“I was VERY skeptical but bought the 250 bid package...”

I was VERY skeptical but bought the 250 bid package for $149. I won an auction for a Sony 40" TV with Google for $3.04. I did this on December 20,2010 and the TV was delivered on January 13th, 2011. Although their customer service stinks, I did get what i was promised.

“Bidsauce... worst of the worst”

L A.
9/26/20

Shame on bidsauce! Worst site ever. I never received almost $2,000 of my merchandise. Customer service did nothing to rectify anything. Shame on me for not suing their behinds! Please don't waste your time or money. I received my winnings in the beginning. All was great until I noticed items weren't arriving. I reached out to Customer Service. They said it would be arriving soon, but nothing. Don't trust them!

I as well as the other reviews I have seen feel cheated! I did not have a chance to actually say yes I want to purchase the bids, once I put in my card info it immediately charged me 150.00. So I bid and yes I also won a 50.00 gift card... so far 3 weeks no sight of the card. I will dispute the charges on my credit card. I suggest others do the same... if nothing else it will make them uneasy and possibly lose their right to take credit cards.

Unclear info about how the site works, does not allow you to register for "guaranteed wins" when you attempt to click on it. Wish I had read the blogs first! I never would have been suckered into it.

I went to sign up and noticed right away that there was no other choice for a bidbox than the $89.95, even though there were much cheaper options advertised. Buyer beware, that $89.95 charge is there, but it is tiny and on the registration page right above where you enter your credit card info. There is no mention of a $149.00 charge, like others have mentioned here. When you try to leave the registration page, the site won't let you- that is ALWAYS a sign of a scam.
I did not enter my card info, but I did enter my e-mail info. Hopefully my spam filter will keep them from blasting me with useless e-mails. I'm glad I listened to my intuition, especially after finding site jabber. I did my research about bidsauce, and found almost nothing but glowing reviews- it took some fancy wording in a search engine to find site jabber.

I ordered from BidSauce over 5 months ago. I have contacted them several times and still have not received my merchandise. They were quick to take my money, but not to deliver. I recently went on BidSurfer.com and won several auctions. This is a brand new site and isn't running 24/7, but they actually deliver! I had my stuff 2 days after I paid! Yes, I said it. TWO DAYS! I am so mad at Bidsauce because I spent a lot of money and have not received anything. All my business now belongs at BidSurfer! They say the more that register, the sooner they will be able to run 24/7. Screw BidSauce, come join me at BidSurfer!

Nov 5th, 2010 decided to try bidsauce.com. I bought a big package for $375 plus upgraded to the platinum for $14.99. I started bidding which granted I jumped in a little to fast which is my fault, but ended up wining 3 auctions for a total of $125 worth of gift cards. Oh then they charged me a shipping fee of a few dollars per item. About a $250 dollar mistake but worse then that still waiting for items lmao. Everytime I contact them they give me the same run around about trying to get backorders caught up. What a joke they were christmas presents last year what the hell do I care now but u think such a great company could afford $125 don't u think especially since it only took about 10 minutes for them to take my money that day and my bids lol.

After reading what the others wrote, I wanted to help also by sharing my thoughts. After signing up with bidsauce (but not buying anything yet) the confirmation email said to click on a link that went to a sight called "Tiny URL." I stopped everything right there: 1) because the Tiny URL site has caused me trouble before and, 2) a confirmation link should lead back to the original site.

Also, Marya K., if you are in fact a real person, then I apologize. But I suspect Marya K. Is a plant. I look out for things like that one opinion sites; reviews that are written too well and sound just a little too much like commercials. The average person doesn't really talk like that. = /

But thank you all for your reviews.

I was charged $149.00 to join the bidding community. I won 4 bids valued at $200.00 and was charged shipping amounting to about $30.00. Three months passed and never received my items. Every time I called, they told me my items (gift cards) were on back order and would be shipped soon. I ended talking to a manager who told me I could not get a refund because it was a binding contract. I told him the contract is null and void since I haven't received my item... the contract states I will receive my items... and as far as I was concerned he is in violation of the contract. Four months later, I disputed the charges with my credit card company as ITEM NOT RECEIVED. And got my $149.00 and my shipping charges with the finance charges back from the credit card company. Bid Sauce is a SCAM. BE SMART... don't let them scam you.

I supposedly won a fancy remot control on 10/11/2010 and have not recieved it. I have contacted them via their instant chat and by phone. They have not even had the courtesy to reply. How can consumers get this phony business shut down?

Paul. H here. My look into Bidsauce ended the same as Terry K and others. The ad says you can try it for free (50 Bids), yet the next after quitting without liking it, I was charged $149.95. Is this ad free? I called to cancel and they told me I could not execute the free bids without being charged. No indication that there would be a charge at all when I was online, only a charge placed on my credit card after I left. They charged that I had not read the terms and conditions to which no reference was made on the signup page. This site is obviously a fraudulant site and should be closed down. From the previous reviews many persons have been cheated by this site.

Scams don't work against smart people. It's the stupid ones that keep hoping to get something for nothing that keep scammers in business. Do you really believe that there are people out there just waiting to give you money? You truly believe that if you sign up and "win" you will get more than you paid for? It's not the scammer's fault that people get ripped off, it's the people trying to get something for nothing who do it to themselves!

