bank to dispute the payment. Products are great, service is horrible. I honestly wish I did not have this experience because I love their makeup but I refuse to support a business who does not value the customer or own up to their mistakes.

I ordered a package with several items a few weeks back. Initially I was sent an email that was intended to keep track of where my package was at in the process. From that moment forward I was not updated on anything. As a matter of fact I had the product since yesterday and it still says according to those emails that it is in the warehouse. Once those finally arrived I realized that one of my products was still missing. When I finally got a hold of customer service the only thing I was looking for was an answer as to why it was not included in my package as well as why I was not informed of it. It almost seems to me as if they were hoping I didn't know it was missing and wouldn't have to issue me a refund. They did offer a gift card instead but should I have decided to use it I would have ended up paying more in shipping and handling and the gift card itself was worth. Again the only thing I really wanted was a refund and an answer and once I asked for it they stopped speaking to me. Emails stopped suddenly. Again the products are beautiful, but the service makes is awful

I ordered many products when they were having a sale which was on September 2nd. After about 2 and a half weeks, still no tracking information. I emailed Them and they responded saying to allow up to 8 business days to receive tracking information, which I did. Still nothing. I went to their Instagram page and left a comment, and they replied "hey love, please Dm us your order number we can help!"

After doing that, they said to check my email from their billing department. They CANCELLED my order for no reason and in the email it stated "bh is not obligated to give a reason for cancelling your order" and other Bs...

THEN, it gets worse. In the cancellation email they sent me it states, "please allow 2 to 7 business days for a full refund on your card", I wait the FULL 7 business days, and still no refund. I then email the billing department, and its been 3 days now with no response! They are definitely ignoring me! Plus when I call their office number I can never get through to a representative.

One of the worst experiences ever, they literarily just scam people.

My theory is that they have all these sales in which people spend a lot of Money, and do not have enough products to supply their customers with so they cancel their orders with no refund!

Last thought, I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. It sucks to be scammed out of your hard earned money :(

I have been ordering from them for quite a while now, when new items of there ( not calibration) comes out they ship 2 day priority for the regular price. Regular order take 5 days to process and then finally ships and you receive it in another 5 to 10 business days. Carli Bybel deluxe palette fiasco is another reason to stay away. After three hours of trying to get the order to go through i figured out why it wasn't. Ebates had a 5% return on bh cosmetics which a lot of people use so in turn this would make the company lose money so After 3 Hours of trying to pace the order with ebates I turned around and erased my computer history and cookies and tried directly through there sites and bam they order went through. So instead of them being honest with there customers, they ignored it, forced people to call to get there refund back and didnt give anyone any compensations for there time and headaches that they received due to this fiasco. These cosmetic companies get away with it because it feeds on the addiction of the buyers, so no matter what they do wrong the buyer craves it so it doesn't matter. If your like me and enjoy stuff but value your time and money and self respect more than you need to start demanding better from the places you put your money into.

Tip for consumers:
Stay on top of them and demand better customer service if needed and ask for a manager if you are not satisfied. do not forget to ask for names and where the call center is at or from.

I ordered a set of brushes that was supposed to be a Secret Santa gift for Christmas. I waited two weeks and have not received any shipping info so i contacted them where they told me to rest assured they have sent out my package with FedEx and that FedEx was experiencing some delays. A week and a half from there I email them again because i have NOT received any updates about my package from FedEx. Turns out FedEx also have not received my package from bhcosmetics. And then two days before my party I receive an email from them only to be told that the item i ordered WAS OUT OF STOCK! How can you tell a customer their item is shipped out, wait almost a WHOLE month and then tell them the item they ordered is out of stock -__- SO RIDICULOUS AND DISAPPOINTING! I will not being ordering anything from them again. Just based on customer service, im giving them 1 star, 0 if i could.

