This is another useless agency that California tax dollars are wasted on. It's disgusting. I had a complaint about a service where my personal property was damaged. My customer representative was Kristen. She took my complaint down and still needed to do a phone interview for details.
After being given the go ahead by me to talk to the vendor I hear back over a month later asking for an update from me. HUH? You are supposed to be standing up for consumer protections and be providing updates to me. Kristen then asks me for more information since the vendor has been court ordered to pay me money. At this point I start to feel like I'm doing Kristen's job and giving her info for a file, but none of this resolves my issue. She also stated several times that her agency has no actual power and can't even take away the vendors license. So basically this is a useless agency funded by taxpayers that employs people to do nothing. I'm disgusted at this point. Then Kristen and I get into a heated email exchange where at this point I have cut off communication with Kristen who has the maturity of a fly and basically wasted my time. These people need to be fired. Vile misuse of taxpayer money.