Bad, comumication with customer service. Wont call you back, don't e-mail you, just take your money. You read it says free, to sign up. They take 149.95 from your card... times are hard, i can't afford this... sure would bid on items, alot lesser... why can't they just refund money back to the cards... avoid tension with people... dont understand... there is alot of auction site, they are fair... help someone...!

Better Business Bureau can definitely stop these fraudulent activities of Bidsauce. But in order for them to act is to provide them the physical address of Bidsauce. Please log on to www.bbb.org and file your complains.

I don't feel they are honest at all. And I still haven't recieved my article and it's been over 5 weeks. They keep trying to give you more bids. I feel they have their own people driving the bids. Even though in the end it shows you won by a couple dollars and or cents. But when you bid it is costing you 1 dollar for each bid. So it is very disceiving

I followed my email advertisement; I filled in the registration information, including payment methods (I assumed that's for bids). Next I know was presented with a receipt and order #******* for my purchase of 250 bids, Bid sauce Buying Power... costing me $149.95. I was beyond shock, I feel cheated ans misled; what a website confusing; what a SCAM as there was no reading material about this charge. Well, I checked out the site since my credit card account was charged; I used up 157 bids in 45 minutes for a $50 gift card and win nothing; that is equal to $75, a 50% of my total charge. It would have cost much less to purchase a $50 gift card; at least I will have my merchandise. My hard earned money is gone to such SCAM Artist, it is sickenly. I would like this site be investigated, it ripoff customer, they use all kinds of trickery to make you believe it is real.

Stay away from such site... SCAM... SCAM... SCAM

Biggest scam out there in Pennyland. I won 35 gift cards. 4 months later I called to find out where they were. They said they had 'vendor' problems. After threatening to go to the BBB, a week later I got 33 of them. They charge $7 shipping for each card, but they sent them all in 1 package! So they ripped me off for over $200 in shipping! It's been 6 months and I wm still waiting for the other 2. A month ago I called and they said they would email me a tracking number later that day. It never came so I called again a week later. They said "we have no idea when your cards will be shipped." Starting tomorrow I will do everything in my power to have this place shut down. STAY AWAY!

I hate this site! I just discovered this site today. I've been looking for penny auction sites since I already reached the win limit at skoreit, bidcactus and quibids. I made investigation and finally joined this site since they have items for auction every few minutes... I hate waiting several hours for an item. I bought the 250 bidpack for $149 for 1st time buyer. After playing in the beginners auction I used up all my bids and just won $25 worth of gift card. As I mentioned I'm actually not new in this auction thing since I've been a regular of the 3 penny sites I mentioned. The chances of winning at bidsauce is so slim. Not gonna play here again. Does anyone know any penny auction site that has higher chance of winning? Thanks

Run.run.run. BE SMARTER THAN I WAS. I won 2 auctions in November and have yet to receive the merchandise. I called several times and was told that the merchandise was on back order. When I questioned them about why they are auctioning item that are not hand, I never got a answer to that. The customer service is a joke. I am thinking about reporting them to the better business bureau. When I asked for the manager, I was refused the name and the representative also refused to give his name. Run... run... run.

OK, I did not read the fine print... so I ended up with a 149.95 charge when I thought I was just signing up. What a scam!
I had the charge canceled, but this is a fishy business practice at best. Stay away from these people.

I joined about 2am this morning... screwed up by submtting payment info. Checked my account and $149.95 was charged to my card. Did live chat with an operator, I requested cancellation... she said... a request for refund will be submitted. Will see if refund is valid later this week.
This is the first time that I have encountered a business who's goal is to separate one from their money.

DO STAY AWAY... FAR AWAY. Clear your browser cache and set it to "zero"

They charged me $149.00 automatically upon joining just to place a bid and the cost of this bid package was not apparent at all untill the charge was made! This upset me and now, it is Sunday and they have no no phone avilable until Monday - Friday so I guess I'll be charged and have to fight to get my money back... I am ultra-pissed.

I followed a Facebook link to check out this site. Seemed cool. I filled in the registration information, including payment methods (I assumed for bids). I was then presented with a receipt for my purchase of 300 bids... costing me $149.95!
I contacted BidSauce (which isn't easy) and I was assured that I would be contacted within 2-5 business days and I should not have any issues with a refund.
So far, over three weeks later, no contact, my credit card has had three overdrafts ($$$) and has be frozen. BBB can do nothing.
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BIDSAUCE.

Had a pop up come on my computer about this auction site. Went to get more info and it asked for credit info to get more info. Next thing you know I'm charged $149. I immediately call my credit card co., Bank America, and ask them if the payment had been processed, and they said no. I asked them to decline the payment hey didn't. Went around and around with both Bidsauce and Bank of America, got them both on the phone at the same time, Bidsauce said they would refund, they didn't, but bank of America still wouldn't credit my card. Bank of America and Bidsauce are both crooks.

SCAM... FRAUD... STEALERS... LOW LIFE's... LIARS.

They steal your money, and you never get the items you win. They give you excuses of not having the source of supply, and they will put you on their list for a faster delivery when the item comes in.

Go to your credit card company and tell them you paid for items never received. Even the amount of your bids bought. Because you may buy bids, but you never received them if intent is for you to not receive won items.

Report them to the BBB as I did, and spread the word to family, friends, on facebook, twitter, myspace etc.