So I ordered from the Bh Cosmetics website in Feb. 2019.
Cons: (1)I started an account but somehow my order wasn't under it so I couldn't check under my account for tracking.(2) Order took 2 weeks to come and tracking was unorganized I ordered 4 items and under the tracking site only 2 items were to be shipped together. (3) Debit Card was compromised literally the second day after order was processed. The hacker attempted to take money 5 times. They succeeded 4 but because I don't keep much on that card, I caught the second attempt and they only took about $20 and the card ran into the negatives (got card canceled).
Pros: All 4 items came together luckily(set of brushes and 3 lipsticks) and the products work great

*GO TO "ULTA BEAUTY STORE" FOR BH COSMETICS PRODUCTS

I placed my order on 12/8/2018. Here we are 12/28/2018 and STILL NO ORDER! I have called soooo many times and have waited for 25min+ and no one answers then it will ring like it's going to connect to somebody and it just goes quiet. I called fedex and usps they stated that they had an insufficient address so the package was sent back to bhcosmetics, the package was sent back to them on 12/15/2018, I received a Vague email back stating that they have confirmed that the package was being sent back to them and they will contact me once it does. Well since then I have sent countless emails with no response back, I have asked them to send my items or give me a refund and they do not respond. I will NEVER order from this company again they absolutely SUCK!

On september 16th I ordered a palette and an eyeliner. After 7 days (24th)I received the invoice and I noticed a mistake in my address so I immediately sent them an email telling them the right address. They answered me thanking me for the correction and that they were having a huge number of shipments and orders and that I had to wait between 4-7 days. In the next 2 days I received another invoice and I saw that they didn't correct my address so I wrote them an email and they answered me that my order was already sent and that I didn't inform then in time, after few minutes I received another email where was written that the order was changed to complete. The only mistake in my address was the number of the house but the postcode and everything was correct and in my street there's no flat like mine with the same name! I wrote them 3 emails and 2 requests on their website but nothing and no answer. Yesterday I sent them an email very upset telling them that I want my money back and that this is not absolutely the properly way to treat customers! I'm still waiting for an answer but nothing. Obviously after this bad experience I'll never order something with them again!

Ok here is an update to what I wrote earlier about my experience with my BH Cosmetics order. So I finally received my order after 7 weeks and after paying the customs 30 euros I opened the package and there was 6 of the items I ordered ( I order 16 items) and someone else's order information slip. There was details of this person, what they ordered and the tracking code to their order. Just out of curiosity I checked where this order info was supposed to go and it said Canada. Erm I am in Finland. I have never been so furious with any company in my life, BH Cosmetics is a JOKE! So I have emailed again many times and have waited for an answer about 2 weeks now. Also I can see that the items I most wanted are now out of stock, 1 of them being a limited editions one! If they ever get back to me I know already what they are going to say - that they will refund my money etc. In any other case I would accept that at this point as I am so done with them and just want this whole mess to over. BUT I paid 52 dollars for the shipping fees + 30 euros for the customs so I really dont think it's fair if they refund the money because then I will lose the shipping fee + customs money. I honestly cant believe they have so so so awful customer service, it's unreal! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM BH COSMETICS if you are an international customer! I do not recommend that!

I am so glad I found this page as I have been SO frustrated with the company! I ordered in November and shipping took 6 weeks to Finland, I also paid for shipping 52 dollars. I ordered bunch of stuff from them but the reason I ordered from them was to get the Cosmetics Bag they sell. So I found out from the website 4 weeks later (from the order date) that they haven't even sent the Cosmetics bag and no it was never out of stock etc. I was upset when I found out that and contacted them about 5 times with email before anyone got back to me. I wrote that I really want to get the item and I have already paid for it + the shipping fee for the item. Once they did get back to me they asked me to send a photo of the order?! Well I haven't even received the order. Plus they said they can refund me or put the money to my BH account. I wrote back to them saying thay it is their mistake that they haven't sent the item so I dont want refund etc - I want the item shipped to me ASAP. Took again forever to them to answer and they send the exact same email saying they can refund me or give the BH account credit?! I was furious and wrote back to them that I want the item - and then nothing. I have written them about 8 times now and they still haven't answered! I am livid! Never ever have I had such an awful customer service experience anywhere! And believe me I have had many many horrible experiences in the past! Also I have been working in customer service myself about 15 years so I know this is unacceptable. Like come on seriously! Never again ordering from them.

