This is a third party payment company that skims off the top and requests personal private information and will not budge. This company is shady and fraudulent. Dont trust them with your bank account information.

They are annoying and redundant. Way too much of a process to get paid as gig worker. They keep all your private info and it takes days and a lot of investigating to close your account.

I am a 1099 contractor with a medical company and receive my payments through Bill.com. I have been receiving payments for over a year with them and for the most part things worked well. Until they locked me out of my account with no warning or explanation and then refuse to reinstate my account no matter how much proof I send them that I am indeed the person and company I say I am. I even sent them legal documentation showing the formation of my company, passport, drivers license, nearly everything including the kitchen sink. Then I can't get a hold of anyone to actually try to fix the situation and then they tell me I have to file an appeal which will take 5 days. Lastly, I finally was able to chat with someone online and nearly nothing a said they responded to correctly including I asked for a copy of the chat transcript to be emailed to me and they replied with thanking me for being willing to summarize the session and send them an email with the summary! Are you freaking kidding me! Stay away from this company if possible. There are much better companies out there such are WorkMarket by ADP. I would give them negative stars if I could.

I accidentally signed up for the wrong account. Their website is not user friendly and I struggled with deleting it. I called customer service several times requesting to be reimbursed for the $79 that they continued deducting from my bank account. They finally reimbursed me for ONE month=disgusting as they can see that account was NEVER used! I will also let the company know that uses them to pay their employees that they are horrible!

Allowed a setup of a fraudulent account for my companies name and then allowed transactions to continue even after contracting bill.com which is extremely difficult. Banks have a legal and ethical responsibility to refund scammed money to their customers but bill.com has zero customer service does not take fraud seriously. I also have customers that use bill.com (why I don't know) and when they send an email they state a delivery date of a check which is usually 6 to 10 days after the date stated in the email. They are using a float scheme to gain more interest income on customers money. Stay away from this fraudulent company.

When a customer signs up for BILL they have to go thru a verification process before the account can be active including supplying identification and company documentation. We take the security of our customer's bank accounts very seriously, as well as having federally regulated due diligence we must complete when it comes to verifying identities and authorizing money movement for accounts. You are only able to get support through a chat, and the person on the chat is overseas, and since English not being their native language, it is incredibly hard to get them to understand my questions.

So basically they have completely outsourced their support.

The usability of the site is very poor. Whoever designed it does not understand UI development. I have been using it for a couple of years now, but I am currently looking for alternatives. Bill is expensive, clunky, and has really no support.

"Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the depositing bank. Therefore, we cannot escalate this"

My payment was intercepted and cashed. I filed a fraud claim for improper endorsement in August.
My customer has not been funded and I have not get paid. All BILL says is that there is no update on the investigation. I need help solving BILL case# *******
I need to get paid.

I won't get into the actual problems of their service and software right now. I just want to address the fact that Bill.com requires you to submit Cancellation Request Forms that go unattended to, forcing you to wait week(s) if you ever choose to cancel your account.

No respect whatsoever for the user. These are nothing more than scummy tactics utilized to retain users and inflate numbers, by creating unnecessary resistance.

Please be aware of this and carefully choose a more reputable and sophisticated service and do not make the same mistake I did.

Terrible, bill.com literally stole my money. It Has completely disappeared and now I just got screwed out of my almost $3000 that is completely unaccounted for. They were supposed to get back to me but its been days. They have no idea where it went, yah right their shady CEO has it or one of their shady business managers do. I just wanted to have a simple transfer of my funds into my bank account and now I am completely screwed and have no more for my rent this month. Just a disaster. Never us bill.com. Complete crooks.

This company took 8500.00 out of my account with out any authorization. I have never heard of them or do any kind of business with them. They were phishing my account by doing deposits in and out of.88 cents and then 8500.00. The scammers are bill.com and golden girls retirement. I have nothing to do with either companies. They need shut down ASAP.

They not only charge you for this software but then they charge every person you try to pay a hefty fee to get their money before 8 days. Otherwise they hold the money for 8 days and then pay it! DISGRACEFUL

I wanted/needed to reset my password. The site sends me in a loop of entering my email and sending me a reply to reset. The chat function is not a chat function populated by human beings - more like an automated FAQ recommending that I "log in" - can't do that bc my account is locked and I'm in the reset loop. No 800 #. No real person to even get back to me. It's a little frustrating. Maybe my browser settings are off or something, but if the solution to my issue is easy, then it should be more readily apparent or easy enough for a human being to answer. Thanks.