I think it's ridiculous that someone who had a problem with me was able to get information about my purchase history. An employee couldn't find anything through my name or the two emails this person gave them but emailed her a link which showed her past shopping carts I made and when my card was declined which she used to try and publicly humiliate on YouTube and Facebook. All and had to say was that I was ordering stuff for her and that she hadn't received it yet and she wanted to make sure it wasn't lost. Idfk you'd think when she gave them my personal info and they couldn't find anything that would be enough which I think is BS bc what I do is NO ONE's business. I'm just really upset for the carelessness and lack of sympathy from BH. I've emailed them asking why my info was given out and they have only responded once saying "I'm sorry this happened to
You what's the order number?" After replying back over a week ago I still haven't received a response. Wish it was as easy for me as it was for the person getting my info.

My best friend ordered some products from Bh cosmetics. Did not receive her entire order & even after she emailed them several times they ignored her emails. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It's a shame the product is so good, yet the shipping is an absolute JOKE. They're using FedEx Smartpost. USPS is absolute crap when it comes to actually deliver the package. IDK why FedEx thought it was a good idea to partner with them, but it wasn't. FedEx is good with their part, but USPS literally takes their sweet time when delivering. My package has been sitting at USPS for almost a week. A WEEK. GET BETTER SHIPPING! Look at your reviews and the amount of complaints. IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF THE SHIPPING.

I placed an ordered this afternoon and right after hitting submit they gave me a confirmation number and details about my package including the shipping details (WHICH they did not go over before purchase) stating that it would take 4-6 business days for the order to process and another 3-4 days for it to arrive. Seeing as this would be cutting it too close for Christmas ( it was supposed to be a Xmas gift) I emailed them and asked to please cancel my order immediately. I did this in less than 10 minutes after submitting the order. I received a reply HOURS later asking me to please be sure to review the orders carefully before submitting them as they DO NOT cancel orders. How can they not cancel orders if IT HAS NOT EVEN SHIPPED OR BEEN PROCESSED since it takes 4 - 6 business days? To make it worse, according to their rep I am to wait for the package to arrive and DENY the delivery so that way they may refund me and from what Ive been reading, it can be a whole other month before I see the package at my front door. I honestly wish there was a way to screenshot their email and paste it on here. This will be the last time I purchase from them. EVER.

After 1 month, my package finally reaches my country and went for delivery. To my horror I received an email saying item could not be delivered as my address was incorrect and my package was forwarded/redirected. Called my local post office and they said that there was no unit number and my package was sent back WTF?!?!?! I panicked and check back my order on BH website and my address was complete with no errors or typo. I always check my address and information many times before ordering as I've done a lot of online shopping. BH COSMETICS FOR GOD'S SAKE. HOW CAN U BE SO EFF UP... So it's going to go back to US for another 1 month. And god knows whether or not I'm going to get my package... in like frickin 3 months. It's my first purchase, spent like 80USD, $110 in my country. And that is frickin a lot to me. UGH I HATE THEM SOOOOOOOOO MUCH.

I ordered once from one of their offers I waited for nearly 3 months for my delivery but I never received it, I asked for refund and after many e mails and maybe 2 weeks I got my money back.

I didn't realize until after ordering that there were "issues" with BH Cosmetics products or shipping. Cue panic mode. I placed my order on or around December 5/6, expecting to have it arrive in time before christmas that I could check for broken product, and then wrap and give it to its recipients. I didn't get notification about product movement until almost a week later, on the 10th saying it "shipped". However when I checked tracking, it didn't even get to the shipping company until the 11th. So, when BHC says it's shipped, it's not: It's just had the shipping label printed. Then, the estimated arrival date from California to Alabama was said to be the 20th of December. Considering I had ordered on the 5/6th, that's entirely too late, even for Christmas ordering, since Christmas deals don't happen until that week anyway. However, after being in Merkel, Texas, for about 36 hours according to tracking, which I checked less than 2 days ago, all my product arrived today, the 15th. And of my FIVE eyeshadow palettes, and one liquid lipstick, not a single pan of a single product was broken. And 9/10 day shipping is fairly reasonable considering it traveled the country, WITHOUT breaking, during the holiday season.