This service is horrible. I still Haven't gotten my money over a month of it saying "paid" & money received a month ago and this company I cant even call. How are you a service dealing with billing and people but don't have a phone support? This is embarrassing. They are trying to steal my money. The email system is the worst with the lazy staff that take forever to respond then submit the case as "solved" so they don't got to deal with it. The staff is an embarrassment and laughing stock of employees.

Bill.com used to be great, but not since the Feb 2020 update. I'm a software developer myself, and I'm completely shocked that their user interface made it to production. It's the absolute worst I've ever seen. No exaggeration. I'm actively looking for alternatives.

This company is a scam. I have, in writing, confirmation of my credit limit, statement credit and monthly rewards. Even with confirmation in writing for months now, my credit limit was reduced with no notification and on time payments since inception.

Don't even bother. If a client suggests they pay you via this platform siting expedience and ease, instead, just request they send your check by pony express via Istanbul at some future date. You will def get your money faster. Worst payment platform I've ever used. Impossible to get to customer support. Very vague once you've set up your account. Platform shows you've been paid even though no money shows up in your bank account. Just awful. Seriously, payments take longer to clear on bill.com than if you got a third party check, written in crayon, drawn on an Afghanistan pawn shop and deposited it in your local bank.

Terrible app. I do all my business on my Android phone, and every other company I deal with is just fine. Bill.com hides their customer service behind a chat function where their people disconnect before solving anything, then they send multiple emails telling you to visit their secure message center to see their customer service representative's response. Secure is right. The message center is so secure it can't be found. I've spent a half-hour already, logging in and clicking Support like I'm told, but I never see that message center.

Bill.com would like to manage your receivables, the very heart of your cash flow, but they do not think that is important enough to provide telephone support. I am trying to work thru a complex problem with a low-level chat agent and it is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

How can a company have a business that deals with people money and not have phone support, ya know a few companies started doing this and they all started jumping on like monkeys. Its $#*!ing ridiculous. I have a payment pending ive been working on through the state with for two months and about to be evicted my money better be in my account Friday, this is frustration just trying to get an answer from someone, you can't even type your own questions in their support box. I cant believe a company would set this up I really cant believe it.

Took close to two hours to fix a problem that never should have occurred. No phone support. I will not work for a client that wants me to use this platform. I don't trust them with my bank account information given how inept they are.

No log in for new account. Bill.com stored a phone number from 1997 for verification. Live Agents refuse to update my information. Agents don't respond back. I've sent ID and current active phone number with zero updates or feedback. The company only has outdated information on the account in my name. This company is unresponsive. I would not recommend them. They are unreliable.

Bill.com is unresponsive. I would not recommend them. They have an old phone number of mine from 1997 that they refuse to update. The company is unreliable can lead to fraud. Live Agents do not respond back or offer feedback.

It is my second review regarding dealing with bill.com. Even though the service they provide facilitates a lot of procedures internally, the lack of support from their customer service makes me distrust this platform. I sometimes find myself lost in making transactions with Bill.com, which means, dollar mistakes in case I am wrong. On this cases, you need support but you won't get it. So I prefer to go back to pay with checks, and manage everything trough the bank and this defeat the purpose of Bill.com.

Bill.com has improved since I wrote my previous review in March. They have moved the account input back to the side. Now you can see the invoice while you enter account codes. Changing the approvers around actually was easier than I thought, but why can't AI remember to keep the changes? The "more actions" is still not visible on every page. I am now used to typing the some of the same data over and over, but grabbing the invoice number and dragging it over, rather than typing, makes things easier. Except, that AI feature is not consistently available. I will go to grab and drag, and it is not there.
The main frustration remaining is when there are multiple invoices in multiple emails. AI will load a stack, landing on let's say, page 7, but it loads the data from page 1. If you don't notice it will associate page 7 with page 1 and it all becomes very messy. I now have faith that they might just fix that.

Bill.com new 2020 upgrades are a downgrade

I used to sing bill.com praises, but not after the February 2020 upgrade. This upgrade to AI assist causes a marked increase in data entry strokes. You can't see the accounts, which used to be on the side and are now lost on the bottom. Adding to an existing bill while updating the invoice number takes many more keystrokes. Changing the approvers around used to be one keystroke, now you have to delete and select again, about 5-6 strokes. The "more actions" is only for the first page, the subsequent pages, you have to return to the inbox. Very poorly thought out. The descriptions, which it used to remember, are gone. I now have to type the month and year for the invoice number every single time. I used to be able to type "Ma" and March 2020 would be there. Do I enjoy typing the same thing over and over and over! I am begging them to roll back the roll out!