So the shipping communication needs work, because it's highly inaccurate; And their shipping information landing page is wayyyyy unupdated, you 100% need to copy the tracking number and actually search the shipping provider's tracking system to accurately view its progress. But overall, I'm grateful and impressed that all is well.

Do yourself a favor and depending where you live, you are WAY better off walking into your local beauty store for the things you need. When checking out, I saw that there was an option to pay for "2 day", now normally, when you order from any other website, if you pay for "2 day" that means that it will be at your house within 2 days. I have ordered from BH Cosmetics before and I am already familiar with their products and they aren't ANYTHING DIFFERENT from your fav beauty shop. Upon emailing BH's customer service, I explained to them why I was upset with my package still being processed even though I paid extra to have it shipped early. I was told that that is normal and I'm sorry but it really isn't because I have never had this issue with any other business, nor would I ever bother paying extra for something to get to my house earlier when it isn't going to be here earlier lol I could understand if their products are out of this world, and I can also understand if it even said something in fine print, but no I will not be a customer any longer.

This was my first time ordering from them, I ordered 2 Modern Mattes 28 Colors Eye shadow Pallete, and a contour kit. The shipping was terribly slow, I had a shipment from the notoriously slow EMS processed and shipped faster than this (I'm in Philadelphia so makes no sense to me that a package from China made it faster than one coming from within the US). Waiting so long for my product wasn't the disappointment though, when it finally made it one of my eye shadow kits were missing. I contacted the company and they replied the same day at least and asked me if I would like to reship it so I agreed because I wanted the product. In all honesty I shouldv'e taken the refund because the one that they reshipped has the red color completely smashed, mixed with the top coat of all the colors and if i want them clear from the red I have to keep wasting product trying to reach the core of the eye shadow container. I hardly ever take time give bad reviews, and in case of the reshipment I understand we are all humans and mistakes can happen, but this is my hard earned money out the window and now I'm still waiting for them to reply and see how they handle this horrible experience. If you are luckier than me and have a better service the product is worth the price and it works. It's just everything that's bad about BH

I may not have had to wait as long as others, but I would like to note that the shipping is very so slow. I don't have any issues with the customer service, they were prompt with response and were very helpful. I work in customer service so I understand how it is and I'm a patient person, but I am also a consumer. I placed my order back on 11/09. I received a confirmation immediately and in the email it states 4-6 business days to process the order. Come 11/20 and it still has not been processed and shipped. Emailed customer service, they apologized and explained my order was just past the 6 business days of processing. We were on day 7 and it would process soon is what they told me. Order was processed the next day and I got the tracking number and it was shipped on 11/22. Thing is, on FedEx's website, it shows the label was made on 11/17. Why did it take 5 days (3 business days) to slap a label on a box and get it moving? My order was over 45$ so I could get the free shipping but the processing time is asinine. Anyway, I've been on top of my order since the day it shipped and I know once the package is out of the warehouse, its out of BH's hands, but FedEx it extremely slow. Currently, my package, according to the tracking information, it has been in Georgia for 4 days. My delivery was initially scheduled for today (as of yesterday) but when I checked it just now, it was moved back to 12/04. Btw, my order was being shipped to Florida. It'd be one thing to have to wait this long for an order coming overseas, but from my understanding, the warehouse my order shipped from was somewhere in California. It shouldn't take this long to arrive. Its ridiculous. Like I originally said, ordered it back on 11/09, being delivered on 12/04. That's a little under a month. I just hope the products make up for the slow shipping time. Right now its two stars from me.
